Can you go with the loadout loose cannon, sticky jumper, and eyelander. (Use the loose cannon to get a second jump after the sticky jump. And kill 1 person. Btw you can only damage people with the eyelander. I want demo gardening)
Teleporters are one of the easiest ways to earn points as Engie.
If the goal is points, you gotta build active teleporters

I do like the ties between classes because somehow they are linked.
Heavy and Demo got the same score and same VA
Spy and Scout sharing a father and son score.
I thought I was the only one who noticed

it would have been a lot better if you had used a better point system that wasn't basically determined on time played. I'd recommend you do this again(because more good content) and record the time of the games and make a point:time ratio for the classes. now your demo might sky rocket for getting 22 points in 5 minutes with a 4 ppm(points per minute) vs pyro getting 58 points in a long round. assuming the round took atleast 12 minutes, you would have not gotten 4 ppm. I hope you do this again because this was very good content.
Came here to say this exact thing. Video was amazing, and just needed something like a "points per x mins" ranking.
no need
@@SamuelTrademarkedYes need
Demo def won, but the points system was flawed.
The fact that pyro took out turrets and Demo punished them so hard that Engies couldnt even set up turrets is enoigh to show it.
nah that soldier from the medic segment was buggin' 💀💀💀
LMFAOOO FR
i don’t understand they just said nice surf
@@CesarGpe He said "do you like my Hale's Own?" when he most likely got those kills from an idle server and he said "Nice surf, medic." when it wasn't even a surf. The soldier was *clearly* buggin'.
@SeaRavioli-TF2 dude you complain about the poor mobility of heavy but don't even equip the GRU
@@Hobo_Bert I concur
I believe there’s one problem though with your method of scoring: If, hypothetically, you’re doing extremely good on Defense you’ll be ending the match much quicker and acquire less points due to the round not lasting as long. Idk how’d you go about compensating for this but it’s jus a thought for if you decide to do this again with another map.
He could have used a point to minute ratio to see which class got more points per minute.
The other issue is that it’s hard to determine just how much impact you have on completing the objective…. PabloSandvichMuncher03 could just be a Hoovy in the corner, but if he ends up distracting a third of the enemy team it could arguably be a more effective defense than playing normally
That's your take away? the whole video isn't meant to be taken seriously as to which class is actually the best in upward since there's SO many factors that come in to play.
@@IgorNetoAnimationshut up bot 😂😂
@@IgorNetoAnimation where did you even get the idea that this video is supposed to be a joke
That soldier from the medic game reminded me of the time I wanted to grind my new flamethrower. I got about 50 kills before getting bored and leaving.

@@SeaRavioli-TF2a
As a medic main, you are the target
I play Heavy a lot and I agree you were not having your best times.
For pushing you can use the Tomislav if you've got a dedicated medic, otherwise you can try the Dalokoh's bar for that extra 50 HP (Helps more than one would think) with Natasha. You get a damage reduction after 50% HP, which is now triggered at 175, and you keep enemies in your crosshairs by slowing them down. It works quite well to fend off whoever tries to push too hard into your team. Helps you keep the line thick to allow your homies to push.
You can also go hardcore with the Brass Beast and let the cart push you. The absurd damage it does makes it a surprisingly viable weapon, specially since you ALSO get a damage reduction, and you're constantly getting healed.
The problem when playing Heavy is that you have to rely on your team and your health pool. Instead of carrying a match, you'll be allowing your team to carry the match by aggroing half the lobby and just staying alive and scaring everyone away with ur sustained damage.
But then again, Heavy is probably the least independent class here. You can do work by your own, absolutely, but it benefits the most from a proper team
See, I can actually explain the Sniper Pan moment. When the Sniper began the swing with the Pan, swinging it behind his head, it slipped out of his hand, and hit you mid-air. The "Shotty Rocket Jump" was just a B-Hop
that spy ragdoll at 2:32 was way too funny (to me at least) because of the Force A' Nature's knockback
6:19 that soldier damage surfed with the sentry knockback.
its me. im the king.
Hi, I was the demoman named Mr. Morphine while you were playing heavy. I am so sorry, and I enjoy this video greatly.
6:09 i think what happened here was the engi shot the soldier with a shotgun which gave him a minor damage boost, which is why he kept flying. as for why he got THAT much air, i honestly couldnt tell you.
15:48 204 with a single crit meatshot?
Was that an extremely niche case of Widowmaker 10% damage bonus & Pain Train's 10% bullet damage vulnerability made a difference?
+ Video quality is improving a lot, keep it up! Solely enjoyed this one too
Haha that’s crazy I can’t believe you caught that, and I think you’re right about how it happened.
And thank you very much! I always appreciate your feedback and adding some more voice over commentary definitely made the video more engaging to watch.
@@SeaRavioli-TF2 Btw, what do you use to record your footages? Seems game clips are 30fps so
@@SeaRavioli-TF2 Oh yeah and nevermind, I just noticed that it's just a merged damage number. 24 from mini + 180 from widowmaker meatshot = 204
Wish it was the case though, so I can convince people that those near useless stats TECHNICALLY can make difference lol
@@DEWILL I use OBS but I've had some issues where occasionally some of my footage is not recording at the proper framerate so I'm looking into messing with my settings. My PC is more than good enough so I've just got something going on either in OBS or Premiere, but I can't quite figure out what 😅
EDIT: it's 100% premiere pro render settings. I make films unrelated to TH-cam and I'm always switching framerates around so this one definitely didn't export properly. All the OG footage is fine :P

Heavy, mechanically speaking, is a pretty easy class to master, but learning positioning and game sense is what separates the great heavies from the bad.
Yo class wars idk bro it dont sound right
Genuinely impressed by the quality of your content. I have high hopes for your channel, keep up the great work
Back in the day I mained Heavy (only for about 50 total hours), but it was enough for me to realise that a really simple playstyle is apparantly very hard to get right
Playing Heavy is all about mastering the fundamentals of game sense and efficient movement, and Heavy isn't particularly forgiving in those areas.
Upon release, heavy medic was the go-to option for Uber pushes, and overall dominance. Only focus fire and fully charged headshots could stop it. Then the updates came and it went all downhill for heavy after that.
For the flying soldier, i think he edgebugged off the sentry
I think you may be right
Immaculate video and I respect you fellow squidward 🫡
W
The thing about knockback is that its the most fun thing you can put in a game cause even the enemy will be impressed by how far they can fly when knockback stacks.
U should have also included the time each class took on each side
i absolutely love both this and the trolldier video, i am so looking forward to your future videos!
Thank you! More to come :)
As a wannabe pyro main seeing him win this challenge brings a moderate amount of joy

You have a lot of talent man, this video kept me captivated the whole time. Great work! I will definitely subscribe and turn on notifications
As a heavy main, the most important lesson I've learned is when to back out of an engagement. 300 hp really isn't that much in the face of explosive classes, so if you're in a bad spot you just die. I really rely on the tomislav and the GRU to get out of bad situations.
What I would have done to account for differing round lengths would be to take a picture of the scoreboard at the end and average your teams scores, then divide your score by that number to find a number that represents how you did in comparison to everyone on your team.
6:13 That shotgun recoil was insane
the one in a million time youtube actually recommends a good small youtuber to me. we will watch your career with great intrigue young one.
Much appreciated ❤
Amazing video man keep up the great work
underrated channel btw
The one thing I love about Upward has to be definitely that one flank spot on third
trueeee
I was super shocked to see your sub count. Awesome video! Cant wait to see more :-)
The strongest class on Upward is actually the multiple sentry nest, stacked on last while the enemy team aren't even capable of pushing because there's just too many of them.
Randomly found this channel and i saw you just started uploading. I'm impressed by the quality of your videos and effort put into it and the game! and love your energY, instantly subscribed after this video and i cant wait to see more! its always great seeing a new perspective on the game!
You know you arent a Heavy main at all when you call the most common (or great? idk its used by good playerS) loadout with gloves, sandwich and stock, a "cool loadout" WFOIJW I wish i did learn how to use the gloves but im terrible at heavy melee but once you get one kill you can go on a RAMPAGE
LOL yeah I have prob like 20 hours on Heavy over the course of 10 years so... definitely not familiar with the playstyle
That "return to sentry" jump is in the same neighborhood of cool as the legendary trolldier spy.
Keep up the amazing versatility!
About the Soldier "Rocket Jumping" with the shotgun. I am not one hundred percent sure, but when you b-hop while rocket jumping, you keep the momentum
He wasnt strafing so he lost some speed there. İt doesnt keep all off the speed after bhops if you dont strafe

I’d say my favorite loudout for engineer (I main him) is the Panic Attack and minisentry to pretty much just hit the front lines
Can't wait for the next video

Really love the David lynch DUNE music at the end
i did some popcorn to watch this video and i dont regret a second of it
The soldier jumping with a shotgun could be that the soldier switch to his primary so fast that you couldn’t see him pull it out and switched to his shotgun after
Quality content from a small channel. Subbed
This gave me such good 2012 Ster energy. Great vibes, great video
great vidoes man, im hoping you blow up, you deserve it
Nice editing 👍🏽
Recently got back in to tf2 and been looking for some good team fortress content and this is literally top tier, good job! also subbed lol
Defending Upward as Engie is hella fun, sentry on the building flank at first has saved a lot of rounds for my team, same with the corner after the tunnel on second.
Video is good
The trick with direct hit soldier is to take panic attack as secondary. You will close out most engagements with it, and being able to 1-2 a light class at medium range in under a second (plus one-shotting at point blank) cannot be underestimated.
bruh how you have only 3.4k subs?? your editing, the gameplay, the commentary all great
10 minutes into the video I find out you don't even have 5k subs yet, what on earth- Great content, can't wait to see you blow up
0:26 look at all those crits
there are a few issues with this test, even if you assumed you had equal skill with each class, such as
-sometimes some players focus on supporting you specifically more then in other games
-some classes are high priority targets, like madic
-spy's actually have their point count doubled (so with that in mind spy would actually have 43 points if they wernt doubled)
-some classes are more support oriented (like medic)
Videos like this is why I subscribed!
much appreciated, gamer
upward the typa place where a mf would get hit on the head with an anvil and then have a big ass lump on their head 🥶🥶🥶💀💀💀
this guy has such high quality videos deserves more subs
16:40 he probably used a strange count transfer tool to move kills from an old gun haha
I didn't know you could get he force-a-natural on Soldier now the new update was Crazy
damn, awesome video!! as someone who plays a lot of heavy and medic i have sooo many pointers but instead of rambling on ill just give you a piece of advice: getting kills isnt the only way to be top scoring. as a medic ill be in the top 3 with literally like 1 to 2 kills lol. staying alive and supporting the team with heals/assists/defending the point can mean the difference between winning and losing the whole match.
goddamn tho, your demo game is insane 😭 i hope to be able to play demo like that too someday!!
2:09 *Gaben grants you extended melee range* *Holy Choir*
The only tf youtuber who know how to play more than the one class they main.
u r disgustingly good at every class man
0:02 LMAO HE HAS CONFIDENTS 😂🤣😂
In the thumbnail, Scout is just staring at the helmet.
16:31 he could have also bought the killstreak kit from the market and then applied it, making it non tradeable for 7 days
far too high quality to have only 2k
so underrated
I'm not a heavy main however if you want a heavy loadout that focuses more on mobility, I highly recommend using Tomislav, Dakolah bar and Gloves of running urgently
Using dakolah often will give you a consistent healthy boost and the GRU will make sure you can get in and out of danger faster
btw the sniper that hit you was using a silent aim... which sadly works on many melee weapons since they all are hit scan too.
Name and shame, those bastards deserve ALL THE SMOKE.
Fun fact : you can earn more points with the mannmelter if the enemy pryo is using the scorch shot which I def did not abused it
Fun fact: Just Extinguishing players gives you +1 points, you don't need a Mannmelter for that
for medic he could have just used the quick fix for high points
Pretty great video!
Video was put together very well! The effort is there.
Also what HUD were you using in this video?
The soldier probably used the strange count transfer tool on his rocket launcher lol
I do tend to play medic when there aren't any other medics, and one thing I have to say is try to spread your heals around, focus a little more on the guy that's top scoring when spreading your heals around, stay *just behind* the frontline rather than being in it(unless you have uber, in which case pop when your guy is ready to go in), and don't worry about kritz: just about any uber does well, but stock is honestly the best of the best for just about anything. Popping uber on a power class is the best way to push into a strongly defended choke or break a strong offensive push.
Edit: Something I forgot to mention, but you not only get points for *healing* and *ubering,* but you basically get free assists for kills and captured points when healing someone else, so yeah, focus HARD on the healing part and staying out of the way. Your medibeam will stay on your patient, just focus on staying alive, even if you have to pop uber without a patient in order to do so. The longer you're out there, the longer your team stays alive, the more pressure you put on the enemy team. Medic is THE BEST class beside Engie. Without a medic and engie, your team SUFFERS.
Great video and love your HUD/setup, any chance you could make your custom folder available for download?
big fan of the background music
Thumb was covering the cl in class so I read it as 'Ass Wars.' I got so excited
why are tf2 youtubers edits are always good??! Good video!
The tf2 community is the funniest community.
Simple fix for the scoreboard would've been:
Score / Rounds played = points
Using this the average Score per round for each class was:
1. Soldier 18.6 Score/Round
2. Spy 17.2 Score/Round
3. Scout 14.3 Score/Round
4/5. Sniper/Pyro 14 Score/Round
6/7. Heavy/Demo 12.75 Score/Round
8. Engineer 8.7 Score/Round
9. Medic 3.5 Score/Round
Spy can be unstoppable on Upward, great vid !!
That Soldier could've just put kills from another launcher on that one, thats what I do when I get a strange with some extra accecories.
the rocket launcher hales on was from him using a strange count transfer tool
I play a lot of medic on upward, there's a trick to it, you should always be sticking to your teammates but at the same time you should be holding back just beyond the frontlines, you are the number 1 target as medic, so make use of your prep time and build uber before pushing in, and when you do push in dont go too deep, if your pocket jumps into a suicidal situation after your uber would have ended DO NOT FOLLOW, you want a teammate that will protect you and keep you in cover when you push in
Make sure to spam crossbow bolts when there’s no one else
To heal. Every ounce counts. You might even steal a kill or 2 lmao.
That scout was in love with you lmao
Earlier today I had a good way to measure how good each class is on upward.
I forgot what it was but maybe I’ll remember tomorrow.
Only 2.4k Subs and this good at editing? Ill be sure to check your backlog if its all as well made as this! Good job
