- The Kremlin is deploying a new weapon in the war on Ukraine - deepfake videos. One such video claimed to depict President Zelenskyy telling his soldiers to “surrender” and “give up your arms,” but no one was fooled by such an obvious fake. Zelenskyy responded quickly to the deepfake, telling his people there will be "no surrender." Meanwhile, food shortages at Russian grocery stores are leading to fights, as Western sanctions against the country make basic necessities hard to come by.
Such a shame for the Innocents in Russia and Ukraine caught up in this mess.

If the war would be over if zelensky was dead. Then he would already be dead. Putin found out about this the hard way. He is fighting a country. Not just one man or a few politicians like he initially believed. If putin is really smart he keeps zelensky alive and force him to make a treaty securing a big chunk of Ukraine. Killing him right now would make him a massive martyr.

One thing to also note that downgrading the resolution helps to mask the inconsistencies that deepfake provides. Then again, whoever did this deepfake didn't know that well about making a quality deepfake.

The questien is not when Ukrainians will surrender but when Russian soldiers will flee or surrender. They do not receive enough support from their own military. i really agree with what Arnold said, back then Ukraine was part of Russia's control,but after awhile, Ukraine decided that they wanna be independent,which resolve in splitting up with Russia at the end. Though they arent the same country together, they still have family connections and bonds between Russia and Ukraine.
Ukraine had never "decided" to be independent. It was just a Soviet republic, and all Soviet republics automatically gained independence after collapse regardless of the fact that most people didn't want it.
If WW2 was the event that ended any chance of Austria living under Germany in one unified nation, this would be the same case for Ukraine against Russia. Perhaps one day these people could look upon each other as close comrades but a Greater Russia as Putin wills it is now as dead as Greater Germany.
