yes i know sometimes is difficult understand native people, but you need to hear more English natives speaker with differents accents, people from australia, irish, canada, europe.
One thing led to another we say it in algerian informal as حاجة تجيب لخرى حتى turn around it دوك ندور عليها نديرها take things as they come '' كيما جات تجي ' We have similarities :-)

You can also use "get round to it" before a verb, but it has to be followed by -ing form, and in this case, you don't have to write "it", for example: -I haven't got round to watching the movie you sent, but I'll do it soon. -I haven't got round to doing my homework yet, but I'll do it later. If you don't write -ing form after "to", it is incorrect. Cheers from Mexico!!
