Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu Anumodana. It was lovely to see Ajahn on Wednesday. Thank you LP Achalo for this teaching, and wonderful volunteers for uploading this video. 功德无量!!! (classic oft-used Chinese Buddhist phrase for "immeasurable merit") 🪷🪷🪷
Reference to person from UAE wanting to enter monkhood there maybe a way for him to say to practice meditation at Threvada international monasteries in California or places like Goenka or International Meditation Centres worldwide Permission to enter monkhood permanently is required from family first but to enter for say 7 or nr of days is not required from family Pls check and contact monasteries in countries outside UAE
Hello again, actually I would like to express my gratitude for your insightful guidance, which has given me much to reflect on regarding my aspiration to enter monkhood. While I am eager to pursue this path, my current obligations to my mother and wife prevent me from doing so at this time. I am particularly interested in exploring the possibility of joining the monasteries we discussed. Given my need to navigate visa processes, I am concerned about potential challenges in entering countries such as the USA and others. If you have any insights on alternative options or specific monasteries that might accommodate these circumstances, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Additionally, I want to thank Ajahn for clarifying my options. I found his advice invaluable, particularly the suggestion to practice and uphold the precepts in this lifetime as a meaningful way to engage with my spiritual journey. Thank you once again for your support. Sadhu

There are a couple of Sri Lankan monasteries in UAE. There is one in Jumeirah called Mahamevanawa
Let’s catch up if you want. I’m also deep into the Buddhist tradition.
