What a great story of a real hero !!!
Absolutely Amazing !
NTRM thankyou for producing this film with English cc. I watched this movie last year on Netflix at least 6 times in a language I didn't understand a word of LOL. But words were not needed when the visual was so transparent. Norway is jaw dropping incredibly beautiful and so is this documentary
The word, " Hero ", is banded around all to easily these days. Well this man and all the brave Norwegians and Sami's and Swedish people, are worthy of the word, "Hero".
I hope to go to Manndalen next year to pay my respects to this quiet remarkable man. A True HERO.
I was at his grave yesterday, and today i was in his cave, it’s a lot of exercise walking there but it’s worth it!
RIP Jan Baalsrud 1917-1988
we need a english translation or subtitles please. love this
English subtitles are available: th-cam.com/video/eoiUG0x9yjc/w-d-xo.html
This story is the most amazing story of survival against all odds, I am amazed by this man's strength and courage and I'm so glad the people of Norway helped Jan Baalsrud along his perilous journey. Amazing man. Another Norwegian Max manus has a different but equally amazing story. The Norwegians really were prepared to put themselves through hell during WW2.
