I bought some Morgan Dollars and wanted to search the roll with you all to show coins we had inside. I purchased the coins for $870 which was a pretty good deal for these 18 coins. There were a lot of nice coins in the roll and I think we got our full value back. What do you all think? What's funny is, I looked at the thumbnail and w/out reading it I immediately thought, "half dollars". The as I started checking it out closely I saw the "silver dollars" in the tn and thought, "Whoa!". Very, VERY cool roll search that I thought I'd never see unless Marty took me back in the Delorean to 1900. Cool VAM find, as well as the CC mintmark. Thanks for sharing, Rob! Take care!
Heck yeah! I love these types of videos where you are looking through old silver for varieties, VAM's, etc.! And - cleaned or not - that VAM is a sweet find!
Nice coins. About 15 or 16 years ago I bought an 1882 Morgan in gorgeous condition for $18 except for a small scratch on Liberty's cheek. I still have it and it's never left the slip.
@brianlebrun2382 I love people like you. I'm way too OCD so I always put my coins in new 2×2s with my format written on them. But I love it when I buy coins, and they're in a really old flip where the staples are rusted and the plastic is all loose.
@@TheWinstonDouble actually that's what I meant...the 2x2. The Morgan is still in there with the dealer's writing and price I paid. As long as I have it human hands won't ever touch it.
@brianlebrun2382 I love touching my coins. By the edges, of course, I'm not a heathen. The 2×2 is just something to keep them in when I'm not looking at them. All coins find new custodians at some point. The silver and gold ones will outlast humankind. But the 2×2 is just really cool provenance. The older the card the cooler it is. I do really intricate calligraphy on mine, it blows people's minds when they see it. People want to buy them just for the art. It's kind of like my way of discouraging people from putting them in those plastic slabs. I'm a big fan of hand written provenance. I love those little circular pieces of paper that go in coin cabinets. They're really simple like "Henry VI: Groat 1462-1470" and then the name of the collector, and sometimes the cabinet coordinants like 4,6,2. Fourth drawer, sixth column, second row. So you can trace the coin back to it's original estate and exactly where it was kept. The best ones are always from dukes and earls and such because they usually have something written somewhere about their collection.
An all Morgan video is always fine with me..I prefer all Morgan, all the time, and all day !! In my honest opinion, $870 was a bit high. Even allowing $150 for the 90CC, that leaves $720 for the remaining 17 at $42 per. Not terrible, but not a great deal either. With saying this , I'm keeping in mind that you probably didn't shop around for the best deal either, I have zero doubt you could have gotten a smokin deal if you'd wanted to.😉 So with that said, I appreciate you takin it for the team here so we would have this Morgan dollar roll video to view 🤙👍😃
Hey rob don’t know if you remember me but I thought you said part 2 will be out today for wheat pennies from a previous video. When will that video be out?
hey Rob what a great morgan hunt just want let you know. on the 18 i found a 1951s nickel in xf or vg state i found this while hunting my aunts coins tell me if this was a good find ?
I know it my be a dumb question but there is a coin store in my grandmas town that has 29$-35$ morgans is that a rare find or are some worth that much less
Junk silver is typically constitutional silver that is not legible. Morgan's don't have to be graded to sell them. But you may not get as much for the coin as if it were graded.

Awesome deal Rob, Morgan's are my favorite coin, congrats on the Vam, hope all is well my friend 👍
As Artie Johnson use to say "Very Interesting"! Fun video, Happy Hunting! Stephen
It's interesting the details that show up under a camera / HD screen. The cleaned Morgans really stick out and you see then immediately!
Yep. For sure!
1899-O was the coolest one for sure. Really nice slicked out circulation cameo on it.
I know. I couldn’t leave it behind.
@@RobFindsTreasure It's a great look for a lowball!
Great video
Thanks Bethany!
Beautiful coins, thanks for running through them all. Always love that silver 'clink'.
Thanks for watching!
Well I’m the 7th one to make a comment. Only posted 3 minutes ago. I bought 2 rolls of half dollars today and found 9 40%er’s in them.
I trust your opinion on value for sure .

Any big 90% silver, is great silver.. 🤤

If some of them weren't cleared, it would be worth it.

That’s a good price for low grade Morgan’s for sure.
Omg vary cool🎉🎉🎉
Hi
You think it was worth 870? And are seated liberty dollars from 1857 actually worth as much as the internet says? Just curios
BOOM💥
What could a Morgan buy back then was it worth a week's wages
First
Yes and BOOM! 💥

do you want to send you bills for grading?
I have a few worth it
Who can turn down any Morgan for under $50?🎉🎉❤❤😊😊.
I see $500 worth of coins.
Time to get your vision checked. 👓 👀
Way to much and you know it come on man this is crazy to think this is good deal
I think you are new to the hobby.
A fair price was paid.
I don’t know why you paid more than 29 per coin.don’t understand. Their not certified coins. Is this not junk silver?

😂 might want to look up what Morgans se for compared to actual junk silver. Welcome to the hobby.
@@RobFindsTreasure there is millions of circulated Morgan’s out there and did you say that these are circulated or uncirculated coins
