My mechanic said "if you want to know what a truck look like when it came off the assembly line in 99 this is it" The best, cleanest truck he had ever seen.

I own a pretty immaculate ‘05 Diesel excursion and I would trade it for this without question. Absolute time capsule and as you said, it looks like a sub 5k mile vehicle. Amazing. Hope the new owner is keeping just as good care of it.
That's a beauty, and the fact it's a diesel, makes it even more rare. If only Chevy still offered the diesel engine in the 2500 Suburbans (and Yukon XL's if it was a GMC), they'd be competing with the Excursions of the time.
I have a 1998 GMC K2500 7.4 vortec 4x4 with 390,000 miles. Paint starting to fade now that I move it here to Oahu but it's in great condition. We didnt want the diesel because of too many issues we heard about the old gm deisels.I want to change the shocks now and were told to go with the 5100 Bilsteins..what is your recommendation

They are putting diesels in the new suburbans buy its the l6 duramax, i would much rather have the 6.6 v8 duramax in the new suburban
