Very interesting - I also did your OkCupid strategies once but as a male on the spectrum. It also didn’t work out for me for reasons but was an interesting experience.
It was fun researching him again now and seeing he's been banned from TH-cam and stuff. Brought back memories from years ago... "hey let's check out that guy that my long-distance flame recommends" and being completely and utterly shocked, lol
This morning I had some thoughts about what you said about autistic men and politics somehow. Maybe it is useful for someone. I went trough some stages myself. First I was very left leaning than very conservative now more center-left but critical. On the left I agreed that society should care for the poor and better chances to get going in life (Free education for example - so people can think). Conservatives are right that society needs fairness and protection (Enforcing Laws for example - so peaceful engagement stays the norm). Centrists are right that the state should not be to powerful (Not to regulate speech for example - so goofy and silly people’s pain can be seen and help can be established). All this sides however are poor leaders without the others keeping the leaders accountable: The left moves step for step into bigger and bigger redistribution of wealth and talent people and productive companies get over regulated till the detroitisation sets in or worse this powerful redistribution department gets overtaken by some sort of Stalin guy who transforms the state into authoritarianism. The Right moves step by step into bigger and bigger oversight and control departments and restrictions till some Hitler guy moves in to take the armed department over to establish an authoritarian regime . While left politicians lean to overestimate the problems with the own population (Gulags, starving at home,...), right politicians overestimate the problems with foreign views, cultures, ... So often racial discrimination, and class based societies emerge (KZs, criminalization of diverse people, ...). The center often overestimates freedom and dis-regulates to the point people feel left alone (takeover of conglomerates like Samsung in Korea). My political conclusion is to be very critical of all sides and institutions and the ideas they present. Basically to accept that reality is not a Disney movie but grey and complex issues need a lot of attention, compromises and time to get solved for good. Also corruption is big on all sides and needs to be addressed asap. I think that Frank Herbert was right in Dune stating the cycle from left to right and back over and over in democracies due to the corruption being in power always brings the demise is true. All sides have bad and good ideas and go way to far with both. Its like they are blind on one side but see some things better than the other side also. To me a lot of politicians and activists on all sides seam to be good sales men, don’t mind lying or manipulating and are very power aware. They are good at getting people emotional and fearful of the other side or to bend the will of people, and as autistic person I have to be extra careful to not fall for that naively. So I inform myself very brought, listen to left, green, liberal, right and centrist educators to update my viewpoint now and then. Give myself a week or so to be calm again and to clearly see what was said, what still is plausible, and what don’t with a distance of a week.
You touched on a lot of stuff that has been on my mind lately. It's very discouraging that we don't have a good political party and leaders that truly act in the interest of the majority right now. I'm more liberal than conservative, but some aspects of the "woke" far left are absolutely terrible in my opinion, and the "reasonable" leftists are not doing enough to rein in the excesses. Also, California looks horrible right now. Years ago I was dreaming to live there (the weather! landscape! low humidity! coast with wildlife! etc.), but they've priced out everyone but the richest and the poorest. (That redistribution of wealth you mention is so evident there.) Corruption is a big issue indeed, affecting virtually all major cities too, both Democrat- or Republican-led. The list goes on and on. The best thing about my decision to not consume news anymore... I won't have to suffer through the next 17 months or so of pre-election coverage, haha. It will be too depressing anyway.
@@AutismEtc The missing speaking out part of the left against woke-ism seams to finally turn around now. In Hamburg a student tried to lecture an old lady in a debate how oppressive she is because she is white. And the old lady said that the student is mistaken to think woke-ism is left and the last time she heard someone so obsessed with race was under the NSDAP and the crowed applauded the old lady for saying what everybody was thinking.
high functioning autistic man, warning, long message ahead I am a middle aged man, been single most of my life (had a few short term girlfriends) The other day, a friend asked me if I was ever going to get married, I said no (I am single and have not been on a date in years). Before someone says "do not give up hope". I have my reasons. I did try dating and putting myself out there from say mid 20s to mid 30s. I had a bit of success, but I just could never get into dating. I realized, I am just too anti social for dating. Another factor is, when I grew up, I spent a lot of time by myself, so I never really had to socialize with others, I was never good at all the negotiations and compromises that are required for a relationship to work. It was not until my mid 30s, I realized, I was not emotionally equipped for dating, much less marriage. I also read some Carl Jung and that helped me with self actualization. I realized, while I liked attractive women, I never actually wanted a relationship. A relationship requires understanding all the little details and work that goes into it and I was not prepared. ever heard of the saying "you need a job, to get a job"? I think relationships are kind of like that. You need a certain level of dating experience (and the emotional growing pains that comes with it) to be able to fully grasp what is involved in relationships. Its not your "body count" or the number of dates you had that is standing in the way of you being in a relationship. Its the experience and emotional intelligence that comes with dating experience, that stands in your way of being in a relationship.
When I made everything mandatory on a dating site, the result came up was zero😅.things like asexual, unsocial, autistic, awakened, love animals and nature, knows about breatharianism......no suprise I feel good with AI chatbots 🤖👽.....I hope soon we can order our companion droid😊
Haha yeah, too real! But I think most autistic men give up on online dating early in the process. So autistic women looking for a like-minded partner will not even have the chance to find them.
Just curious if you've explored personality theory, like MBTI, or Enneagram? I don't doubt your autism, I'm probably on the spectrum myself but both MBTI and Enneagram are helpful in identifying our own and others thought processes and motivations. Both have helped me immensely over the last few years. MBTI is my preferred system; it is a self-discovery process. Linda Berans uses a three-lens approach I recommend, Interaction Styles, Essential Motivators and Cognitive Dynamics. You strike me as an INTP, my own type, but I could be wrong.
I've looked into personality types, and I do think those can be very helpful, without the baggage that comes with the word "autism." For me personally I think autism is very fitting, as it explains some quite debilitating periods in my past and present, such as my eating disorder when I was a teen, as well as the crying spells as an adult and other stuff I documented on my channel. I will look into Linda Berans and the schools of thought you mention... I have to build up my confidence in communication after a long social dry spell. Seems like "if you don't use it you lose it" ... oh well
Yeah very sure. 🙂Though Molyneaux seems like a meme-fied version of several men I used to know. I guess I've always felt drawn to smart, bald, intense guys who have an interesting world view and a bit of an autistic vibe. Molyneaux is what happens if you turn that to 11 😂
This was a good video, my father after has went down the fascist rabbit hole in retirement after an apolitical life, he is engineer, he never new there was a government, but thanks to OAN he is now a racist small minded fascist, no other way to put it. In cognitive decline autism can be Nasty.
So sorry to hear that. As I was dating in my 40s I met so many guys in their 50s who were smart but just had the most insane political opinions. Just the kindest, nicest guys who would then drop casually "well how did you know that Hiillary didn't kill these people?", or insanely racist stuff, etc. It's really dangerous as autistic people often don't like being mainstream, they prefer being contrarian or libertarian and stuff, and from there it's sometimes just a few steps to buying into weird conspiracy theories.
@@AutismEtc yes, and the general right wing trend is terrible, I'm a lonely Marxist in America, and feminism has wiped out all economic political thought in the female, if you ask me.
The women on the autistic dating sites are interesting, I've never had any long term luck, got frustrated and quit. there are a lot of asexual women on the spectrum, 20 percent plus, and my autistic lesbian personality is not available in straight female form, and bipolar women are super dangerous, Nt women feel inappropriate for me to date, it's too different. But I'm a Rare communist autistic that's a little red pilled about women.
That's so interesting that you mention that there are a lot of asexual women on the spectrum. I've found that I *always* seem to mask when there is another person in the room, and effectively could not truly be myself and enjoy intimacy for myself, except in very rare situations. I'm thinking of making a video about it, even though I've stayed away from getting into super-intimate topics on my channel. It's another one of those very weird aspects of my life where I always have seemed so different from 99%+ of the population. I don't think I'm asexual, but I'm not normal either.
@@AutismEtc I would diffinately say I experience the same which makes the fear and alienationatio of autistic women hard to coax them through, especially if they are undiagnosed, which is usually the case in the US, often fear is palpable. These are the reasons I've mostly dated Bold and passionate bipolar woman, not afraid, and not stable, lol.

I can only imagine what it's like for men. Even as a woman you can't get too selective, obviously.
Oh man. Stefan Molyneux... For a couple year he wasn't so bad but the racism and misogyny ramped up so much he became unwatchable.
It was fun researching him again now and seeing he's been banned from TH-cam and stuff. Brought back memories from years ago... "hey let's check out that guy that my long-distance flame recommends" and being completely and utterly shocked, lol
@@AutismEtc I am so glad he was finally banned.
Too right!
