I am having the same issue with our together time. So I did purchase a couple of Not Consumed studies to be done independently. Then at lunch we will discuss the key verse and theme. We will also rotate between reading an actual book in the Bible with the NC Bible studies.

      That sounds perfect!
I’m going to do the “Faithpedia” from Not Consumed along with their bible studies. I will incorporate all the “fun things” and extras in that time.
One year I did a book about weird inventions during our Book Basket time and the kids liked that.

For this particular child-- I have used Abeka, Masterbooks, and now The Good and The Beautiful. We used Masterbooks the past two years and before that it was all Abeka.
