This recording of Karen Danapas Stanton singing Suffer the Children was taken from an audiotape made many years ago. That explains why it does not have the sound of a professional studio recording. But it is still very beautiful and valuable to me. The vintage photos are from old negatives that I bought at an estate sale 10-15 years ago. The seller did not know anything about the negatives. These negatives (made positive) chronicle the life journey of a family during the early 1900's from before when the first child was born through the years when the six children are grown. There are even some photos showing the grandchildren. From the photos, it is easy to see that these children were well loved! I estimate that the oldest child was born around 1912. There are hundreds of negatives in the lot which made it difficult to choose which ones to put in the video.
