The argument against that would be that JJ watt could have the best defensive season ever but the team isn’t gonna win games if they have someone like Nathan Peterman at quarterback. That’s unfortunately why quarterbacks will almost always win these.

Voter fatigue has nothing to do with Lamar lol. It’s simply Allen does the most with less. Keep in mind Allen has over 2 full games sat as well. The Bills weren’t even projected to make the playoffs or even win their division yet they were 13-3 with Josh starting and the #2 seed. Lamar had a phenomenal year but another big issue is no QB has won 3 MVPs before making or winning the SB.
Voter fatigue has EVERYTHING to do with why it’s even a conversation lol. If Lamar didn’t win it last year then it wouldn’t even be seen as close. Beats Allen in every stat (including head to head) besides tush push TDs lmao. Also people discrediting the Bills team to bolster Allen is insane to me. Does he not have Amari Cooper? Or James Cook? Or Kincaid? Or Shakir? Or a top 5 o line? I do agree Lamar has the better team around him, but making it sound like the Bills hired grocery baggers to work around Allen is crazy. Also where has anyone to be taken serious ever said that the Bills would be terrible? ESPN has the Bills prior to the season opener at 5th overall and a 70% chance to make the playoffs. The official NFL website has them as the 5th seed. Ofc not as good as the 2nd seed they got but a playoff spot is a playoff spot. 4 of the 6 CBS sports analysts had the Bills winning their division and at worse making the playoffs in the wildcard. Now ofc I’m sure other websites and analysts can say otherwise, I’m just siting a couple to prove my point that it wasn’t a universal take to have the Bills be bottom feeders this season. Anyone with an ounce of ball knowledge knew that they’d be a 10+ win team. I’m not taking away from what Allen has done but let’s be real. Allen has been great this year, but the fact is Lamar has just been better.
Another thing about '11 Rodgers GB offense would beat teams so bad Aaron essentially only played 14.5 games. Putting his stats on a 16 game pace would be 378/554 68.2 CMP% 5123 yards 50 TDs 7 INTs 122.3 passer rating, which is crazier considering that was the year of the QB goes to show just how insane and good his season was. He also led the #1 offense while 2 other teams averaged 30+ PPG and the Lions who were 4th averaged 29.6, while having the 32nd-ranked defense and the 26th-ranked run game and the 3rd-ranked pass game.
thank god people are starting to realize lamar is the mvp by a landslide. for a while i was concerned at how many people were acting like allen was miles ahead as if he didnt get whooped 35-10, went 9/30 one game, almost lost to the patriots, and literally has worse stats in every department except for team record and rushing TDs. AP voted lamar as for 1st team All Pro so looks like they know whats up. LaMV3
My problem with almost all MVP talk is that it is not a discussion about being valuable it is about stats. Stats don not equal value. Just as an example the Steelers without TJ Watt can't win a game. With him they have a great record. That is value.
Great List! Though the Peterson mvp could be higher for me. Agree that Wentz should have won it in 2017. The 2011 Rodgers MVP is still the greatest single regular season of quarterbacking i have ever seen. Better than 55 td manning season and the 50 td brady season. The stats were backed up by eye test and film. The throwing accuracy, velocity, and playmaking ability was unmatched. No one couldve made the plays and throws that he was making that season. They were 9-7 or 10-6 team on paper that aaron rodgers tricked people into thinking that were as good as their 15-1 record suggested.
One man offense for 24 is crazy, hes got so many pro bowlers it aint funny. Even outside of pro bowl, to argue you can have an 1800 yd + RB and then say one man offense. Thats brutal 😂
I already knew that Lamar’s ‘23 season would be ranked last and it just shows how little knowledge you really have. This man played against the most difficult schedule in the league with 10 matchups against teams that played in playoff games that season, and the Ravens were so dominant that Lamar wouldn’t even play in the second half cause the games were over. Literally the only reason his stats don’t jump off the page is because Lamar did it in a single half of football for almost every game.
I agree with Lamar>Allen this year, but the offense doesnt just rest on HIS shoulders. Zay Flowers & Mark Andrews are solid, plus Derrick Henry has been running like the rents been due all year. That said, 45 touchdowns and only 4 picks is INSANITY. Plus Lamar has a better record against winning teams than Allen (and beat Allen in week 4). For all those that say Allen doesn't have an offense forget that he has a six time pro bowler he's throwing to plus a top 10 rushing attack. I'd even argue that Lamar did his best work earlier in the season when his defense was the WORST defense in the league! All in all, I think Lamar deserves to win this year, and that's not to take anything away from Josh Allen, he deserves to be looked at as being among the best in the league too.

Allen is doing more for his team, but Lamar clearly has the better numbers. Should go to Lamar and given his popularity, I think it will.
Dak put up better numbers but his record vs winning teams and tendency to stat pad against cupcakes excludes him in my eyes. I do think there are arguments for McCaffrey but running backs are inherently less valuable than quarterbacks, and I remember he put up good numbers against the ravens and they still got blown out because Purdy sucked
Well, considering Lamar was first team all pro this year and I look at the film and he looks better and his number is blow Josh allens out the waters anyway I think MV3 is in play
I think it’s time to start putting Joe Burrow in the MVP race with Josh and Lamar. Joe and Josh are both more valuable to their team than Lamar. Burrow has one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, leads in passing yards, passing TDs, and total TDs. If you take Josh Allen off of the Buffalo Bills I say they win 6-7 games at most. The Ravens have a spectacular offensive line, their receivers get statistically considerably more separation than any other team in the league (not to mention Buffalo being last in this stat) and their backfield is impossible to guard when you have the most dominant running back of the last 10 years. Not saying it should definitely be Joe, but it should be talked about more as a 3-man race.
You're adding some playoff stats to some of these, but not others. 2020 rodgers didnt have 50 TDs in reg season, 2022 mahomes didnt have 5600 yards in reg season. Cool list though
Dafaq are you talking about the Ravens were a one man team, the one man being Lamar. They had one of the top 2 RBs in the NFL in Henry, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews...
CJ Stroud should have been 2023 MVP. He was the best QB out of all of them and should have gotten it over Lamar especially seeing as it was his rookie year and not in spite of it.
I'm being a homer ofc but I wish they did a co-MVP (or a win lol) in 2014 for JJ Watt. Rodgers did have a fantastic year don't get me wrong. Just that the last defensive player to win MVP was Lawrence Taylor in 1986, and there hasn't even been a defensive runner-up since then except JJ.
2-14 in 2013 to 9-7 in 2014 is a big feat for sure, but yeah you’re right and I agree. Only MVPs that didn’t make the playoffs were OJ in ‘73 and Unitas in ‘67, and the playoff were only 8 teams back then
2009 Peyton Manning should be #15. 2023 Lamar was the best player in a weak year. Not only was 2009 Peyton's season lackluster by MVP standards, but IMO both Brees and Favre were far more deserving.
Rodgers sat out a lot of 4th quarters and the last game of the season. Go back and watch that season. You won't find anyone that has ever played at that level.
Aaron Rodgers should be 15, 14, 13, & 12 on this list. He absolutely should not have even won the award in 2020 and 2021 because Mahomes and Brady (or even Cooper Kupp) were far more deserving. Having Rodgers at 1 is a ridiculous joke. That would be the same Rodgers who couldn't even win a single playoff game, or beat a sub .500 team led by Kyle Orton, wouldn't it? So much for valuable. Rating him ahead of guys who actually won playoff games (let alone the Super Bowl) is just flat out absurd.
Lamar this year was 85 rush yards away from having 4k passing 1k rushing. His heisman campaign at Louisville he had 4k rush yards and 1k rush yards and it was great in college The mofo was this close to doing it in the pros wtf

I do think there are arguments for McCaffrey but running backs are inherently less valuable than quarterbacks, and I remember he put up good numbers against the ravens and they still got blown out because Purdy sucked
Homie quit looking at stats and watch the film, Allen is the clear MVP choice this year.
Well, considering Lamar was first team all pro this year and I look at the film and he looks better and his number is blow Josh allens out the waters anyway I think MV3 is in play
Yo bro love the vids. I’m from Barrie, Ontario also can u grade Lamar’s draft class
They had one of the top 2 RBs in the NFL in Henry, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews...
one man offense has to be one of the worst takes ive ever heard
He’s talking about 2019
CJ Stroud should have been 2023 MVP. He was the best QB out of all of them and should have gotten it over Lamar especially seeing as it was his rookie year and not in spite of it.
Bills are closer to a one-man offense than the ravens this year. Remember this was supposed to be their reconstruction year
I'm being a homer ofc but I wish they did a co-MVP (or a win lol) in 2014 for JJ Watt. Rodgers did have a fantastic year don't get me wrong. Just that the last defensive player to win MVP was Lawrence Taylor in 1986, and there hasn't even been a defensive runner-up since then except JJ.
He’d have a case if the Texans had made the playoffs. Just really hard to give an MVP award to someone sitting on their couch come wildcard weekend
How do you lead the League in TD passes and break the rushing record in the same season and not be top 3???
I'm from Calgary, Alberta!
Manning and mahomes have to be 1 and 2. 50 touchdowns and 5000 yards is insane. Effeciency doesn't beat that level of volume.
Rodgers sat out a lot of 4th quarters and the last game of the season.
Go back and watch that season. You won't find anyone that has ever played at that level.
@bmooresaxy it doesn't matter, 50 touchdowns and 5000 yards automatically wins lol
@ my point is rodgers easily makes it to 50 if he plays all the games.
I misunderstood the graphic at 6:28 and thought, "There's no way he had 20 TDs and one Int in week 1."

From Sherwood park alberta and I unfortunately am a cowboys fan. Love the videos keep up the good work

15. 2023 Jackson (Dak Prescott should’ve won MVP this year)
W videos ideas
absolutely disrespectful that you don't mention Saquon's season this year next to Lamar's
Cowboys fan from Dallas, Ontario Canada
18 Mahomes at number 5 is crazy
Aaron Rodgers should be 15, 14, 13, & 12 on this list. He absolutely should not have even won the award in 2020 and 2021 because Mahomes and Brady (or even Cooper Kupp) were far more deserving. Having Rodgers at 1 is a ridiculous joke. That would be the same Rodgers who couldn't even win a single playoff game, or beat a sub .500 team led by Kyle Orton, wouldn't it? So much for valuable. Rating him ahead of guys who actually won playoff games (let alone the Super Bowl) is just flat out absurd.
As a Rodgers hater, I think you're forgetting that MVP is a *regular* season award...
2013 manning is better than any madden season ive ever had. Video game numbers
10:03 it was those percs 😂 my guy
The thumbnail looks like Matt Ryan is being held at gun point, and I think Peyton Manning might be the one holding the gun
From Cape Breton, Nova Scotia!
That is why I’m a packers fan. (Been that way my whole life and I’m 16 so don’t come at me about being a bandwagon)
You're the definition of a bandwagon fan 😂🤡 very convenient that you're a "fan" of one of the most successful teams in NFL history, gtfo 🤣
peyton 13 season is #1 no question
Moving to Vancouver within the year where I belong!
You’re on drugs if you genuinely believe Lamar’s 19 MVP was better than 18 mahomes
Lamar this year was 85 rush yards away from having 4k passing 1k rushing.
His heisman campaign at Louisville he had 4k rush yards and 1k rush yards and it was great in college
The mofo was this close to doing it in the pros wtf
Baltimore isn't a 1 man offense this year, you are forgetting the king
Guys have lost their reading comprehension. It says Lamar in 2019 not 20024 as no one has won map yet
Im from toronto id love that card
Bro 22 Mahoney over Newton is Wild
One man offense for Lamar this year???? Naw, #2 rushing in Derrick Henry. You got Zay Flowers on there as well. No dude, not a one man offense.
from Nova Scotia just trying to get a will clapp jersey

calling the 2024 ravens a one man offense is one of the worst takes ever
