  • therussiangeni... The Sybil Cut is one of the most known and seen cut in the world.
The Sybil Cut has also been called by laymen as the Dynamo Shuffle.
Dynamo has made this shuffle world known and very famous and interesting to learn.
When I learned the Sybil Cut, I learned the Dynamo's version of the Sybil Cut, and how I first learned it, was by watching Dynamo doing it in his performances frame by frame.
Then I made my own version of the Sybil Cut, and here it is. I use this when I'm performing.

Is this an actual cut? Is there a way to false cut?

+TheRussianGenius I actually think you explained it better and more thoroughly than 52kards and also his angles weren't very good

I've seen so many tutorials concerning this subject and all seem to be below par to say the least. Each instructor literally trips over their own words and must readjust/restart the moves seemingly each moment. Can someone recommend to me a good place to learn this? I've been studying cardistry for only a couple weeks and I have a few things down pat. This move looks super easy and obviously is but... geez Louise. This Russian Genius does indeed know his stuff but it's quite obvious he struggles to teach this subject. Understandable considering so many packets in different positions. I did not mean to mock or anything and I apologize if I came across as thus. I simply require more. For those who are curious? I have super-small and weak hands and can perform quite a few stunts after only a couple weeks (one-handed shuffle in TWO days with my micro-hands.) For those who are small handed like me and suggested moves/finger positions don't work then pause for a moment and look closer at the packets. We small handed folks need to actually rotate the odd packet here and there that others do not. Watch out for alignment of packets, folks with small hands! Also, if your teacher has a larger paw than you, changing the position of the index finger dramatically changes things (usually simply closer to the corners then a large handed person.)

seriously dog you totally gloss over the most difficult part of the move. I acknowledge my ineptitude but this tutorial is beneath you. I have never struggled through anything as much as this and I wouldn't be able to perform it at all if it wasn't for you but this tutorial has me fuming because i just can't follow the last most important step.

Guys, I'm 13 years old and I started using cards for about a month, I find myself pretty good for my experience level but i have one issue when it comes to perform flourishes like the Sybil cut, top shot etc. My hands are small and I find it really hard! Any tips guys? (I also have a 2 year old deck that can't thumb fan sometimes even cant do a one handed fan but I will be getting a new one soon). Thanks if you reply!

Have you thought about a poker deck which is smaller than a normal deck?

I love your tutorials and i do have the luxury of being able to rewind and watch things in slow mo but to your credit i think this could have been explained a lot better. basically just as the trick gets difficult and complicated you stop explaining things and just go wild with the hole "you can do this for 10 hours"thing. I am inexperienced and love your videos I just want you to update this one I guess is all I'm saying.

I already know this i just need to get it a bit more fluent and i need to drop cards less often. However, when i start practicing i notice i end up practicing an hour or more without even noticing. I started learning this like 4 days ago
