Fun fact I learned about the Dragon's Fury is that its projectile is actually two distinct halves. One is large and causes afterburn on anything it hits, and the other, much smaller one is what actually deals the upfront damage.
9:20 Pyro segment: "Can someone tell me where this pyro could have come from?" Demo segment: "People never look up" Hm. Wonder if those things are related somehow.
that ending quote is real as a fellow flank connoisseur, i recommend using the back scratcher with pyro, since youre mostly not around friendly medics and dispensers. the hp you get from hp packs with it is crazy and perfect for the flank playstyle, and you already got extra mobility from the detonator/jetpack
When your flanking you become somewhat like a shark singling out stray targets and killing discretly. Also gotta love the dragon’s fury for its destruction capabilities due to its base damage being extremely high for buildings
Some of the most fun I've had in the game is quickfix pocketing a maniac flanker. Not always effective BUT. It's a lot of fun helping sustain a good troll.
One of my favorite parts about getting behind (especially as Scout) is that half the enemy team suddenly decides "fuck the objective, I have to kill this guy NOW" - especially after they've died a couple of times. Nobody ever seems to think "if I ignore the idiot behind us, I'll be more of a help to my team".
i disagree alot, "ignore the guy behind us" well excedpt hes just gonna keep killing us since no one ever just hangs out behind the enemy team you stating they chase you after dying a couple times disproves the "less helpful for hte team" leaving a flank unsecure is foolish , granted of course having half the team achase after a single scout is detrimental
Yo No Offense But You Look Like That One Friend That Goes On Side Quests On A Tuesday. Thats A Compliment And Love Yer Videos. Ya Should Never Stop Pumping This High Material Stuff Dude!
3:35 he locked in You could have used the back scratcher for that playstyle, basically it forces you to being alone so getting more health from packs is your only option
9:30 Oh hey, that's me! I remember this too, I used the Thermal Thruster and launched myseelf from the central area up into that room and landed into you! You can see me flying in between the frames of 9:29 and 9:30
German V2 rocket flank: Instead of going through flank routs on the ground, why not go through the sky? Use the sticky jumper, the loose cannon, and the caber. jump with the stickies and use the cannon to get an extra jump. Home in on a player and, as you hit the floor, use the caber to kill them. (This may/ will also result in your own death but... shut up) You even said why it would work at 10:13
My favorite thing to do with the Dragon's Fury is to reflect rockets back at too close soldiers. They never expect it from the weapon and always catches them off guard.
I like doing this and finding an inactive teleporter, and waiting for the engineer to build an exit to destroy the entrance so they have to trek back and face me to rebuild the entrance
Because in the intro was a clip of a sniper getting market gardened: yesterday on Hightower i market gardened a bot sniper mid air as it dropped from the balcony
My preferred flanking is still with Spy, it's pretty much the usual thing sure, but it's funny how many people you can hold down to be distracted by placing a shot or two in the back and then sneaking away. Steal a backstab here and there if you can, if not no big deal, harassing an Engineer's teleporter is always the goal in my eyes. Forcing their team to walk can be a bigger reason for the others to get invested, then you've got people switching to Pyro just to try and sniff you out. Even if they kill you, you get to keep a headcount of how many classes it took to screw in that lightbulb.
Genuinely use the sticky jumper and loose cannon or iron bomber if I have particularly good players to fight . Loose cannon is great against low to medium skilled players in a way you demonstrated earlier.
my fav thing to do in tf2 is get to the enemy spawn as spy and hide in a bush or far away or something and then, just once per player, shoot players from far away and then cloak so that they look around confused trying to find out who's shooting at them. i have 3000+ hours in this game
Took me an entire month to even get back into watching TF2 videos after being scammed out of my taunts, cosmetics, and a hefty amount of other items. Thank you, SeaRavioli, for being what brought me back to this glorious fanbase. Lord knows if I'll ever get back to playing TF2 regularly. If I even retain what skill I've acquired over time.
flanking as sniper is funny as well since you can do some trolling. use the hitman's heatmaker since it has a suppressor/silencer which makes your shots very quiet in comparison to his other guns. then just walk behind the enemy team and shoot from a hidden spot. it requires more aim than the spy but it is effectively the same thing.
I pretty frequently will top score on Badwater with Loch and Load, and Sticky jumper pretty much just from destroying all the engies buildings, and not actually getting many kills
I had a feeling you were recording xD God you were so annoying as demo 'the goose (loose)', but gave me a lot of good laughs. I've been checking my surroundings including above me more because of you lol great video
It's about time that someone actually made a video about flanking. Thanks for bringing attention to it, lad. Spy is gonna have a run for his money, I'll tell ya that much.
Flanking is probably my most favourite thing to do in any game. It’s always because you just completely confuse the enemies when you pop up from behind. Especially when doing it as heavy since he’s the slowest class. I guess he kind of acts like a snail. Yes he’s slow but the moment you look away then look back he’s gone!
