The dog poisoning mysetery, the person watching them, the person who was in dudenoffs apartment the first time they went there. All of this should've been explained in the finale. The Westies, charles sister and all of the guest stars deserved to play a bigger role in the end. The episode also felt a little short. Too many loose ends but no main change in the final episode except the buildup for season 5 which fortunately was handled perfectly
Ngl, I shed a couple of tears when Charles went out on the ledge. Cause he was doing his own stunt. The first time he did own stunt. And he did it for Sazz. He tapped in.
And when Charles and Oliver, talked to Lester while going to save Mable he told them he was married in that courtyard, with only the stars and fountain as a witness.
I feel like the husband is in hiding from her. If anyone knew where the husband was if he was in hiding inside the building (possibly its secret passages), it would be Lester. I wouldn't admit to seeing a doorman if I killed them either 😂. Either way, I really think Lesters death is in connection to the husband's disappearance. I don't think that he died and I feel he is in hiding there. Maybe the husband killed Lester when he saw Sophia to keep his secret from her? 🤔
Did anyone else notice that when Charles and Oliver talked to Lester while going to save Mable he told them he was married in the courtyard with only the fountain and stars as witnesses.
I agree with you. It was a great episode but it lacked something. Where is the police detective? Where is the gun she had gotten from the trio? Where is Sazz's phone. Nothing about the murder who lives in the building. Uma always seems to pop up during crucial moments. Lots more to think about. I enjoyed this season but hope next season gives us more clues.
She mentions in one episode that the FBI had taken over the investigation so it makes sense that she wouldn’t be there for the end of it. The gun is likely in evidence, and Marshall had Sazz’s phone. That’s how he knew Glen was awake when the nurse called; and the “Big Bad” who’s been after them since Season 1 hasn’t been revealed yet
@@cobrakaier238 Sazz included all the Westie stuff in the first draft of her script using information she got from Helga who, along with the rest of the Westies, got the door code from Dudenoff himself.
I think that's sort of pointing to the difference between theatre/Broadway and Hollywood and the writers seem like they did it on purpose since one was homage to Broadway and other homage to LA/ movie making. Season one homage to who dunit, season 2 homage to true crime podcast and horror movies with darker stuff and season 5 might be homage to like Sopranos and other mob city type movies. But that's just my pov
No it was so good I DONT underrdtand. Season 3 was BORING. Literally it was just focused on the drama. This season, CHILLING, SCARY, FUN, FUNNY, AND AMAZING. Sure there could have been a counterpart revealed but like bruh that’s why there’s season 5 to look forward to sooo like stop ur COMPLANING.
Well it was definitely a bit of a throw back to seasons 1 and 2 in it's messiness and assuming you're there for the quirky characters and not the plot. Especially in the sense of the thrown backs to season one that they didn't follow through on and then 'adding' something (duddenoffs apartment and the westies) pulled out of hat to try to justify Marshall's being there to shoot Sazz. And how did Marshall know Sazz would be going into Charles apartment alone..?
I agree with you. Very anti-climatic ending. I wish they focused more on Sazz like the first few episodes and uncovered piece by piece that she wrote the script. There was too much focus on Dudenhoff and that kind of lost me. Plus the ending was just an exposition dump and then Jan Ex-machina did not make much sense. They could have built it up or gave hints. Anyways not a great season. For me its just above Season 2. I am keen for Season 5 though but I hope the writing and the mystery gets better and they actually show the trio actually doing investigations for the podcast.
I think a big reason why it feels like there's a big reveal missing is Sazz's phone. Like it clearly wasn't Marshall who sent them the "I'm watching you" note, right? I feel like they used this season to set up the long game (maybe because they've finally figured out the last details of that) and thus a lot of the investigation also was used as setup. Maybe it's just inconsistency but there's still also one camera in Oliver's apartment, right? I'm really excited for next season though because i think a lot of what feels like it's still missing in this one will be explored over the hopefully multiple next seasons. I am fairly certain we'll at least get a 6th season and end the 5th one with kinda a bigger reveal of what is going on with a 6th one then being about going after the big bad? We'll see.
I don’t agree, I think it was a good finale. I liked how they did it with the cliffhanger and the explanation. In a previous video you asked why Marshall would steer the trio towards two killers if it was about him, and this ended up steering them away from him and looking for a duo. I liked that we saw Sazzs side this episode with her thinking about becoming a writer and the clues being her diving feeling into season one for her script. I thought it was gorgeous Charles waiting for Sazz on the ledge only for Oliver to “tap in” and lovely seeing the sons and Winnie at the wedding. I thought next season Lester would be the killing through the season, I did NOT expect him to be the victim. I still think he might be the sixth avenue slasher and someone caught up to him! Can’t wait
I agree. There was so much going on this season that the finale felt like a Bond villain explaining the plot. I do love this show and the Sazz connection to Charles was really touching. Ultimately, it's hard to stick the landing. I will be back. I miss Sazz tho.
I feel like the reveal was underwhelming. I really liked all the Sazz stuff but I didn’t really care for the Westies and think it could of been left out
I can’t believe this show has been consistently better and better. Whoever wrote this show are amazing and very dedicated. This has been one of the best shows so far for me and my husband. Especially they never bored me with making us guess who the killer is. After 3 seasons I thought it was easy to get now because the killer were always at the last episode but then this seasons order were all different. We never could guess that was the Asian writer. No wonder why he kept being brought back here and there after “his episode “
The show went nowhere taking us on a wild goose chase. Going to Charles sister's house cuz they were in danger yet went back to the building despite being in danger. Who wrote I'm Watching You???
@@BrainPilot The dog poisoning mysetery, the person watching them, the person who was in dudenoffs apartment the first time they went there. All of this should've been explained in the finale. I feel that they deflated all the tension after coming back to the Arconia after "I am watching you" messages which weren't addressed I don't think Rex was that obsessed about watching or making veiled threats if he wanted to fly under the radar . Legit a plot point that was heightened and then left like nothing happened. I love only murders, it was a fun season but so many moments of tension were just dropped just to keep going. Like you also stated the westies could have played a bigger role in the second half of the season. I know this is a nitpicky point, but with all the tempering with evidence, using luminal on Charles' floor and asking the detective about Dudenoff's serial number on his left shoulder real police wouldn't just dropped it like "oh if you say so it's not a big deal." or tampering with evidence there would be a response from whomever is investigating Sazz's murder. Donna is only a relevant plot device to the show to connect a plot point which was very evident this season, cause without her the trio couldn't find themselves out of a plotline. And I feel that Mabel and Charles would think that it was off that Lester wasn't there when the lady pointed it out that he wasn't there. The formula for seasons shouldn't be the trio ignores or undermines someone and then that is the person that gets murdered so let's now care enough to solve their murder. I really enjoyed the unpacking of Charles and Sazz's relationship throughout the season especially with it ending with her sitting in the writer's chair. But, This season left way more questions that we should already have answers to: - What about Bev being in the New Jersey lot? why? No one else seemed to know about that besides a few people (which totally contradicts the whole only person who would know about the script plot line). What about the gun? - What about Mabel's offer for holding out special or secretive? If she was going to get big money off the movie, and seemingly them being a successful podcast why is she swamped in money issues to have to settle living with the westies (not that she can't, but she suspects them of being murderers just doesn't make sense) - Why is Jan out and about and there are no serious ongoing searches for her? Oh cause she needed to be the one to take out Rex? (by now you would think the police would be aware of the secret pathways after solving Bunny's murder) - Who didn't want the Only murder's film to be made? Why? - Are they just gonna overlook the westie's cashing in the checks? Cause they have witnesses and camera footage and a literal podcast "don't worry he's just in Portugal!". - How does Howard know where Charles' sister live? If Charles barely mentioned his sister because of their bad relationship. ( I honestly thought her husband being a cop would play a more significant point) - Who was leaving the "I am watching you" threats to them? How did they have a central command for monitoring them? - Why are they not worried about their safety after the one filler episode? My thoughts are random so please excuse it. Some legit questions other's just points that don't make sense. It just feels that the show as the season's progress want to raise the stakes just to throw them off the table. It's not a giant leap in logic that someone would go to school on the east coast and moving to LA to try to make it. Rex's desire to be a writer could have tied him to being a student in Dudenoff's class and his apartment if he held a party for his students there or even wanted to have a one on one with him (he could have felt sorry that his dad looked down on him and wanted him to have the support in being a writer not that he may have been a good one). Potentially years after the sister brother's being in his class, seeing the trio in Charles' apartment knowing where potentially Sazz could be to talk to Charles or seeing Dudenoff putting in the code for his door after greeting him. A lot of Rex's knowledge relied so heavily on Sazz's research, he didn't even bother to know the character's he tried passing off as his own what makes me think he took any consideration of what Sazz already knew? I am sure Ron Ron probably doesn't want his shoes back now haha
i think the season was overstuffed just to get as many cameos in as possible, especially the sister thing since it went nowhere, but i think the finale was good
Hot take- I think this season and it's finale was actually a little better than last season's overall. I would argue that it had decent action and brought a lot of things to a relatively good conclusion, and tried to tie up a lot (probably too many) plots and characters. I do think there are a lot of holes in this season with the phone and cameras, but also a lot of the holes mentioned from season 1 still haven't been fully resolved and there are a few things on Sazz's desk that haven't been fully explained either like the golf tournament card that said "long game". Idk - I'm still really excited for next season and thought this season had a lot of good cliff hangers.
I love this show so much! It jumped into my top 10 all time. I laugh, cry, and get surprised almost every episode. This season was great and really brought the show to a new level. Like most shows I hope that they don’t go a season too long. I feel like season 5 would be a great send off and wrap to an amazing and story and series
I like how the creators poke fun at these internet/youtube sleuths/theoriest by making fun of how Loretta is about to die but in the end she's not hahahhahahahaha
I'm atleast satisfied since s4 was better than s3. Last season was kinda off. The trio going in 3 different ways, it wasn't pleasing. Atleast in this season they worked together. First 2 seasons are still my favourite. I miss the killer reveal party
I absolutely agree with you that this season was a let-down. It seems to me that this season was more about "fun" and less about "mystery." The "hill that I'm still dying on" is that Sazz is NOT dead. There's still a "timing" problem on Murder Night. The timing between Sazz leaving the after-party & going to Charles' apartment, and the Trio arriving/experiencing the black-out still doesn't line-up with Marshall shooting Sazz, walking on the ledge to the East Tower, watching Sazz die/pass out, dump Sazz in the trash bin, go to the basement to burn Sazz body, and clean up the apartment. My thinking is Marshall did NOT ever go to the basement; and that raises the question of Who turned-on the incinerator? My theory is Sazz did not die in Charles' apartment. Marshall believed Sazz dead, and threw her body in the trash bin. But, Sazz stumbled out of trash bin, turned on the incinerator to provide a clue for the Trio, and somehow made it to her Stuntman property. That's why Bev Melon was there, to visit Sazz/help recover. I think we're going to continue to wrap-up the Sazz shooting next season; and the Tea Leoni/Sophia mystery will dovetail with the mysteries of Sazz shooting AND Lester's death. Whew! That's a lot: I hope the OMITB writers are listening. 😃
I totally agree they did NOT play this one straight and just threw in stuff at the end like the my dad made me a hunter and I knew about Dudenoff Westies because Sazz had this side story I edited out and I decided to snipe Ben in case he figured it out in the dark in a crowded room!?! And shot Sazz in Charles's apartment by luck because I missed the chance on the street and carry a fireproof vest that is falling apart with me for the fun of it to murder Sazz just in case I need to run through fire and incinerated her because I got idea from Dudenoff and oh NO Police Det. Williams in last Episode ? WHY. So we got that Jan would be a hero and my kid got that Lester would be next victim like episode 5 or so when there were tons of is Lester a serial killer theories and we were like nope but if he is victim we get to finally see his backstory and people from season 1 as suspects again maybe. We knew Marshall was sus but thought he had split personality and the good one didn't really know what bad one was doing or it was a bit more layered and not so hang a lantern on it convoluted rushed Hollywood writing, which it turned out to be sadly. Not running theories next season because this season I wasted time thinking it was a real mystery where clues were being given fully enough and straight to explain why Sazz wrote instead of doing her stuntman park...they saved all important details for the big baddie monologue. We expect better😢
I LOVE THIS SEASON! i think the shows does well of balancing the elements of unanswered questions and utilising plot holes from the previous one really well. It's not mind-blowing by any means but it also gives me emotional connection with Sazz and the its theme of *the movie consists of 100 of crews (forgive me for quoting it wrong hahah)* and got to see other new characters introduced to the viewers. While things seems a but sparse, it shows how the characters are connected in some way via Dudenoff which essentially the theme of the movie crews and how interconnected the people re. Rex getting shot for me is the perfect ending because its how he got killed the same way as his victim. I think this season captivates me much more than the previous one. Plus the set up for season 5 really really makes me looking forward to more stories. With multiple things left unanswered it doesn't feel like they will run out of ideas anytime soon.
I have a feeling season 5 will be good if not too kitschy and mob parody with all the cameos. It might bring back Big Mike Doreen's hubby. Hopefully we get to see a lot more of Det. Williams! But I get a feeling this will be the last season for ALL three in the trio. I worry one or two will be off after 5 and might only be victim so in less scenes. Too many other opportunities for Selena and the guys aren't getting any younger, though this show helps keep them young I bet.
I was weirdly expecting a dramatic reveal involving the sauce family since out of all the westies those 3 were the least looked into. Like seriously what's their actual last name, why are they always making sauces, and for the love of all things holy and clean WHAT IS UP WITH THAT PORK IN THE SHOWER?!?!?!?!?
@ it was ok but this whole season was all over the place. All the filler episodes and then a disappointing conclusion. They could have spent the season really building up the mob stuff and just done more in general
Loved the season and the finale. It wasn't two people who killed but 1 person pretending to be two person. It was awesome. The finale with the wedding was a joyful scene after the saddest death of sazz which was this season
I can understand why you feel the way you feel about Marshal’s death but the reason he died is because this season is the Scream 3 season. It builds up the film meta aspects of Scream 3, the one killer dupe (without the bad plot holes), but most importantly… a lost tragic figure. Someone who has been built up to be awful by his environment. Roman in Scream 3 for mommy issues and Marshal for his father calling him a killer. That’s why the death scene is so crucial.
This is so anticlimactic I really thought it wasn’t Rex because it felt like it was mutiple people but no. Now we want to know who killed Lester? With another case that can and hopefully will go into the weridness that was happening in the building cause we still don’t know who was after the trio
I respectfully disagree! I LOVED the writing this season! Season 3 was underwhelming/too simple for me but this one really experimented with different ways of storytelling, named the episodes intentionally. Truly, everyone felt like a suspect and got a real spotlight (i feel like I got to know each of the suspects well). And we got like two mysteries in one. I think to keep the theme twins and doubles then surprise us with a single murderer is smart. Because everyone was expecting twins. I do hope they continue to include the Westies and Detective Donna (the detective should have came back for some things). They are so much fun. All that to say - this season has restored my faith in the show
I really thought they were finally going to reveal who poisoned Winnie and who left the ominous note on Jan’s door. They referenced it in one episode (I forgot which) and it’s the same ominous message that was sent to Mabel, Oliver, and Charles. I completely forgot about that ever happening because it was glanced over and long ago, but they brushed it under the rug again this season after bringing it up! That would have been a really cool call back and conclusion to season 1, especially since Jan was literally back in the building this season haha! I don’t know, this guy wasn’t threatening. He was definitely crazy and had a gun, but that jump off the wall to block Mabel from leaving was real goofy😂
Yeah an arrest would’ve been a lot more satisfying. Showing his father that he really was a failed writer but also I agree that the Jan plot line was really shoehorned in and felt like a dumb ending. If the writers didn’t want the trio to “hurt” or capture him then the other tenants of the building could’ve banded together to help and bring him down, to wrap up how good of people they really were and how the trio are “part of their group” or friends now
every killer got what they deserved. jan got arrested. Poppy/bunny fired/arrested/humiliated (the 2 of season 3 where not special enough for me to remember there names.) Marshell/rex GOT KILLED AND I THINK HE DESERVED IT BECAUSE HE WAS NOT FIT FOR A REDEMPTION ARC STAY AWAY FROM SAZZ. So I hope our killer of Lester will suffer rip our favorite doorman 😭
My questions: How did sazz no about dudenoff apartment? If sazz was in the dudenoff apartment, she'd have interacted with the westies. They didn't seem to know her. Why? Why did rex/ Marshall help the trio in between?
I'm thinking Lesters death is connected to the missing/dead husband. I'msure Lester would know a lot about that if it really had something to do with the building, as Sofia stated. I feel the husband or someone very close to that mystery saw Sofia and freaked out, so they killed Lester to keep what he knew safe before she could see him. There are a lot of secret passages for someone to hide inside, like possibly her husband who is possibly in hiding from a killer or even her? She seemed a bit sketch. I just hope Oliver doesnt go to NZ and is helping them via video chat or something the entire time.
I disagree I think Jan killing him was great she still cares about Charles even in her most deranged way. But I wish it had more than one person involved in the killing of Sazz and also wanted to have seen more the Westies and the Brother Sisters( I wish one of them had helped Marshall in Sazz murder) and also wish they had shown who knocked in Dudenoff apartment when Mabel was there one episode and who was in Sazz apartment in LA when the trio was there. I think we are meant to think it was Marshall but I think it would have been more interesting if they had showed it.
Part 2 comment I think what made this season good is though a lot of questions was answered a lot weren’t and we still have questions that need to be answered
My bet is that: 1) Lester was the big bad and someone (the missing husband?) discorvered it and killed him 2) Other way around. Lester played the detective or as a doorman he knew who was the big bad or at least he knew something. + Uma is hella sus seeming like she came from murdering someone AND she never liked the trio maybe accusing them for all the murders that happened in the building. It's their podcast that caused all of these murders past season 1
I didn't like the ending that much. They had way better episodes this season. I wish they wrote more clues and hints that Holly, I mean Jan was still on Charles apartment. Also, WHERE WAS THE DETECTIVE IN THE END!?!?!?!?! Also, Lester being found in the open like that is a no.
What about the cameras? The “I’m watching you” texts? How did he know Saz would even be in Charles’s apartment at that time, or at all? This season was not wrapped up very well at all.
I have questions.....LOL Who was in Sazz’ apartment when the trio was there? We assume Rex, but never confirmed, or why he would have been there as he already had stolen the script. What do the numbers 11, 13, 26, 14, 86 mean? Why are 2 of them crossed out? Shooter is in Dudenoff apt when the twins say they were in the apartment all that night as well? Where did the shooter get his gun having flown a red eye to NY the night before? But didn’t have it when supposedly walking the ledge to get to Sazz. Why did he have the fireproof vest with him in his bag when rushing to fly overnight to eliminate Sazz? He had zero need for it and never used it. Where did Jan get a gun and why is she such a great shot, and how did she shoot him through a blind that was closed? How did she see him? Who put the cameras in the apartments from early in season 1? And why aren’t the trio worried about this or looking into it? Someone was watching them all this time? Who called in to Lestor about the hole in the window? Why don’t the trio have the detective find out who owns the number of the person “watching them” and/or trace location of the cell phone used? Who shot at Oliver and his doubles since Rex was in the room with them and no way had time to get to the other building on the other side? Literally about a minute and half from when we last see him in background. Why did Sazz have a gun? How did Bev know about her planned school site? And you can’t use the ledge to get all the way around the bldg. at the blue/grayish windows because the ledge ends on either side of them, and they are in several places.
I loved this season, more than season 3 (mainly because I liked the dark themes and the fact that the trio focused on the investigation more!) but I do agree. There were so many laugh out loud funny moments and beautiful, sweet moments for the characters but the killer reveal was a bit disappointing and anti-climactic with many questions left unanswered. Still loved it!
Season overall was good but not the best i still love S1, its what got me hooked. This episode seemed quite disjointed though, the transitions from scene to scene felt abit weird like we had a whole wedding and a movie being filmed etc etc. Felt like it was rushed and we didnt focus on any one thing for very long. Kept jumping around.
Like you, I thought the season 4 finale was a good episode, but lacking this crescendo seasons 2 and 3's finales had hit. This finale felt more like a setup for the next season.
So was the question of who has been watching them from the beginning answered? Was it the Westies? Or is that still a plot thread they're just gonna leave dangling...
Ok....let's see how the writers will make it believable that someone killed and dropped lester in the middle of the courtyard on a bright sunny day with no one seeing them
I was totally underwhelmed because they did NOT play this one straight and just threw in stuff at the end like the my dad made me a hunter and I knew about Dudenoff Westies because Sazz had this side story I edited out and I decided to snipe Ben in case he figured it out in the dark in a crowded room!?! We knew Marshall was sus and probably didn't have Sazz's phone or set up cameras and never ertite the im wastching note or the end the oidcast so thats for season 5 snd still wondering if Sazz hid cameras or Lester since we saw famous actors doing the pre Jan date conversation that Sazz never knew about but now we have more questions than answers and the answers we got were rushed and weird and messy! We thought Rex had split personality and the good one/ twin didn't really know what bad one was doing or it was a bit more layered and not so hang a lantern on it convoluted rushed Hollywood writing, which it turned out to be sadly. I'm Not running theories next season because this season I wasted good time and energy thinking it was a real mystery like orevious season or Magpie/Moonflower murders where clues were being given fully enough and straight to explain why Sazz wrote script snd knew things she shoukdnt have ans what the westies investigation was about, instead of doing her stuntman park...they saved all important details for the big baddie monologue. We expect better😢
Was Lester killed in the building because he was dead in the courtyard fountain. I can't wait another whole year to find out what happened in the series finale... Uggggggggghhhh....
Least favorite ending. Who placed cameras in all their apartments? (Can’t be Sazz since they had Mabel in new apartment) Marshall had Sazz’s phone and was tracking the trios phones?! How? Why didn’t trio watch Marshall’s improv night AKA his alibi? Did Marshall call Lester to fix bullet hole in Charle’s apartment??? Wasn’t there a mention of closing up secret passage ways? Why wouldn’t police look for Jan there after Charles told detective Williams she had been there? Where the hell does Jan get a sniper rifle?! What happened w/gun Bev found? Why did Rudy lie about Helga being an ex & neighbor girl confirmed w/‘crazy ex girlfriend’ if he supposedly lied on the cuff? Why was Helgas picture scratched out of Vince’s photo if Helga was the one to leave west tower? I think trying to fit in all the cameos really did a disservice to season. Kinda got sloppy & disconnected. So many ridiculous dead ends (no pun intended) between westies, brothers sisters, Bev, Doreen etc.
I didn’t watch the season finale because the episode before stated who the killer was and all the previous episodes left me so underwhelmed. I truly believe the main killer is Howard.
@ earlier on in the episode lester said a delivery had come for Oliver something called a chuppa I think and Oliver said to put it in his room so I think the killer was in his apartment hoping to kill Oliver as soon as he got in his door but accidentally killed lester and dumped him in the fountain just a little after the wedding
Also that delivery scene was one of the 2 scenes Lester was in the other is when he was found so something obviously happened from meeting Mabel Charles and Oliver about the delivery to after the wedding
@@yoandr not relevant but In the episode Lester also says he was married in the courtyard with the fountain as his witness under the stars and that is his good luck so maybe someone has done this in a sick game to toy with the trio
I agree with you. Because the season seemed to have so many suspects, I paid more attention to clues. So when episode nine revealed the killer, I thought no, it's a red herring!
The whole episode felt rushed I didn’t like how ended it with him explaining the whole thing in the apartment there was no big reveal that made me shocked that made me say oh that makes sense why it happened also he was the most predictable person to have killed sazs he was being so sus the whole season I did like the wedding it was cute. I already know that those unanswered plot wholes like the gun and sazs phone and why sazz was even looking into the west view tower if the murderer had nothing to do with it I think this season was just one big set up for season 5 which I am excited for
It was just totally not what I was thinking Yeah again I think that he wanted to be a writer like his favorite kids the kids writer that was an episode five5 you know winding it down Dumbo now totally the real idea what goes wrong with your act?
I have to agree with you this finale was kinda disappointed there's so much plot holes with this season. In season 2 we did get a big epic reveal with who messaged the gang "Get Out Of The Building" but with this season we didn't get the reveal who has Sazz's phone because Marshall didn't have it and also the notes that was left on their door since season 1. Maybe that's why Lester is killed since he's the doorman of the building but I'm actually hoping we'll get a villain in the show because in my opinion the show needs a villain at the moment someone who could be a big threat. Also I was really hoping it would've gotten revealed that someone is in fact after Charles because it's really been hinted since season 1 i was really disappointed by that.
8:14 Agreed.... This season started so well i thought it was going to be the best season so far. S04E02 is still the best episode of the show and then everything went downhill after that. Season 3 is definitely better at this point. Hopefully S5 will end the show with a bang.
There’s really something about Loretta, I mean she’s saving “I’m watching you” images on her phone during her stay in Charles’ sister. Hmmm, but yea may be this season is a plot build up like the others. I’m really sad on that Lester’s scene in the fountain 😭 my fave in the buidling.
I preferred my ending where they did have hidden cameras for the movie. Wished the story was apart of the movie and Saz and Dudenoff came on scene and they all said this was a rap. The Hollywood people set up the cameras but went nowhere with it. It was a story within a story and nobody died.
So, the villain is still alive & is hiding in the building? Marshall has killed only sazz & that another stunt man at the hospital. What about the previous evidence which the "Actors" had discovered? And now death of Lester? The story will continue in season 5
If you look up close at the smudge on the note, you can clearly see that it's a piece of hair or fuzz. So the left handed theory isnt a sure thing,FYI. 😊
I think the episode was funny good but except a couple things are missing, Who was the one who wrote "End the podcast or I end you" and poisoned Oliver's dog? but either way, cannot wait for season 5!
It seemed a bit anticlimactic. There wasn’t’ a real sense of suspense or danger. Mabel didn’t take being held at gunpoint too seriously. There wasn’t any tension there. I thought Marshall was a good antagonist. However, Marshal loses all brain power during episode. Marshal goes to door after Westies knock on it and doesn’t turn around for an ungodly amount of time- allowing trio to do whatever they want. It’s lazy and it suspends disbelief. Season one’s script treated Jan better. I dig this show. However, I’m hoping that the trio becomes sharper when figuring out clues (less reliance on convenient coincidences). The show, itself, points out that trio is cleverer than police. Okay. But you must make a good case for that. They are losing that case. Regarding this season, it seems the police would have pegged Marshal within 48 hours of murder- due to just investigating the case.
In Season 2 we learned that the Arconia used to a brothel. Those were mostly ran by the mob so they informed us about Arconia mob ties years ago. In the very first episode, Charles's monologue lets us know there could possibly be 19 people buried in his building, the mafia does stuff like this. There are other mob references through out the seasons leading us to this point but these 2 are some of the largest. Since the show didnt get push back from these inferences over the years,I'm assuming they didnt think this would be too dark.
What did you think of the OMITB Season 4 Finale? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Do you think that maybe you felt let down by the episode because it felt more like a mid-season finale than a season finale?
The dog poisoning mysetery, the person watching them, the person who was in dudenoffs apartment the first time they went there. All of this should've been explained in the finale. The Westies, charles sister and all of the guest stars deserved to play a bigger role in the end. The episode also felt a little short. Too many loose ends but no main change in the final episode except the buildup for season 5 which fortunately was handled perfectly
It was a huge disappointment for me.
definitely the worst season, season finale for me. felt like the writers were different this season.
it was ok. The new episode with all the subtitles because of the Deaf Son STINKS if I want to read, I have something called BOOKS
Ngl, I shed a couple of tears when Charles went out on the ledge. Cause he was doing his own stunt. The first time he did own stunt. And he did it for Sazz. He tapped in.
Really??😂😂
I think that Lester was already dead when this women talks with Charles and Mabel, because she said there was no doorman.
The moment she said "there was no doorman", my heart sank.
@@tomasornelas8379 How does she know the building has a doorman
And when Charles and Oliver, talked to Lester while going to save Mable he told them he was married in that courtyard, with only the stars and fountain as a witness.
@@cheri7054well it’s a high end New York apartment complex
@@notoriousbig19 I thought this was the last season 😮
Yes, how did Marshal get into the Dudenhoff apartment? It made no sense. There seem to be many unexplained things.

Season 3 was a god damn delight!! Season 4 made me feel anxious and unsettled.
Yeah there was just something about this season!
@musicisalwaysthevibe award winning musical performances are NOT boring
Well it was definitely a bit of a throw back to seasons 1 and 2 in it's messiness and assuming you're there for the quirky characters and not the plot. Especially in the sense of the thrown backs to season one that they didn't follow through on and then 'adding' something (duddenoffs apartment and the westies) pulled out of hat to try to justify Marshall's being there to shoot Sazz. And how did Marshall know Sazz would be going into Charles apartment alone..?
It was not a flawless season but it was fun. Waiting for season 5 !
We'll see.
Let's hope
Marshall had Sazz’s phone.
The hospital called the number and that’s why Marshall knew Glen was awake.
@ i realized already but i am choosing to stay delulu😭
@@adrianporter5749 how did he set up cameras in their apartments? They don’t address this.
yeah, those "I'm watching you" notes are still a loose end going back to the first season.
Can’t wait
why would anyone want to take out lester? he was such a nice guy
I agree. There was so much going on this season that the finale felt like a Bond villain explaining the plot. I do love this show and the Sazz connection to Charles was really touching. Ultimately, it's hard to stick the landing. I will be back. I miss Sazz tho.
I feel like the reveal was underwhelming. I really liked all the Sazz stuff but I didn’t really care for the Westies and think it could of been left out
me the other way around, i liked the westies as a side story a lot, sazz's part was a bit boring to me
The reveal was underwhelming big time. It was too on the nose for me.
Yeah it was a bit all over the place like that!
@@BrainPilot The dog poisoning mysetery, the person watching them, the person who was in dudenoffs apartment the first time they went there. All of this should've been explained in the finale. I totally agree with you.
That's why they took this route.... The 'plot reveal' plot device will be used in season 5
But,
This season left way more questions that we should already have answers to:
- What about Bev being in the New Jersey lot? why? No one else seemed to know about that besides a few people (which totally contradicts the whole only person who would know about the script plot line). What about the gun?
- What about Mabel's offer for holding out special or secretive? If she was going to get big money off the movie, and seemingly them being a successful podcast why is she swamped in money issues to have to settle living with the westies (not that she can't, but she suspects them of being murderers just doesn't make sense)
- Why is Jan out and about and there are no serious ongoing searches for her? Oh cause she needed to be the one to take out Rex? (by now you would think the police would be aware of the secret pathways after solving Bunny's murder)
- Who didn't want the Only murder's film to be made? Why?
- Are they just gonna overlook the westie's cashing in the checks? Cause they have witnesses and camera footage and a literal podcast "don't worry he's just in Portugal!".
- How does Howard know where Charles' sister live? If Charles barely mentioned his sister because of their bad relationship. ( I honestly thought her husband being a cop would play a more significant point)
- Who was leaving the "I am watching you" threats to them?
I am sure Ron Ron probably doesn't want his shoes back now haha
i think the season was overstuffed just to get as many cameos in as possible, especially the sister thing since it went nowhere, but i think the finale was good
Totally know what you mean!
I agree. I definitely could have did without all the Cameos.
It seems to me that this season was more about "fun" and less about "mystery."
The "hill that I'm still dying on" is that Sazz is NOT dead.
I thought it was a great finale to the season I can’t wait for season 5.
That's fair! I'm excited for season 5
I really want season 5 now ! Also , why does Marshall just have a gun in his pocket
are we also going to forget who left the note on Charles door about a bullet hole which Lester read and called Charles in California in episode 1?
This season was a huge let down. They led down so many paths that had nothing to do with anything. This was my least favorite season
From my understanding,Season 4 is a set up to Season 5. So 4 may make more sense once 5 is out.
The show just sucks, I’ve given up expecting it to be good with the mysteries. It’s just a funny show that also has murder mysteries
I totally agree with you. This hands down was the worst season. Very disappointing.

Did they explain how Rex knew about Dudenoff's apartment? I'm lost😅

The last 8 minutes of episode 10 were more interesting than all the other episodes combined.
Do you think? I thought episode 9 was the most interesting!

I’m so sad Lester died!! He was such kind soul!! I was also sad with Sazzes death she was definitely my second or third favourite character!
I agree, I wish he would have gone to jail. It made me dislike him a lot.
It would have been a better fitting ending!
Loved the season and the finale. It wasn't two people who killed but 1 person pretending to be two person. It was awesome. The finale with the wedding was a joyful scene after the saddest death of sazz which was this season
I’ve enjoyed every season, except the one with the secret passageways being exposed. They’re all interesting and engaging. Looking forward to season 5
BUT WHO POISONED WINNIE
Season 4 was great. Stop comparing. Everyone is a critic LOL
What about the person who had been watching them since season 1?

This is so anticlimactic I really thought it wasn’t Rex because it felt like it was mutiple people but no. Now we want to know who killed Lester? With another case that can and hopefully will go into the weridness that was happening in the building cause we still don’t know who was after the trio
Yeah I thought it was a bit disappointing
I respectfully disagree! I LOVED the writing this season! Season 3 was underwhelming/too simple for me but this one really experimented with different ways of storytelling, named the episodes intentionally. Truly, everyone felt like a suspect and got a real spotlight (i feel like I got to know each of the suspects well). And we got like two mysteries in one. I think to keep the theme twins and doubles then surprise us with a single murderer is smart. Because everyone was expecting twins. I do hope they continue to include the Westies and Detective Donna (the detective should have came back for some things). They are so much fun. All that to say - this season has restored my faith in the show
Wait, what about the "i'm watching you" note and the other holes from the first season?
Think that's gonna tie into season 5!
I liked the end of this season much better than last, but nothing has matched season 1& 2, imo.
Yeah me too I thought they were gonna reveal the attempted murder of Winnie….. but I can’t wait for season 5!
Who killed Olivers dog???? What was that noise in Sazz’s apartment, who was watching the trio in season 1 ????
oliver's dog didnt die, he was poisoned and saved by his son who is a vet. Also what noise in the apartment ? (btw im also confused about the notes)
@@GarvitDhingra-p2r my bad with the dog but who poisoned the dog? the noise in Sazz’s home when the trio was looking through her desk
My questions:
How did sazz no about dudenoff apartment?
Part 2 comment
I think what made this season good is though a lot of questions was answered a lot weren’t and we still have questions that need to be answered
My bet is that:
1) Lester was the big bad and someone (the missing husband?) discorvered it and killed him
2) Other way around.

I have questions.....LOL
Who was in Sazz’ apartment when the trio was there?
We’ll have to find out in season 5!!!
It was a really big shock to find them as the next death😢 to lead into season 5 I feel like they killed them off to soon even though it been 4 season.
I still wish we learned who had been behind the person responsible for the plotholes mentioned about the original episodes
That's fair enough! It was definitely darker
Can anyone explain the "im watching you" sign in season 1 ? And how it relates to season 4 if it does?
Season overall was good but not the best i still love S1, its what got me hooked. This episode seemed quite disjointed though, the transitions from scene to scene felt abit weird like we had a whole wedding and a movie being filmed etc etc. Felt like it was rushed and we didnt focus on any one thing for very long. Kept jumping around.
dany kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet 😅
This is how i feel about how they went about the whole season
The camera thing I think they will probably explain it in next season.
Are we just gonna ignore how Marshal DIDN'T have Sazz's phone or that he WASN'T the one who put secret cameras in their apartments?
Like you, I thought the season 4 finale was a good episode, but lacking this crescendo seasons 2 and 3's finales had hit. This finale felt more like a setup for the next season.
Yeah exactly! Episode 9 had more of a wow factor because of the reveal
Seeing Ma’am Secretary in this show gave me chill . The woman is in her 50 ish and still hotttt
So was the question of who has been watching them from the beginning answered? Was it the Westies? Or is that still a plot thread they're just gonna leave dangling...
Ok....let's see how the writers will make it believable that someone killed and dropped lester in the middle of the courtyard on a bright sunny day with no one seeing them
I think Sazz phone and the holes from season 1 are going to be included in Season 5
Excuse me but where is Detective Williams?! And why weren't the Dimases at the wedding? But I am very happy to see Winnie again!
Yeah that's so true!
Did we ever figure out who wrote the “stop the podcast” letter?
My guess is it's going to tie into season 5!
I was so happy to see Winnie at the wedding . So, sad they killed off lester😢. Do you think Lester was somehow connected to the mob?
He could be!
A writer? dawg shoulda joined Navy Seals
The way he jumped on the wall to get around Mabel, bro should audition for the next Spiderman
Jan was cute 😂😂😂
Rip Ron
So in these videos you don’t explain anything but only recap?
I was totally underwhelmed because they did NOT play this one straight and just threw in stuff at the end like the my dad made me a hunter and I knew about Dudenoff Westies because Sazz had this side story I edited out and I decided to snipe Ben in case he figured it out in the dark in a crowded room!?!
Ai meu Deus, que dó do Lester
American TV always drags out shows for far too long, most shows are done within 2 or 3 seasons really, sounds like this show has passed its best.
I saw two killers...
Least favorite ending.
Who placed cameras in all their apartments? (Can’t be Sazz since they had Mabel in new apartment)
Marshall had Sazz’s phone and was tracking the trios phones?!
We’ll find out in season 5. I love the suspense so I loved this episode!
I think the counterpart will be revealed in season 5. You are so mean like what this show is amazing stop being mean :(
I didn’t watch the season finale because the episode before stated who the killer was and all the previous episodes left me so underwhelmed. I truly believe the main killer is Howard.
nope
that would be a REAL plottwist, but I don´t think so
I think lesters death was accidental and Oliver was gonna be the one who was meant to be killed
Interesting theory!
But how come? Lester stjll wore his uniform. If the killer targeted Oljver, they would have gone to his apartment.
I could care less about Dickey. I wanted to see Oliver's son more
couldnt*
I definitely preferred Season 3! My favourite was probably episode 6 of this season
Is it just me, or has this show gone down the crapper after s1?
It’s just you.
72 emergencies ahead, i think that means that lots of people have been killed, and its going to be a big final season
When Charles is trying to report sazz in the incernetator they said 90 something emergencies ahead. Not that dee.
It was a story within a story and nobody died.
season 3 is the worst season by farrrrr
Do you think? I actually quite liked it!
@@BrainPilotcmon season 4 was gooddddd
So, the villain is still alive & is hiding in the building? Marshall has killed only sazz & that another stunt man at the hospital. What about the previous evidence which the "Actors" had discovered? And now death of Lester? The story will continue in season 5
I believe so. I observed the end scene where there waa a lady with blue dress going around at the party. Maybe she will be in the next season.
@@yoandror it could be that Sofia Caccimelio character that may have something to do with it.
Marshall was literally in the scene where glen got shot! Theres even more plot holes now such as the left hand smudge note
Yeah that's true! Plus I don't think he was left handed either
If you look up close at the smudge on the note, you can clearly see that it's a piece of hair or fuzz. So the left handed theory isnt a sure thing,FYI. 😊
@@DCookStaVideo I doubt that but the note itself still goes unanswered
The season was going better than expected but the finale ruined it all. But I did enjoy the season as a whole, not gonna lie.
I hatte that they're bringing a mob story into the show. too dark for me
@@cheri7054 where’d you get that from? Honest question
@@raymondsims7042 Cuz the mob is involved in that dry cleaning and the woman coming out at the end is a mob bosses wife.
@@DCookStaVideo Yes they speak of the mob but that's it. This season 5 might go into mob stuff. It's too much
@@cheri7054 then don't watch it.
