I'm just a bass guitarist so forgive me if I'm out of order here but in the early 90's I was in a band that did the Night Court theme and then in a different set we did the Barney Miller theme song, both just as a little bridge to make a couple of medleys. That was such a fun band to play in!

I'd like to see someone play the last pre chorus fill in Crazy Train recording correctly. Apparently he didn't do it live because Randy felt he was too sloppy.
Love these videos where you work out the song in real time with us, like you did with the Tool album as well. Cool to watch the process and a look into your musicianship at work.
Paradigm Shift by Liquid Tension Experiment... The licks between 6:45 to 6:56, 2 separate licks that I hear. That song has so many juicy licks in it.. but that one is crazy. The intro lick is repeated a bunch of times during the song as well.. The lick isn't that hard to lay but the tempo at which John plays it makes it incredibly difficult. This was one of the first "hard" song I tried to learn how to play. It took me a year to get a minute and a half into this song. (this was 20 years ago) You could also give Universal Mind by the same band a shot. 0:00 to 0:06.
As a guitarist you definitely NEED to listen to some Rory Gallagher! His first solo album is a great place to start (the one with Hands Up) Self Titled...
