Have driven along Thirlmere many times & seen the fell in the distance & until now didn't know much about it ! Some terrific views to be had overlooking Thirlmere & the surrounding fells. Drone footage was excellent especially of the crags. Some great shots of both Teddy & The Rockstar 🐕🐶 Tracey doing the map reading at the end of the vlog is very useful too ..❤ excellent walk Andy & gotta say I wish I had a full head of hair like ya..but it's not meant to be 😅😅keep on keeping on 🎉

Hey Andy, a great walk and what a lovely day to do it. Great filming, drone footage and editing. Great views and another one of yours to add to the list. My wife and myself were down the other end of Thirlmere last weekend doing Raven Crag and High Rigg which we enjoyed and also got the weather. I love that you are showing us non Wainwrights also so we get to see the less filmed areas which I enjoy and look forward to visiting. Tracey's map section is really useful, she does it so well and love that she is always smiling out on the fells on your films, you obviously share the passion together which certainly comes across. Loved it as usual pal. Take care

Thanks Steve very much appreciate mate...Thirlmere is a beautiful valley this walk probably my favourite in the area the Crags above Wyth Burn offer outstanding views and drama it's mostly off piste so you can really explore the edge as close as you dare as its very steep in places away from the edge holds no danger just a nice route up on to Ullscarf...another nice very quiet remote route is up Wyth Burn itself which eventually leads to Greenup Edge between High Raise and Ullscarf
Thanks for watching pal and my apologies for the late reply

Great walk Andy, thanks for sharing. Definately one to add to the to-do list next time we're in the lakes. Loving Tracy's map time; its a properly interesting and useful addition to the vid.

Best way up Ullscarf IMO, and the way I usually go Andy.
We've had some grand weather lately, I've kept out of the Lakes mind. Can't be doing with all them folk.
    TFS cheers Alistair

Hi Andy, what an interesting walk that was although it looked a toughie along the edge. I just had a look in the Wainwright books to see what he had to say about it. The views look very impressive. Ive just commented on Traceys video of Ard Crags and Knott Rigg as we are hoping to do that next week when weve booked a few days at Little Town Farm. Cant wait to be back in the fells again although we did do the School Knott area last weekend from Ings to get our legs working again. Cheers once again for the fabulous videos

No mate thankfully I fear if I'd lost it on them flights I'd have never seen it again 😱 had a friend flew his Drone over Scafell Pike the other day flight distance was over a mile and looked about 100 meters above the Summit almost in bloody space (haha braver man than me)
      Thanks for watching Robert
