I tried this board back in Feb and loved it instantly. Particularly for the kind of riding near me, which is small Midwest hills, it feels near perfect. Really fun laying trenches with it, buttering, hitting the park. Bummed you didn't like, but hey, we're all different. Appreciate the review.
Everyone’s got different preferences! Honestly this is one of my favourite boards ever. Only rode 6 different boards, but still. One of the most fun boards I own
I think it's a bit of a niche board because it's so wide. I just bought mine in 156w and couldn't be happier. I'm usually more of a freerider and take my old Flagship out for pretty much anything but for those warmer slushier days and just for faffing around I absolutely love this thing. Especially since it's the first all mountain/park board wide enough to not give me heel out on steeper stuff with size 12 boots.
I love both them. What the Pig loses in moveability and flex (compared to the zero) it compensates with its stability which makes it is easy for me to put force into my movements and manouver my board around, hold butters, balance on rails, powder much better and go into high jumps and land stable. Pig is perfect alround which works always for me. While the zero is especially fun when you wann spin and twist, butter and jib and hit sidehits all day and thats your style rather than carving or powder or big jumps for me.
I just purchased the 2024 Twinpig with the A-6 bindings. I will use them on my upcoming mid-May trip to Mammoth. I am super excited even though you make me feel depressed with your negativity but I do appreciate your honesty haha.
Got one a couple years to practice stuff like frontside 360s and riding switch. Love it. I’m a bit of fatty at 230 pounds with big feet wearing 13s so the width works for me. Doesn’t do that well in the pow however.
Hey man great review ,I really like this board but, you mention other size shifted asym freestyle boards? if you could indicate a few models you enjoy I would appreciate that. Thanks from the alpes.
Would the 2024 union force XL bindings be to big for this board? I rode my 2021 twin pig with a size 13 boot with some union force bindings in a size large but I was practically maxing those bindings out with my boot being wider..
Any chance you could review a Weston Hatchet. I am wanting to learn more. It may be my dream board but its $1k CAD. I have found angry sb reviews are bang on and so insightful.
angry, im between this and the sb resort twin. coming from a lib tech boxscratcher and looking for something to charge a bit more on yet still jib friendly and playful. suggestions?
Does Kevin still like it? If so would be interesting to hear what it is about the board that makes him really enjoy it as it has never really clicked for you.
@@AngrySnowboardertheres a difference between being angry and being a dumb douche. All i did was share my thoughts on a board same as you. Didn’t discredit anything you said. You’re f*ckin weird.
They shut down back in 2012. Appearently in 2022 there was a relaunch of forum. Looks like the board pressing site is the mothership. My understanding its the Capita factory. All cool stuff. More choices is always good.
Great review!! thank you for this. I bought this board some days ago. Hoping to test it this winter season and see how it goes.. Do you think it will pair nicely with drake reload bindings?

Your reviews are the next best thing to actually test riding the boards. Thanks for the great content!

He prefers the Ride Zero which has similar rider appeal.

Oh the edits are nice on this, love the production value.
Thanks for the review. Very helpful indeed!
Hey man great review ,I really like this board but, you mention other size shifted asym freestyle boards?
if you could indicate a few models you enjoy I would appreciate that.
Thanks from the alpes.
Hey Angry, upgrading to Twinpig (157cm) from my Nitro Prime (162cm), intermediate level rider. Can i keep my Nitro Rambler bindings for the Pig?
They'll work.
I’m 5’9” with 165 lb
What would you recommend between 151 and 154?
For All mountain and learning some flat ground tricks.
51
What is your favorite asymmetrical twin that you would suggest upgrading to from last years twinpig?
Nidecker Gamma series.
Would the 2024 union force XL bindings be to big for this board? I rode my 2021 twin pig with a size 13 boot with some union force bindings in a size large but I was practically maxing those bindings out with my boot being wider..
For reference my bindings are set -15,+15

No.
Hi Avran, will you review the new warpig?
Hasn't changed since the last review.
What size did you ride? Thank you
Avran you damn devil dawg, I know this one ain't the king, but I think it's fair to say Ride doesn't have a single stinker. Bindings are dope too.

@AngrySnowboarder You and my boy MacLongo need to git yourselves to Canada and we'll tear Banff a new one
Two year plan right now, must stabilize income and productivity.
@AngrySnowboarder I hear you. 2025 will be the Age of Awesomeness.
Bring Tommie B, too. He'll love it. We have birds in Canada.

SB Twin all day.
Out of curiosity: which size did you try?
Also missed that detail. I'm guess it could be the 156W?
I am looking for something to build my confidence spinning off medium jumps. Will this do it since I can ride it shorter? If not, any suggestions?
Not this. Spring Break Resort Twin.
Thanks!
I'm 155 pounds 5'8. Do you think I can go with a 154 or is 156 better?

Love this year's Pig graphics. That MTNpig in the back looks sick!
The 2022 graphics will always be my favourite. The toxic waste looking base, with grey camo top was tooooo good
@@j.p.6228 totally agree, that's why I have the '22 😁
Does Kevin still like it? If so would be interesting to hear what it is about the board that makes him really enjoy it as it has never really clicked for you.
Kevin hasn't worked for us for 3 years, time to move on.
@@AngrySnowboarder100%, all good. Do you know if TC has different thoughts on the Twinpig or largely agrees?
Are volume shift boards good for heavier people? 5'7", US8 boot, 180-185lbs. Looking to get this in a 151.
You're not even that heavy and your boot is small.
I think its a great beginner board for big guys with big feet.
Well good thing you’re the expert here.

I ordered one. I wanted to let someone else borrow my current board that is a forum board(remember them).
Nope, never heard of Forum ever. What were they? Do they still exist? Please tell me more I need to know!

What is the Mothership? You’re confusing me talking about things as if you think I do and don’t know what they are.

There's so many better bindings out there, why subject yourself to trash.
@@AngrySnowboarder ha.. which ones do you recommend for this board?
It's almost like we need to put a section in the review where we recommend bindings, maybe we should do that for the 2024 Ride Twinpig Review.

Just what every woman dreams of in a man
The person that claims first is also the person that claps when a plane lands and got a participation trophy at field day.
Also the person that reminds the teacher that they forgot to collect homework.
test burton man
No, this is Angry Snowboarder not Test Burton Man. Not sure what that is.
It's like Burning Man but with a better name lol @@AngrySnowboarder
If it's on the same level as Burning Man it's trash.
