What makes Christian Von Koenigsegg so awesome, like he needed a reason to be even more awesome, he doesn’t lock away the inner mechanical workings of this Swedish mega-hyper-sports-car. It’s straight art baby!
In addition to loving watching your videos, seeing these posters of Senna fills me with pride. As a Brazilian, I am very happy to see this legend being honored whenever possible. 👏👏
Excellent video James, as always! It's awesome to see your partner's second Regera (7212) up close. Given that you already gave us an up-close look at his other Regera (7150) in the Chronicles of Koenigsegg series, this really allows us to compare his two Regeras and see their little differences. They are both amazing specs!
Where should you go? Well, the obvious answer is back to Switzerland, to that 1 of 1 garage/ car showroom/ man cave! But, maybe that's too predictable? So, I wanna see that Koenigsegg on one of the best driving roads anywhere... and OGs of the channel know exactly to what I'm referring when I say, 'Red Rock Road'! That iconic highway just outside of Monaco, that you delighted us viewers with, James, so many moons ago - when you had to 'lead' a fair few super/ hypercars on a bit of a drive. That would be fun!
This is the ultimate hypercar, pure art in design both inside and out, phenomenal tech, love the luxurious interior and it’s not noisy at all- the complete package, beats the Pagani hands down although that’s also a beautiful looking car
Honestly: "Picture a Tesla and add the verocity of a V8". that is the most accurate and believable and actually cathartic description of flooring a Koenigsegg. For those of us that will never even see one in real life. That is actually fathomable as a lot of us will have the chance to try a Tesla. I have, and therefore I can actually envision and imagine what you mean. Which is the closest I will come to experiencing a Koenigsegg, so thank you :)
I can see just looking at it a way to make those air core wheels. Quite impressive how they came up with that. Depending on how obsessed they got being renewable about it, core removal is either messy or like taking apart a 3D puzzle. Neat.
I bet the Regera is an awesome grand tourer. Roof off, headed down to the South of France, maybe Monaco? Imagine driving that on the "Red Rock Road" or the D2....
I mean this car is a WORK OF ART! what i like about Koenigsegg is everything is made by them and the Michelin tyres work with the company. Like if you look at the aston martin valkyrie, too much down force the tyres cant handle it whereas koenigsegg has taken it another step further by working with Michelin to deal with the speed and downforce!, that is the difference in attention to detail
To me, Koenigsegg is the best hypercar brand there is and possibly EVER. I mean these cars have the most horsepower there is along with lots of thorough engineering to maximize a car’s speed, handling, and appearance. Don’t get me wrong these cars are mostly built for top speed, but even for going around the track they’re pretty good. 😎
Its no wonder the price of the Regera has quadrupled in just 4 years. Only 80 made and this car ticks all boxes - record speed, record thrust, outlandish looks, tricked out, luxury, convertible, easy to drive
The only car I can think to compare this to is a Chiron maybe? It’s the only other hyper-car that doubles as a luxury gt. Someone should do a comparison video if they could get ahold of both…
Originally they were planning to have some decent e-only range with 700 hp. Pretty quick for any supercar. Then Rimac supposedly came up with a lighter battery that had less total capacity and they gave up on the e-only driving. For GT driving, perhaps a bit of a shame? Personally I wish they'd manage to make it AWD at that weight, since there is no dual clutch gearbox. Porsche 918 offered both, but arguably half the power.
I think the perfect road trip would have to be trip up to, and tour around Rotherham! Just let me know when, so I can prepare myself not to geek out too much when I see it about.
Nice job on the spec. Looks fitting to me. Not crazy about that neutral color on the suspension bits though. It reads earth tone to me, which doesn't seem to fit the overall color theme. I think Alumibeam (sp?) or gunsmoke powder coat would look better for a standard color.
I hope both Production Bunker Regeras will be driven in a road trip to its home at the factory, Sweden, when you are (I really hope you are) invited to test drive a Jesko in very near future. I think that will be a very iconic road trip.
This is it then. Absolutely stunning. Wonder what a Aston Martin /// koenigsegg would look like. A koenigsegg Regera dipped in the colorschemes of a Aston Martin. Even a Osloblue variant with subtitle details of AMR green could work. Hmm
I don’t think the wheels are a single piece of carbon, I think they’re many layers of carbon that are bonded together using the autoclave, how they make them that strong and light is black magic
This company is my absolute dream! These detailed solutions are simply unmatched. But what intrigues me: There is yes behind the license plate the possibility to charge the batteries. Do you have to? Or are they also charged while driving?
What's the issue with that track? Not enough road bed? It reminds me of bike paths - very bumpy. They are nice for a cruise but something you'd never want to compound miles on while pedaling a performance bike.

this made me sad
Koenigsegg is the pinnacle of performance car manufacturing. Incredible.
They are top notch motors. But I prefer the pagani interiors.
@@russcooke5671 thats the only thing going for them honestly
@@clkgtr12really what colours your pagani interior?

This is by far the classiest automotive channel on TH-cam. Thanks for the amazing content.
The true definition of a gentleman driver
Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed 👊🏼
“Endlessly cool”- well said!
In addition to loving watching your videos, seeing these posters of Senna fills me with pride. As a Brazilian, I am very happy to see this legend being honored whenever possible. 👏👏
Such a beautiful car and just sounds amazing. Love your videos great content.
Reminds me of a Transformer vehicle.

His partner has 2 Regeras?
@John Pruett lmao
luv this spec so much -- especially the dry/ wet carbon combo.. and the paint choices are on point, with the just right am out of orange
*Been following this channel since well before 100k subs...so cool to see how far you've come...always pumping out great content!*
Who doesn't love orange and blue. What a great combo...so classy. James brings us another awesome car. A moving piece of art.
That direct drive its truly genius - along with the power to weight - its a masterpiece of enginering

The build quality is insane😎👍👍

Christian is a design genius I mean the quality is just exceptional 👌🏽 😎
Ultimate Ultimate Ultimate machine..
The alpha and omega
that spec is spot on, lovely blue

One can only dream of a Regera road-trip video.
Perfect proportions in every area.

Love the color scheme, absolutely amazing.
The details on this car is unmatched by any car makers. Both mechanically and aesthetically. It’s not even close.
One of the best Car Builder ever👍😅
im super early love the Koenigsegg videos specially the factory tour and the Jesko... this Regera looks amazing
The first time I saw a picture of an Egg with it's doors open I thought that company had no chance. I'm proud to have eaten my words. Love Them!!
Well well well. I love the sound that is. Perfect art, perfect engineering 👌
Swedes know how to do these things well 😂
Thats only until you have to move with your ikea furniture

Such a insane machine 🔥🔥
Words do not convey my feelings about Christian 's creations ✌️👌😁
This car leaves you speechless just seeing it on the screen...
Beautiful machine and a GREAT video content!
How close was that rear to the wall at the beginning 😱
My heart skipped a beat when it passed, ouch...
The only car I can think to compare this to is a Chiron maybe? It’s the only other hyper-car that doubles as a luxury gt. Someone should do a comparison video if they could get ahold of both…
such a special machine 👏
James, take that beauty to the Nurgburgring.
You should work for Koenigsegg, one can sense your love and appreciation for the brand.
At 12 seconds, although I knew it wouldn’t touch the wall, I was perspiring 😅

The Gemera does all what you want.
The regera is still a plug-in hybrid, but it only has around 20-25km of EV range.
You know it's special when you get the giddy kiddy laugh out of a grown man
😅
I think the perfect road trip would have to be trip up to, and tour around Rotherham! Just let me know when, so I can prepare myself not to geek out too much when I see it about.
really lovely video!
Love Koenigsegg they are a cool company and just about every car they make is crazy.
Out of all the ones I’ve seen, this is by far my favorite color scheme
Beautiful, stunning. The sound from that engine is amazing.
Shame I’m not a billionaire
Go from the UK to Artic circle Sweden Kiruna Now that be a road trip
So cool, love all koenigsegg's, as a ex Military Aircraft Technician, what former airbase is that Mr JWW
Best Egg for me is definately Regera...I would take it over Jesko, Gemera or CC850 in a second 😎
Road trip, anywhere in the Southwest USA! How about the Nevada Silver State open road race. Texas has one too.
Awesome content as always Mr JWW! Would love to sit in let alone drive a Koenigsegg 😍😎
Other than those super sexy swiss roads in the alps, and the great tarmac in Dubai, a cruise to Monte Carlo seems appropriate.
its awesome seeing a car ive worked on
Rolls and Skoda: Umbrella.
Rivian: Torch.
Koenigsegg: Yes.
Cool car and nice video thank's !
Awesome ⚡️🤍⚡️
I suggest a road trip to a high speed circuit, like Monza or even Silverstone, closer to home.
Egg polished carbon is divine.
4? As in 4k? Damn that´s awesome, now i can afford myself a Regera 😁
Nice job on the spec. Looks fitting to me.

You should come see my favorite driving roads! California; MY way.
Cool that not only do you get to see cars that most people won’t, but that you get to mob some of those cars too. Color me jelly.

One hell of a car. Nice color could be a sky blue just not on earth. True overall get cars because you love them not for investment purposes only
I don’t think the wheels are a single piece of carbon, I think they’re many layers of carbon that are bonded together using the autoclave, how they make them that strong and light is black magic
Like a single mold. How they achieve this, know idea
Do you think they lie??
It's a lovey looking car and i like carbon fibre body and the paint work. A very nice car and a lot of money
Every time I see one of these it reminds me to work a little bit harder
senna and hamilton on background😁
I can't wait to see them make a 100% EV car
Some people prefer Bugatti, some prefer the Egg’s, I prefer both. No need to separate amazing things ( obviously i could only have them in a dream )
What is the difference between Koenigsegg's Triplex suspension and the DeDion suspension ?
Jeez, pretty damn close to the door frame on the pirouette.
Absolutely gorgeous car.
This company is my absolute dream! These detailed solutions are simply unmatched. But what intrigues me: There is yes behind the license plate the possibility to charge the batteries. Do you have to? Or are they also charged while driving?
Work of art
Great car nice video
koenigsegg is on next level
*I have 2 koenigsegg regera and 2 jesko! Also 2 bugatti chiron super sport and 2 bugatti divo*
I want to see a video of someone taking a Koenigsegg around the Ring
Carwow drag race please
There’s a video showing how Koenigsegg makes the hollow carbon fibre the wheels !
I think koenigsegg and Porsche are the only ones to actually make the brake's inhouse
Midnight sky blue
Such a nice spec…
Spaceship 😭😭❤
What a beast 💪
Holy 💩 🔥 that’s fast 😳😳
What's the issue with that track? Not enough road bed?
It reminds me of bike paths - very bumpy. They are nice for a cruise but something you'd never want to compound miles on while pedaling a performance bike.
16:03 m that laugh😂😂 👌
Rolls Royce: our cars have a built-in umbrella!
Rivian: our cars have a built-in torch!
Koenigsegg: amateurs...
Awesome sports car.
You forgot to park it in my garage after the shoot. Next time, we’re gonna have a problem.
dolomites would be awsome road trip
