Handwriting goodandbeautiful is really good. If you look inside of the book, every page has a draw a picture section. My kids love it. Goodandbeautiful the best by far curriculum for us ❤
Have you heard about the new Lovevery reading boxes that will Become available tomorrow. Sounds like box 1 would be a good fit for Jackson. I’m planning on ordering it for my 3 year old
We’ve loved TGTB curriculum! My daughter is going into 2nd grade at a private Catholic school. We previously did the K curriculum and are finishing the 1st grade for both subjects now. I only do it the curriculum during the summer when she’s off school. It’s aligned so well with what she’s learning at school. I love that I was able to print all curriculum for free too. I put it in page protectors and in a binder so we can use dry erase markers and save it for my other 2 kids 😀
Can you do a video on how you make a mini science study from the science curriculum book. I have those as well and that is a great idea. Also how did you teach Riley to read video.
I'm using zaner bloser handwriting this year for my kindergartener. She isn't in the trace stage yet so it goes into the basics for by having her do horizontal lines, vertical lines, curved lines.
Would love to see a video on your planning process when you are working through your planner! Also very intrigued by this history curriculum, can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
We are doing TGTB with my son too, same age as Jackson 😊 Tiny Truth Bible stories is one of my favs to read to my son also! Love your plans, thankyou for sharing as it is also helps and encourages me!

If you are ever looking for a cute Catholic preschool program (I would say pre-k3) look into Little Lessons by All Saints Play! I found it too late for my oldest, but will be using it for my second next year.
I noticed that the good and the beautiful definitely isn't super focused on handwriting but I found that I really like the Abeka handwriting it's really good.
My son turned 4 in March and he’s a lot like Jackson. Not interested in structured teaching. I’m glad my goal of learning the alphabet by the time he goes to Kinder August 2025 isn’t a small goal. You read a ton of the levels kids are supposed to be at by certain ages and it gives me anxiety that my kid is falling behind 😬
Hi Kayla! I love watching your videos! We have some things in commons 😊 I will start homeschooling this school year, preschool 3 and kindergarten. I’m also including Catholic teachings! We are a bilingual Family and we are still deciding between two bilingual curriculums, Nobis Pacem (Classical Catholic bilingual) and Llamitas ( bilingual secular). Do you know of anyone using these two? Any feedback? Thank you! Have a great day!
We love TGTB handwriting! I'm honestly kind of sad that was the only one of their curricula that works for my daughter. Their english/reading was just way too fast for her.
Out of curiosity. Why did you guys leave the Horizons curriculum? I remember in your review video you said you liked it better for a lot of reasons. So curious why the switch?
@@KaylaBuell thank goodness haha I wanted to start it this year but I was thinking that’s such a high price for one time use 😂 so I’m glad it’s reusable that makes it worth it
My boys are on the level 1 and they are very artistic, however by the time they color the little thing on the bottom they are over it. They end up rushing through the picture or asking to skip it. 😒🤷🏼♀️
I thought about using RC History with my children this year but instead I decided on Tan Books the Story of Civilization: The Ancient World. I might use the picture books RC History recommends. Thanks for sharing all your resources. Hope you have a fun year!💖

When it comes to the science ones are they reusable or would you have to order a separate one for each kiddo
@@Reading_With_Tabs it’s not a workbook, so they won’t be writing in it. You’d only need one for you guys as a family!

Handwriting practice can be done through 10 minutes of copy work. Copying a little bit of a poem or Bible verses.
If it makes you happy, no one else's opinion should matter.
