First, it's for the promise of romance, female companionship, or easy women. Other than that, they are being sold by lots of vlogs a fantasy reality of paradise. Very good place for many US expats especially to retire. Some 400,000 are said to be living there already - many retired military once stationed in Subic or Clark decades ago and love the places. Soft landings can be had with fellow AMERICANS there to soften the transition to Filipino life. The beauty of the Philippines also includes a possible life for almost any budget - required or desired - determined by location and lifestyle. Something not available in Biden's America being so inflation riddled and comparably - terribly expensive for millions to retire ! - - - Half of all Americans now have passports - presumably looking for greener pastures ? Many have already relocated to various E & W European countries. Mexico Central & S American countries also. And then S E Asia as well - Malaysia Thailand Indonesia Vietnam S Korea + "the Philippines" !!! - - - But you are correct - moving to the Philippines is an option - for some from many parts of the world also. The attractive combinations of a low cost of living - friendly super welcoming people the warm weather with awesome white sandy beaches -&- great diving in tropical waters - 'might' - have something to do with it ? ❤👍🙏✌👏

The Philippines are so many places to live its depend of your choices because of so many islands but if you go and live here and a lot of complain better not to come at all.
People from colder latitudes are seriously considering it because their money can go much further here, and they can just online manage what leave behind abroad, not to mention the exciting developments in the internet infrastructure and healthcare. Neighboring SEA countries aren't getting cheaper either and feels temporary only. But in the PH, foreigners could start a business within 1 to 3 years, and foreign TH-cam vloggers are a testament to that kind of success from humble beginnings. English is widely spoken and you just have to ask people who are always ready to help. 1st world countries may offer a high standard of living, but this sacrifices the quality kind of life as many expats are grateful for. Indeed the Philippines continues to save lives post WWII. Thank you for making this video. New sub here!
Why start a business in the Philippines where its people are starving, they have no money, Philippines main export is slave labor, if your business succeeds you'll have local officals and the police chief trying to extort money from you, very risky for a foreigner to open a business, your life will be in danger.

My question would be why are there so many Filipinos and Filipinas living the country ? If you could count how many people from the Philippines all over the world and they don't want to come back, you would be surprised
In 95% it's purely for money or opportunity. I don't think I've ever met a Filipino working overseas that wouldn't choose to be back in the Philippines if it provided the same income and opportunities. Then again, it probably depends where they are - almost all of the Filipino OFWs I am friends with were in the Middle East so it's hardly surprising they would rather be in the Philippines.
I hope all the foreigners that love the Philippines can think of something like a video content that would help Philippines - China conflict.. So that United Nations will interfere.. thank you

Wow So many people’s Want to Move to the South east Asia , Must be good 👍 😂😂✌️👍👍👍✌️
First, it's for the promise of romance, female companionship, or easy women. Other than that, they are being sold by lots of vlogs a fantasy reality of paradise. Some do discuss the difficulties of moving here, but often downplay the potential hazards and pitfalls. Before making a final move, my advice is to do a 'trial run' for several months. Then you will know better if it's for you.
Wise advice 👍🇵🇭

I'm just scared of the power going on and off, waiting in long lines, and... crazy weather
You forgot the terrible infrastructure, driving is extremely dangerous, lawless country, undisciplined drivers and people, cut in front of the line, medical care is terrible, roads are narrow, Filippinos make 3 lanes out of two, where ever you park youhave so called parking attendants they want a tip if you don't some get aggressive, all products 99.99% come from China nad its quilty is very poor.
Philippines really, really came on very Strong after the Pandemic!!

If moving to the Philippines, it won't hurt to learn the language.

The Philippines are so many places to live its depend of your choices because of so many islands but if you go and live here and a lot of complain better not to come at all.
Mabuhay

Ya explore the philippines like palawan.
