I have live in Gambia for 1 year before I travelled out, There's not a lot of food to be honest, I learnt to eat potato leaves ground rice, rice and boiled cassava served on a tray for the whole Family. Nigerian food is large compared to Gambia.. and in Gambia as a Nigerian we must have a permit before we were allowed to stay that back in 2003, one😮 year that I lived in Gambia and others Nigerians we have to do the permit for all of us to been able to stay in Gambia. It was compulsory.. Nigeria is very accommodating..We are all Africans. GOD Bless Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬.

Hey!!! AKARA and MAIMAI are Nigerian foods,barely exported to Gambia. This was me, in Ghana -Accra, many, many years ago!!! The only things I could eat were eggs, bread, soda and hot chocolate drinks. The taste of their foods turned me off. They didn't have Jellof rice then.
