I just saw his video and now saw this comment
This was a really helpful tutorial. but just a few things i noticed while i was practicing:
the first few times that i was able to do the full spin and clasp the pen with my index finger, the stance i took in the beginning was holding the pen with my index and middle finger just above the point of center of balance (i am using a G-2 07). and i also kept my index finger a little low while doing the spin to keep the pen from hitting it and then falling down.
these tips literally helped me get 3-4 full spin-catches (lol) in a row.

edit: and definitely try to keep your thumb still. its super important to keep the pivot point stagnant or else the whole pen will wobble off.

I am stuck on the reverse😢
WAHHHHHHH okay the first move was frustrating so I just moved onto the push method and within minutes was actually able to do it. I like the speed you can utilize in retrying the push method because you can literally as fast as you can pick up the pen, just keep spinning it and dropping it and notice which ones are closer and feel it out that way. I'm so excited. Thanks!

Just a tip: * im not a pro but i find it much harder to learn with a small pen just like he said in the video. From personal experience, spinning a short pen took me months, but a long literally took me a few min. I dont have a spinning pen but i tried to tape 2 small pen together and it worked really well. as someone who cant even pick the pen up right, i have never been more mad at both myself and a pen in my whole life
I’m unsure as to if the push method is possible for me. My thumb is long but where it comes out of my hand, the joint is very prominent. Almost like a fully separate joint that pops up, so the pen naturally rests between my thumb and hand since there’s a rather large groove. The original thumb around is easy now, I got it down after a week or so, just using a "normal" pen. I’ll try to update if I find a way to do the reverse thumb.

This is definitely the most tutorial i found. Most tutorial is just like see my hand do it and u go do it exactly like how i did or just push the middle finger and the pen will flip and repeat. Like how exactly? Anyway Thank u very much for the detailed explanation.

for the push I thinkits imprtant for your thumb to be very straight so there is no real bumps to stop you =)) Also, If you are strugelling on the first trick, I did my first full spin when I acuaally stopped guessing the center of gravity. Find it, mark it or whatever and it will help so much
