The shower bit 🫠♥️. It’s so rare to see a bloke doing the things you do. Then when you knelt down for her to brush your hair 👌🏻. Thank you on behalf of Amika for doing such an amazing job. Her reaction though to hat backwards cracked us up 😂 x
Hi , great content, really enjoyed your videos, can you tell me where the leasure centre was and what it's called, we are doing this route in may. Kind regards Paul and tina
It's a rarity these days isn't it. She loves her tablet, but we ensure there is a good balance. Thanks, many more trails to come, and thanks for being here Paul 👍🙌
Hi George, thanks, slowly getting there with the van, some good changes over the last 2 weeks also. Will post a video soon. I've jsit watched a video on here from 3 years ago, man they grow up fast, need to make the most of every moment we have together. Thanks for subscribing, I hope you are liking the videos
Loving watching your videos, your journey is amazing! We gave the NC500 a miss last year, we got to one of the main starting points and one look a the hoard of campers heading that way and we decided to make new plans on the fly, we zig zagged all over Scotland and saw so much we otherwise would have missed. I've heard a lot recently about popular stopover spots being shut down or the rules changed and more and more campers are being moved on. My favourite memory from Scotland and what I recommend to anyone going this way, was the Isle of Skye, and taking the scenic drive from Portree up to Rubha Hunish and back down the other side, we parked up just after the castle up there and spotted Minke whales in the ocean, and saw a golden eagle on the way back down. You could spend a day travelling round that route and stopping at all the historic spots, loads to learn and see!
Hi Steve, I'll try not to give too much away on here or I'll spoil the videos that are still coming... But I fully get your point with the hoards of campers. The NC500 is a long way, and there is a lot to see and do, but so far I've spent more time driving than seeing things, since I've been to 39 countries and mountians in places like Romania, France, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan,as beautiful and dramatic as they are around the me coast, I'm not really thrilled so far... That may change in future videos though, however you're right about the rest of Scotland. There is a vast amount to see. My neighbour has a home in Skye, he lives the place and told me to go and avoid the NC500 like the plague... We only went as we had a few days to spare before the snow, but you live and learn 😊 thanks for the pointers, I've flagged them on my map for when I do go up that way. Have you been around the cairngorms? We love that area the best so far
@@TravelwithGaryandAmika Yes spent a bit of time there, mainly the Aviemore side, but we ventured around a bit, and went looking for the pyramids there too, they were great! We travelled from Loch Lomond to Aviemore and we stopped by Loch Rannoch for a couple of nights on the way, on a very basic camp site on the south side, all around the Loch is very wild and mostly uninhabited, and not really many tourists or passing traffic as the west side of the Loch is a dead end. The drive from there to the Cairngorms was very scenic and wild. Loch Rannoch also seemed to be a popular spot for low flying military aircraft which was a nice treat. We only got as far as Inverness on our travels and that was a good 3 weeks of exploring, we are planning a return in the near future but will be heading straight up to the north coast and then meandering our way back down the highlands for a few weeks. Looking forward to more videos :)
Great video glad you eventually managed to find somewhere to park for the night. Sadly they are putting up more and more signs for no overnight parking. Can't wait to see what you 2 get up to on the nc500
Anyone else had these sorts of problems on the East Coast of the NC500? Perhaps it was just because of Easter? Most signs look brand new!

She always asks me to do tht backward hat thing since then, she seemed to love that part. Thanks for the kind words Amy 🙌❤️

Need to think about safety and put Amikas seat belt on when driving.....also a legal requirement...stay safe
Her seat belt is always on, Amikas safety is my number one priority, think your confused with the middle seat belt. Hers goes over her left shoulder
