Nice to see you do a video on nibs also buffing I like buffing I like to see you do a video on block sanding filler and a smart repair job be cool I like this video thank you kandy man take care
@@kandyman5315 nice one kandy man just been over to your channel watching your videos love it👌 nice to watch and have someone down to earth Taking about there passion for paint and I must say your car is sick man
I love buffing a custom job but i hate doing it on a collision job. I’ve been using the festool denibber by 3m #29925. I hit the nibs and buff them right out. Once u learn how to use it u don’t even have to sand them. Awesome video sir 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Depends on the clear coat you’re using . And how fressh the clear coat is . I’m very hesitant using 2000 it creates swirl marks, even hitting it with 3000 . Heavy RPM on your white pad, heat it up faster
Hey man great video. You should check out 3D Aca 510 compound. You can actually buff 1500 grit sand scratches out with no problem figured I’d tell you about it might save you a little bit of time I know it did me
This is what I’m trying to learn all videos are for show car type work which Ik but moving into a production shop I’m trying to learn how to save the time and still be nice basically leaving it factory orange peel but de nibbed
Old timer here from UK. Just a couple of things, have you experienced the re-appearing of de-nibbing marks a couple of hours after final buff? Secondly, I've watched many vids on you US refinishers and you seem to prefer wool heads instead of the sponge heads. It just takes me back to the cellulose days which they were great but would cringe using them on a 2K finish.
Nothing worse than walking into work only to be told your in detail bay all day. Great video KM
Lol 👍 😆
I recently got some G360 compound and excited to use it, heard a lot of good stuff about it
It's good after the 3000 grit thanks for the comments

I love Mirka Abralon foam pads for denibbing, wet.
Foam works great thanks for watching
Nice work
I use 3M 1 & 2 but I like a wool pad for first cut
Yes sir and thank you for your support
Similar to what I do, but 1500 then 3000 on a Mirka 75mm DA, the smaller DA keeps it small and protects as much peel I can
Nice thanks for watching
3m compound is great 👍 I have used the rotary buffer you have great bit of kit 👍
Just was talking about you with Dean .💪
He ask me if I see your channel told him guy does awesome work 👏 and I'm subscribed
