- A bit of a long one here as I combined both of Sakura Ayane's and Hanae Natsuki's parts. I thought it's best put together as their scenes are connected (Falco's in particular, that is).
And we have Hosoya Yoshimasa's & Kaji Yuki's commentary on the scene Hanae Natsuki found most uncomfortable to talk about.
I love Hosoya-san, he sometimes gets so awkwardly funny

Reiner's seiyuu normal talking voice is different from the one in the anime. I think reiner's voice is soo cool
Hosoya is a beast of a seiyuu
as is Daisuke Ono (F for Erwin), their character voices are simply iconic
you just couldn't imagine that Reiner voice came from sweet face like hosoya
Reiner's VA also gave voice to Belial from Granblue Fantasy. I love the voices of both of these

I'm so proud of Natsuki Hanae landing the role for Falco. Natsuki Hanae playing as 9S with Yui Ishikawa playing as 2B in Nier Automata was such a good idea.
Hanae did not choose THAT scene cuz he didnt wanna talk about it but they ended up talking about it 😋

me too, the way Gabi’s voice was cracking as you saw her beliefs slowly get chipped away was heartbreaking. and then Falco apologising and Kaya recognising that it isn’t their fault since none of them could control where they were born, such powerful stuff 😢

I feel so bad for the VAs actually.... they were so traumatized to the point where they don't even wanna talk about some scenes (all hail Isayama, you satisfied sensei after traumatizing us all?). But Ig that's what makes AoT unique.
Why did you feel so bad? They are pros. They did their best to bring their characters live. The felt the characters' emotions because they really put their efforts in them. If they didn't do that, they won't survive in harsh anime industry. And why did you make as if that was Isayama's faults?

Uh-oh.. Now I'm wondering what happened during THAT recording.. Hanae-san looked rather nervous, Kaji-san seemed to lighten up the mood, while Hosoya-san was dead quiet until Hanae-san mentioned his name.. Then both Hosoya-san and Kaji-san kept saying "it wasn't bad" 🤨
Voice acting is just like acting, and sometimes the actor could be too into the character, that what he feels the same as the character 🤔
