Is there also a way to do a labelling exercise where a student would label a number of single images individually and assign a label for each (from a predefined set of possible labels). For example, a student would see the image of a house, car, and a bus and would label each individually, picking a label from the list (house, car, bus)?

Russell, Your explanation is really clear, however after uploading the image, a blank map and putting on 20 countries I keep getting a message telling me I must put in the X coordinates. and the "labels" are not displayed under my image.... any ideas?
Gary, I am not using Moodle these days so I am a bit rusty but if I remember you do need to save the positions once you have moved the labels into the correct position. Perhaps you are forgetting to do that. Sorry I can't help more but I have not been using Moodle now for over a year.

How do you set feedback? Can the wrongly placed labels drop down? As an example.
Sophie, the feedback is automatic since you add it in when making the quiz and then Moodle delivers the feedback when the students complete a quiz.

Not massively different. Many of the quiz options are quite similar. I do like this one though and I do use it.
