    👍 knowledge driven by logic & experience & real life field research! this is exactly what our industry needs right now. I'd imagine the learning curve & margin for error must be quite interesting when trying canopy wraps in different species/ bark types, eh?

    I use natural crotch rigging every day. As I ascend I remove limbs cutting job time and tree time.

    Yer ya right. Think o rings are good. Have lowered using rope on crotch but cut into the tree. Made wieght unpreditible. An yer melted. But yer like friction up high just makes sense.

    I learned from guys who only crotch rig, and it took me years to find a video on TH-cam that demonstrated the basics. Excellent video
