Interesting to note what some drivers do when driving away from the crossing after the train has gone thru, in a legal sense the driver should not proceed until the red lights have stopped flashing and most just charge off when the booms are high enough, now I couldn’t give a toss what other drivers do but I wonder how many are ignorant of the fact that there are red light cameras installed at some level crossings and increasing and I wouldn’t take a chance anyway for this reason and also the cops can be in an unmarked car anyway, there’s more than likely no cameras on that tourist railway anyway but I’d rather keep the dollars in my wallet also the points on my licence
