I have a planner that I use PENCIL in because things change constantly 😂 we just very simply plan by deciding what we want our end date to be, our appointments and trips we have planned, and then do the math from there for how much time we need. Good luck this year!
Great job planning! It looks like a lot to me but if anyone can do it you can. You're so blessed with high energy and a strong voice for reading out loud. It's wise to do nothing but the co-op on Wednesdays. The 3 years I did different co-ops it was a big deal and I never had the time and energy to teach anything those days of the week. We're starting after Labor Day but our dance nights begin early and We're starting 2 subjects now just to make sure we like that new curriculum. I like to ease into the school year a little bit early. I find it really helps with the transition
I like your quarterly lesson planning sheet. That is nice and flexible. 😊 I printed out the memorization passages by week as well. It’s working really well so far. 😊
This was very helpful! This is my 2nd year, and I appreciate the year overview and your thought process down to the week! It is thorough but also easy to follow! Thank you so much for sharing!!
This is our first year with Sonlight and are using Core D. I have really been liking it! I noticed the William Wilberforce book you have is a different one than what they schedule. Just curious why you are using a different one 😊 I’m already thinking about next year and want to start slowly gathering the books! Thanks for the planning video. It gave me some good ideas!
On average how long are your school days? I go about 6 and my girls aren’t thrilled. 😂 The caveat to our homeschool days is that we have 3 hours at co-op on Mondays and all day Thursdays one girl is in a outdoor exploration group and the other one is doing all her extracurricular activities at a co-op. SO MUCH STUFF.
@@hollyalong2780 it depends on the year and I can’t say for this year but last year maybe like 4 hours give or take? It’s hard to say because we stop for lunch and time outside which I don’t really count as our school hours. I hear you with all the activities! It’s easy to want to do it all! We’ve really had to prioritize this year because there are so many good options!

Informative! We’re starting the 1st week of September as well so the quarter breakdown is great!
I write everything as well! Nothing like good old pen and paper.
Just something about it 🥰

My girls help with reading too so it’s not just all on me 😊

I saw that you did that! I wasn’t going to but when they said they couldn’t memorize it without seeing it, I figured I should do the same ☺️

Thank you! I can’t be a lot to break down, and you hope it makes sense to others, so I’m glad to hear that 😄
This is a great plan! I don't plan too much but this is a big encouragement for me. I would love a review of Sonlight and art end of the year 😉
Will do!

Yes it’s the bookshark recommended one…I can’t remember why I got that one instead of the Sonlight one (no significant reason)
