I used to drive a 1.2 htp 12v, it made all the noise you could ever want, with none of the performance you would need
Don t get me wrong, it was pretty quick for an old stock 1.2 (3 cylinder engine)...but not worth modifying and not as fast as you would ve wanted it to be

I love my Fabia VRS daily. Only upgraded the brakes, suspension and roll bars. If the engine shits I may treat it to a slightly bigger turbo and one of your heads. Don’t really want to open that can of worms though as my toy is a built G40.

@@joshstrom2791 hp is about top end, end of the rev range. The torque is acceleration and diesel torque is high. a45 loses drive train hp and once up and running a front or rear drive car running the same hp with be quicker.
So I suggest waking up a little and to not be so dismissive. 230 hp and 350lbs is not to be sniffed at in a light fr wheel drive car. Plus what a45 does he mean? Because it would keep up with an early one easy. A new one not so easy especially.

Depends a lot on use.... 300HP properly tuned that you commute in daily with a few street pulls? No sweat. Try race it and you'll end up with a repair cost thats MUCH higher than the cost to throw some decent brand headstuds in it preemptively, its fairly cheap insurance all things considered.
