    Cobratech is assembled in the USA from parts made overseas. The quality and warranty are good I strongly recommend them

    Cobratec knives continue to excel in the build and quality with time.. The higher end knives can't compare to the lesser priced models.. The cheaper models are still good, yes, but the more you spend, the better you get. Think Ford Mustang 4 cylinder ecoboost vs Ford mustang GT V8..

    That thing built up a lot of character over 3 months. These higher end "budget" knives in my opinion are great for every day use with out any regrets.

      Yea i do like it overall. I am a fairly hard user of an edc knife so i do wish the finish was better.

    The higher end Cobratec OTF's will not show as much wear as the lower end. I have both and my Large FS-3 model is going strong after 6 months with hardly any cosmetic problems.

    The lightweight is 4.8oz (half your giant beast!), with a 3.25” d2 blade and a 4.5” handle. That’s a pretty decent carry. I picked one up for $50, and I’d call it a good deal. The other models seem to go for about $80. Ive never had it go off track yet, but I have a ridiculous rotation of edc lol. Is it worth $300 to step up to a UT? Idk, that’s subjective.

    I would save up a little bit more money and get the *Cobratec Titan* I think the jump in quality and the fact that it has M390 steel is worth it and I believe it's in the conversation for best OTF knife for $200 or less
    *The Cobratec Titan only weighs 3.3 oz as well! More than half the weight of the Cobratec CTK- 1 (medium). CNC machined T6 aluminum.

      You obviously didn’t examine this knife at all, which is clear from your comment about the knife “getting off track” and having to “disassemble” the knife. Like most OTFs, there is a built-in safety mechanism which will cause the knife to “get off track.” To fix this, disassembly is not required. All that is needed is to grasp the knife blade and pull it upwards to reset it.

  • @dalelamar7371

    when the video first started i thought it had a worn finish like microtech does sometimes. You said it's come off after a few months, that's ridiculous. And 9 and a half ounces is fuckin crazy lol. And d2 os one of my least favorite steels. And it's Chinese. I don't care where it's "assembled", that's a Chinese knife.

    • @DirtbagOutdoors
      @DirtbagOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is. I still carry it everyday, though. D2 is strong, it just doesnt hold an edge worth shit. The finish is definitely not ideal.
