I used BT stuff in the past and it was OK but I'm thinking a GMRS radio with a helmet kit might be a good option. Better range for sure (up to 5 miles) and not proprietary (so no limits on number of people in a group). The only problem is that it's not an always open channel so you either use VOX which loses a second of audio or you use PTT which is a drawback.

We aren’t paid by anyone either so when we say we like a product it’s our full honest opinion

Thanks for the video. My question would be how does this system operate? Is it a walkie-talkie or do you have to link it through cell phones. I would love to get the system for my family and when we ride the ATVs. When connected, is it an open mic or do you push a button to communicate?

    • @dpdrennen91

It’s an open mic and uses an app on your phone to do certain things but once the helmets are connected you don’t need to open the app again every time you want to ride

SO this uses bluetooth connectivity? Where we ride we only have cell service where we take off from. After that we are 'off the grid'.

Yea it connects with Bluetooth to your phone and then works like a walkie talkie so as long as you’re in “range” of the other riders you will be connected

Been trying to figure out a way for my gf and I to talk on the ride.. They sound real good.... do these hook up to the go pro as well?

    • @dpdrennen91

Honestly there’s probably a way to do it but I have not figured it out yet. Thought about running a mic from the go pro near the ear piece to hear the convo……

Perfect for a ride with your girlfriend tho it has a mute button………..

@@dpdrennen91 if the audio from the ear piece is loud enough I bet that would work. Thanks man

@@loudnproudatv3502 I havnt tried it yet just because the go pro batteries die so quick in the winter we can’t run a mic. But I’m struggling to get good quality sound in this edit I’m working on right now………

Not sure the exact distance but it’s plenty far for a group of atv riders
