- Installing the Akrapovic Exhaust System for the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and testing it out on the road. Sounds much better with the noise killer out, it has a deep sound and I must say it's the best one for this bike.It decimates Yoshimura R77, Scorpion, Leo Vince and every last one of them. If you want a deep sound with no jerky pops I recommend you get this one. It has a spot welded screw that you must carefully take out, and then remove the noise killer with some pliers and a piece of cloth.

My question,is the akra somehow affected your bike’s performance? Do you still keep the bike? If so,then how it is performing currently after all the years ? Please reply as i am gonna order according to your feedback…..

Thanks a lot! I listened to a bunch of videos with 3 pairs of headphones before I decided on the Akrapovic. After I eliminated all other exhausts it came down to the Akrapovic and Yoshimura. I found the Akra to be a whole lot deep in sound than the Yoshi. That's what I wanted, that's what I got. Either way, they sound good only without the noise killer. :)

Nope, only with headphones around 20 videos and it was enough to decide on the Akra for the Ninja 300, I took a look at the comments and everyone said that the akra was deeper in sound than the yoshi. Anyway after I got the noise killer out, things got real! I'm very happy with it, it kind of changes your whole riding experience :) Good Luck!

Salut, am și eu un Kawasaki ninja 300 ABS edition și m-ar interesa dimensiunea adaptorului, e de 51mm ?
Salutare, nu e nici un adaptor, dai toba veche jos si ramane teava direct catre chiuloasa care are undeva la 36 mm grosime, pe care atasezi toba noua (slip-on)
Light Edge Studios văd ca a ta e originala, eu vreau să-mi cumpăr una universala (replica) și la alea îți trebuie un adaptor
Teoretic, ar trebui sa aibe si adaptor, vad pe olx un anunt cu toba akrapovic universala la 250 de lei unde scrie adaptor inclus de la 36mm la 51mm

iCrystalizZ no power loss great experience riding and feels like it has a small power increase in high revvs, you need a power commander for power efficiency. As for the water you have to be carefull, I ride with a ton of people without baffles and have thoudands of km, have fun! Ride safe!

jerin jose in my opinion akrapovic for the ninja 300, akrapovic has more deep sound, yoshimura less deep sound but high end kick at high rpm
there have been power changes with dbkiller?
It feels as if it has a little bit more go, but without any proper testing and measuring, I'm not sure. Anyway it sounds better live.

lorenzo tolli I did but didn't get a chance to film, anyway all the cars lit up like a christmas tree. It was freakin loud with the straight pipe like a harley, but it's not good for the engine, you don't have any compression on the exhaust and it is possible to ruin it.

Brother you had to weld?
The screw that held the noise killer in place was spot welded, but just a little bit, so I forced it a bit and it came right off. You need good wrench with a tight fit so you don't damage the screw and take it out during your first try.
Light Edge Studios No brother i'm talking about the connection between exhaust and the pipe.. These cheap exhaust doesn't come with mide pipe unlike slipons right?
Nope it's just the slip on without any other pipes, and it's not very cheap, it's about 500 euros on ebay...The full System with the power commander costs even more, but for a 300 I don't think it's worth getting more than the slip on for better sound and experience riding.
