Enjoyed the visit! Always love seeing what you have been working on and your antique and thrift shop finds ! Glad you showed the round sewing baskets with the tassels, I was given one by my Aunt that was her mothers and didn’t really know what it’s use was 🤷🏻♀️ ,now I know also it has the coins on it so that really through me off !! Oh and yes I too am going to purchase the Cat !! 🤣 Thanks , Kim ☀️
I am so glad you are well. I had been wondering where you were I love to watch your videos!!!! Your stitching is incredible I LOVE the flower a day pattern....beautiful!! See you in two weeks!!!!
I just found your channel today so I'm back at #1 when you asked for floss storage ideas! Here's my very inexpensive way I tackled my stash of dmc. I put them all out on my table, separated by color, tagged them and hung them by big rings off my pegboard in craft room. Cheap and easy.
Glad your surgery went well. I loved your Harriet's Valentine Bouquet and your Sampler Girls pieces! Your Santa's Village is lovely! Can't wait to see that all finished. Have a great couple of weeks!
I'm glad your surgery went well. I love seeing the vintage and antiques you find. My daughter has that exact round sewing basket with the flower stencil on top. Hope you get in some good stitching.
Glad your eye surgeries were successful. I'm amazed that you were able to stitch so soon afterwards. That is awesome! That sewing bird is a hoot!!! Congrats 🎉 on your 1yr anniversary! Wishing you many more years of HAPPY STITCHING! 🪡🪡🪡
Congratulations on your 1st year Anniversary and successful eye surgeries! Love watching all of your videos and seeing your wips & finishes. The red train case you found will be perfect to take to retreats! You remind me so much of a friend of the family that was originally from Missouri but now lives in West Central Illinois. I don't remember specifically where in Missouri she was from though. Hope you have many bright & beautiful stitching days ahead of you!
Glad your eye surgery went well and your back to stitching. Always enjoy visiting with you and seeing your work. Thank you for the info on the Fat Cat pattern it's adorable.
That is great to hear that your surgery was successful. I have been told I might need the same in 5 or 6 years. Ugh! I don't want to lose my close up seeing so I will probably resist as long as I can. Your haul from the thrift stores and Goodwill are fabulous! I never seem to find good stuff like you do.
I enjoyed the variety of projects you worked on! Thanks for telling us about your cataract surgery. I don’t have them yet, but my husband does, so it was good to hear about your experience. I think the idea to bring a box of “helpers” to retreats is a great idea! It wouldn’t have occurred to me to bring some of the items in your box, but they would definitely be helpful! I think your box looks like it was some type of makeup organizer originally. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
Happy to hear your eye surgery went well - I know I'll eventually be in the same boat. Always such beautiful stitching, Deana and I absolutely love the sign on your shelf behind you ;)
Thank you. You will do fine with it. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to stitch for a while and that just wouldn't work for me! It was really very easy.
I forgot my little sign was up there but alot of people think it's pretty funny! I usually say that when I mess up on my stitching!.... and other times too!❤️🤣
Oh thrifting, antiquing, and cross-stitch!!! A woman after my own heart! I have been trying to watch your video for over a week and FINALLY got to watch it! So happy that your surgery went well and love that you have fur-babies to keep you company! Thank you for sharing your time and talent with all of us! Happy Stitching!
Happy Anniversary on Floss Tube! So glad your cataract surgeries went well! I enjoyed seeing all of your stitching and your antique haul! I was just talking to my husband and my son about one of those “old lady” chains for my glasses the other day! LOL 😂 Hugs to you and Tootie! ❤
I hope I didn't offend anyone. I'm getting tired of carrying them around in my head! Now I see why they have the chains! Hugs back from Tootie and me!❤️
I love antiquing also and recently did lower Maine with cool finds. I would love Praire Fires so will set out to find that book. Thanks! Weather here in Boston area just as quirky!!!
Oh my the key frame was a great find for your chart. Can’t wait to see how you redesign it. Stitch a pair of birds for the pull out drawer with the two top doors you talked about replacing the fabric.
Glad your eye surgery went well! Your sampler girls finish is great! I have mine kitted up and will start it after I finish two projects😂 I have too many charts! Happy stitching!
I always enjoy your videos and appreciate you sharing your stitching and finds with us. I'm glad your surgeries went well. Have you ever watched one of your videos after you post it? Curious how you would feel about the number of ads placed in them.
Yes I always watch right after it gets posted but I don't ever see that many ads. I watch just in case i messed something up. I've had others mention the ads too. I don't know why some see several ads and some don't.
@@thenightlystitcher I'm not sure how any of that works either. I definitely will move through the ads and continue watching because I enjoy and appreciate you and your videos. I was just curious and appreciate your kind response.
Oh, my goodness! Congratulations 🎉👏 on one year flossiversery!!! I'm the Laddonia lady with the "is this you?" on her phone you met at the auction 😃. Anyway that Flower 🌼🌹 a Day! Whew, that's a lot of stitching! And Santa's village? Wonderful! I had eye surgery too, ura amazing! Yes, I have to use cheaters for stitching but still, amazing and it's beautiful! Glad yours went well too! Good to see you back on here! On the sewing box that's needs touching up, I suggest Old English Scratch Cover. It's available at Walmart, rub it in, it covers remarkably. Looks better than ever!
Great video Deana. I love all of your thrifting purchases. Loved seeing the Christmas village again. I know that's not the real name. Glad your eye procedures went well. Love love love your "well shit!" sign. Happy stitching.....Pam
Thanks Pamela, I think it's called Santa's Village. I'll be glad when I get it done. Several people liked my little sign. 1 didn't! I'm always saying that when I mess up on my stitching so I had to buy it.
Another great video. I enjoy seeing what you are stitching and all of your sewing baskets and boxes. I collect them too however don’t have a lot of them. I was on the one asking you about the M Design Sampler Girl. Guess what, I found one and I am gathering threads and fabric to start. I am so excited. Happy stitching and enjoy your weekend.
Glad your surgery went well ! I had that done last year it was amazing how bright things were after. I too have wore glass since 2nd grade and will still have to wear glasses and thats ok .
Congratulations on one year and so glad you had successful cataract surgery! ❤ Your sampler finish is beautiful. I like to squeeze my words and name in too…I never seem to leave enough space. Counting is NOT easy! Lol! Have a great day! Hello to Tootie!
I had cataract surgery last October, and have the same struggle with needing reading glasses or the magna clips for stitching. I'm still feeling annoyed by it all. Your thrift finds are so fun, I'm looking forward to getting out to some shops soon. I found the fat cat patterns, too, and may do it in a smaller version to sit on a shelf.
We have only had 1 measurable snow, about 2-3 inches and 2 snows that were just skiffs. We usually have a least 1 or 2 good snows but I'm ok with none!
Happy Floss-i-versary!! It wouldn't be a video without precious Tootie! I'm so glad your cataract surgery went well. I have a square basket like your blue round one! It's a Princess and was made in Algonquin, IL! And I have three of the Chinese sewing baskets, and one has two jade rings on the top! Talk about a find! I'm going to have to get in touch with the shop I found the Princess because they had a duck, just like yours, but this one was mounted on top of a two-drawer square storage cabinet. I regret not getting it. The duck had a tomato on each side!
So glad your surgery went well. The anticipation leading up to it is worse than the procedure. Little Tutti is sitting in front of you and I think she's thinking that you are talking to her! Have you checked out Antique Needleworkers? I think you'll love their videos, 4 as if now set in a grist mill with numerous antiques around. Happy stitching...love your sewing baskets.
Hi Robin, thanks, yes I have been watching Antique Needleworkers. They are amazing. They have blown up on flosstube and their subscribers have grown so fast. I think Tootie does think I'm talking to her. She my baby!!
I was so glad to see your video today. I was hoping your cataract surgery went well. Happy one year anniversary! I always enjoy watching your videos. I'm having cataract surgery in April and am a little nervous about it! Hopefully all will be well. Take care and see you next time!
Good luck on your eye surgery. Let me know how you do. It really was simple but I do think the more you can keep your eye shut for the 1st 24hrs. the better it will feel.
So glad your cataract surgery went well! I finally bit the bullet and ordered Halloween Hijinx! LOL Yours is just so pretty. I’m always coming in on the tail end! I think I’ve mentioned before, but the Carolyn Manning flowers on the yellow fabric is beyond beautiful!! ❤
Happy that your cataract surgery went well, and that you're back with a video! The Caroline Manning Halloween piece looks great, as does the sampler girls piece you finished. You have so many good projects underway. You'll be an ideal tablemate with your red case of essentials at a retreat. The sewing box your husband found for you will be wonderful when you reupholster it with vintage looking fabric, maybe Blackbird's recent sampler fabrics or even actual stitching you have done. Thanks for a great visit!
Blackbird fabric would be nice! I have some vintage 30's reproduction fabric and also some 1880's Reproduction fabric also. I'll have to play around with them.
Hello Deana! It's so nice to see you again! You were definitely on my heart as I knew you were going through your eye surgery. I'm so glad everything went well. I really wish I could go Good Will and antique shopping with you because we have very similar tastes 😊 Thank you for responding to my last comments too. I LOVE the old key idea and chart and am excited to see it in progress as well as everything else. I finished stitching the project for my daughter, so I currently only have one wip 😁 I like the idea of doing some smalls in between for a change but can't settle on anything yet. I just love Tootie sitting in front of you, thinking that's where she should be if you are talking in that direction ☺️ Have a great couple of weeks and I look forward to seeing you again, Laurel 💖 🇨🇦
I love antiquing in different areas of the country. Never know what you will find. I think Tootie thinks I'm talking to her when she's on the table. She's so spoiled!❤️

Love that FLower Day on the yellow. Like the one with all the little houses.
Fun video as always. Thanks for the eye surgery update and I hope your recovery continues in a positive direction. Happy stitching to all!

I also had that done about 10 years ago.
Great projects.
You found some nice treasures!

So glad you are back stitching. It is COLD here in Las Vegas. Won't get above 49 today ! It is March 1st. So glad your eye surgery came out okay.

Your little red Case would be called a vintage train case. There’s several kinds of train cases that one in specific would be a make up train case.
I love antiquing also and recently did lower Maine with cool finds. I would love Praire Fires so will set out to find that book. Thanks! Weather here in Boston area just as quirky!!!
I double checked the author last night. It's by Caroline Fraser.
Oh my the key frame was a great find for your chart. Can’t wait to see how you redesign it.
Stitch a pair of birds for the pull out drawer with the two top doors you talked about replacing the fabric.
