Good advice that what i usually do, for auctions, (ending soonest/canada) sniped a few psa slabs that way, did you go to bossa this weekend if so, will look forward to the video :D
Ah, it is final season. I’m in school too but it’s mainly research based. If I had finals, I probably would’ve not gone as well. Bossa does monthly card shows so hopefully you’ll get to go soon! Nice chatting with a local :)
Thanks, appreciate it as always. I think finding a good auction is usually how you can get the lowest prices when buying online. For us Canadians, I like to bid with Canadian auction companies (eg. slab sharks on eBay) as I feel their prices go lower than other auction companies because US bidders (probably largest proportion of buyers) might be hesitant on buying from Canada. They’ll have to deal with additional fees, import charges and taxes that they might not have to incur if they ordered from the US.
I'm not sure if you can filter both ending soonest and with bids only. I know you can organize auctions by selecting the "auction" tab and going into the "sort" tab and choosing "Number of bids: most first".
@@TCGCollector it was good! Picked up 2 silver tempest ETB's from Zephyr which were such a good deal. Missed out on the lost origin and 151 UPC as they brought those out after we left though :(
That’s great to hear - I was so tempted to pick up a couple as well! Super nice of them to also host the hourly giveaways. Wish I got to stay longer though but definitely looking forward to coming back again
You paid 1.2k and think the market values it at 1.9k? OMG its only worth what someone will pay which was 1.2k, now try selling it again right away and see if there is anyone else willing to pay that - probably not. Tip #1 do not buy cards to make profits - buyers are the suckers.
1.9k is just the sales I see for last sold and what I see at card shows. I'm just trying to show people how to get a good deal lol. I bought the card for my collection and not to make a profit...
You sound like a bitter wannabe flipper who lost their ass on a lot of cards. And don't even bother replying, cause if it's anything like the bullshit you just spewed about market value, you know absolutely nothing and everything you say is worthless, like all the flips you failed
Thanks for the great tips! I have yet to purchase cards on ebay but will take these into consideration when I do.
Thank you for checking out the video! :) Hopefully you find some good deals.

Great to hear and yeah I did go! Did you? Haha, appreciate the support. Hopefully that video will be up soon :)
@TCGCollector No, I have been busy with school and will be interested in going to the next tcg potential event whenever that is.

Do you know how to change filters to auctions with bids only?

just saw your pick ups haha some of them I remember seeing at the vendors too! Glad you were able to get a good deal on them
Haha, yeah, those guys were great! How did you find the show?

Were you keeping those sealed or ripping them?
@@TCGCollector just opening for fun :D so far I realize why I don't buy packs often haha

If you buy PSA you automatically overpaid.
Imma defo only buy psa 9/10s regardless to price atm , we all know what happens to Pokémon lol 📈
It comes down to preference. Besides, generally PSA cards hold their value better than other grading companies.
eBay auctions are a great way to get cards 30-50% off
Agreed - especially the auctions that end at a "bad time" as well. Thanks for checking out the video!
STOP OVERPAYING FOR ENGLISH CARDS
I also overpay for Japanese cards too!
