Reality is generally ahead of human creativity, fantasy or imagination. Decades ago we had a prime minister Ruud Lubbers - who's first name by Anglosaxons is often pronounced as 'rude', but wait, it gets worse: Oxford English Dictionary tells us that a 'lubber' is a 'stupid clumsy fellow'. The ladies in the UN that accused this man of grabbing them by their behinds may have thought, see, the old Romans were right with their saying 'nomen omen'. Sadly for mr. Lubbers he did not live to see he got trumped in a country where everything is on a larger scale. BTW, the last name 'lubber' is a profession: a specialist in castration (of animals - stallion to gelding, bull to ox, cock to capun). And then we had prime minister Wim Kok. I guess we were lucky as his first name could have been Dick.

Mijn opa
had eens een Amerikaan op bezoek voor het eten, met twee kinderen.
Speciaal voor hen hadden ze biefstuk gebakken en die moesten ze snijden.
Een van die kinderen zat te klieren met z'n vlees en die Amerikaan werd driftig en riep; 'Cut!' door de kamer.
Alle kindertjes van opa en oma zaten met klapperende oortjes te luisteren.

Especially for them, they'd made steak, but it still needed to be cut.
One of the children was messing about with his steak and the American got agitated and screamed; 'Cut!' ( _Cunt_ ) through the room.
All the children of grandpa and grandma couldn't believe their little ears.
Oooooh, but do you know the words have the same origin?
To "lull" means to soothe a baby to sleep, hence lullaby.
But a "lul" was also used as a word for a feeding bottle in the Netherlands up until the 1700s. We no longer used that word that way since it became a pejorative for a penis... because obviously there are some similarities between a feeding bottle and a penis. "Suck my.... "lul" ". Get it?
Yeah, no, even my teen lost it at the carrot. 🤣
That's what I love about hearing foreigners talk about what they hear when we speak Dutch. I get a whole new perspective and yes, I can see why you think it's funny! Do you also know that Fokje is a girl's name in Dutch? (mainly in the Nothern part)

We call a chef a "kokk" in Norwegian too and I can see how that could raise some eyebrows among foreigners hearing it as "cock" lmao 😂😂

You might like to do a video on mistakes foreigners make with the Dutch language. A friend of mine once went into the greengrocer and asked for Een bakje aambeien mixing up aambeien (hemorrhoids) with aardbeien (strawberries). The grocer could barely stand he was laughing so much!

As a teenager, I had an English penfriend. I stayed over with her once and she and her friends asked me to say a lot of Dutch words. What is bed in Dutch, they asked. So I said 'bed' or 'ledikant'. And they all had tears in their eyes, I didn't understand what was so funny at that time. It took years before I finally got it.

My brother once saw an add on the internet for a budget-DJ solution from ReLoop, called "The Reloop KUT". I got an app from him while he was on holiday that only said "You want to launch a new product and think about a catchy name but forget to research if the name of the product as a word might mean something completely different in another language...."

My Dutch teacher giving the lecture in English once said “I was stoned to find out” in Dutch you say “ik stond versteend” when you mean you were stunned...not stoned 🤣🤣🤣. Also he said that the cabinet had made a decision when he meant the government not the kitchen cabinets. When my grandmother moved to the Netherlands from Norway she was living with a Dutch family. One day she came home shocked with the message “ze scheiten op de dijk” where she meant “schieten” the difference is shooting...not taking a shit 💩 😅
If you like the word 'kok', you'll also like to know that both Dick and Willie are perfectly normal Dutch names😂

As said in other comments, it's the other way around too with some English words sounding like Dutch words for male and female body parts, but I guess because Dutch people are exposed to English from such a young age, we stop giggling at a young age too and really no longer notice those words. It does happen to Dutch people with words/names/expressions from other languages though. For instance with the word 'geil' which exists in both Dutch and German. Only in German you can use it for all sorts of things that you really like, say music or an event etc. without meaning anything sexual, while in Dutch it's really only used to say that you are horny or that something/someone actually physically turnes you on. So yeah, that word makes us giggle sometimes when we hear a German use it innocently. Another example from German is the word 'klarkommen', which means something like 'to cope' or 'to handle', while the Dutch word 'klaarkomen' sounds pretty much the same, but means that you are having an orgasm.
And then there is the Swiss city called 'Kloten', of course, which in Dutch is the vulgar word for testicles and the French name 'Claude', which to a Dutch person can sound like one such testicle. The list is endless, really.
Not to mention the fun they must have about your last name...

The other way around happens also. To 'lull' is quite funny in Dutch. Or to 'cut'
Netherlanders usually throw a laughing fit when they land at Switzerlands largest airport. Zürich is harmless, but the precise location: Kloten, is a different story...
My mother breeds dogs, she is a breeder of Cocker Spaniels: in Dutch that is a fokker. The first time she went to the England (her English was very bad then) she told everyone she was a "Cockerfokker". It took quite a while before they stopped laughing to tell her what she was saying.
