I really like the 102Y hooks. Used them for a long time now. They are odd sized which is different. They have a big gape also. Like coloring the hackle, again learning something new that really works well. Great video. Making the standard flies better one fly at a time!!

Do you add floatant to the entire fly or just the wing so the body penetrates the film?

Is the rear half of the fly supposed to be hanging in the water? Just like Quigley Cripples, it doesn’t appear to be able to penetrate the water surface. Fish don’t care? We fishers care!
