Agree about the crust.....always eat the middle and save the crust for last. Best part imo. Also hate PBJ sandwiches that are so stuffed. Much prefer thin layers of each. Guess that’s why I never really liked uncrustables.

I can agree with number 1. For 2 you can't assume the prices at least look it up and know before posting as a downside. 3 they dont waste the crust as one of the other comments already pointed out. 4 that's kinda just how fresh jam looks, its boiled down fruit and sugar that's simply what it looks like, not like the processed stuff from the store. Again, though, I fully agree with point 1, that looked like a disgusting amount of PB to the amount of perio...Jam.

To pay 7 or more dollars for one uncrushable pb and j is a bit outrageous. This is the one thing Everyone can make cheaply. I dont see this business going very far. People might try it once for the gimmick but definitely not keep going back for a 7 dollar pb and j. Especially, when they can make one sandwich at home for about 50 cents.

I grew up poor, so if I’m gonna go out for a bite to eat, it’s not going to be for a pb+j...cause that’s literally what my family had to eat all the time when we were pinching pennies. That and plan spaghetti with jar sauce.

Eating a regular jif and smuckers pb and J at home *really* extends the Nostalgia. This commercialization just ruins both the feeling and taste.
I personally love to eat PB&J with the crust. When you eat through the hard crust and reach the middle where the jam and the peanut butter is oozing out, you know that eating the crust was worth something for. 🙂

I thought about opening my own gourmet PB&J restaurant after making myself a sandwich with a toasted 7 grain whole wheat cinnamon bread with a frozen slate of peanut butter (crumbles like Reese's if you eat it while it's still frozen), strawberry jelly and jalepeno honey and thin sliced crispy bacon. I thought of this one as my mainstay (minus bacon) for the restaurant. I would have all sorts of bread and different degrees of toasted and a plethora of jellys, jams and nut butters all the way from huckleberry lime, habenero honey and peanut butter, cashew butter, almond butter, pecan butter, ect. Was gonna call it Kaybob's PB&J
Do it!!!!!!! Have pop up shops where you can cater to luncheons, conferences with other vendors, you can cater to baby showers, birthday parties, kids events where parents would pay for a pb&j while their child dance to Disney on Ice, the sky is the limit.
