@DaGoldSheep my tests are showing an improvement over the R15 due to the much better top exhaust fan. I’ll show how it compares to all the others though in my full review
Great video! My R16 should be arriving next week and I’m looking forward to giving it a whirl. I get that they are trying to listen to people, but the appeal for me is the unique wild Alienware designs, now it looks like everything else. Very nice - that’s a solid loadout. And I hear you about the design, I definitely prefer the more alien looking R15 design over the R16’s overly-minimalistic aesthetic. It looks generic, and while it matches the design scheme of their laptops I don’t necessarily think that’s what people want in their desktops. Understated laptops are great but when it comes to desktops (especially for gamers) I think most folks want something unique and flavorful.
damn im gonna go check that out..while looking at the intro to this video i think i def decided i liked the last generation more as well! sounds like a perfect loadout you got and the price is pretty average/on par especially if your happy with the look of the machine, i dont know if you could do better pricewise with the other good brands and have something stacked with rgb and or decent cooling w/ the best graphics card.
ive seen a comment or two about people saying they had problems with that highest tech spec and returned it twice and "didnt work"...dont know if it was hate. but supposedly the airflow in last years model is also supposedly really horrible.
I was thinking of getting this in the 4090 version since I want to game in 4k. Is that a good choice? I do not want a large tower. But does it make sense to still get the m18 for portable gaming since that same the best performance?
I wouldnt game in 4k right now unless youre okay with 60 max. Not to mention you prolly wont be doing ray tracing. I'd do 1440, even the 4090 is kinda mid max settings 1440p.
I've had some issues with the Alienware Command Center software on my laptop along with wifi dropping after being left on for a few hours. Gaming-wise it is great, but I think I'm going with Corsair this time around for a desktop.
@briantucker819 yeah Corsair is my favorite prebuilt brand as of right now. Between i8100 and i7400, I definitely liked the design of the i8100 better but for the money and power the i7400 was a better value

I believe they should make two to three chassis to choose from. A ultra high tower, High tower, mid tower for which they made and looks good. But I would like to see this design in a high to ultra high tower tower configuration with the same look for the mid just bigger.

I just recently bought a pre build pc from corsair it’s a newer one but my monitor keeps turning black and my pc fans kick up to 100 the only way to stop is is by holding the power button on the pc and resetting it, it does it about 4 times a day it’s scary bc i just got it spend a lot and i don’t know what to do i emailed and left a voicemail to them and nobody’s contacted me back someone please help me out!!!!
@fran0708 Short answer yes. :) Longer answer, depends on your budget and what you plan to do with it. It's got a great price to performance ratio but if you don't need something powerful and play basic games don't waste your money getting the top spec version of this PC.
I cannot explain HOW it happened, but I received this very configuration for $1503.99 in August. Did they goof? It's currently $1999 for my config. I'm definitely enjoying it though.
Hello! I was wondering if you knew how many FPS the aurora alienware r16 Core i7 14700F GeForce RXT 3050 would reach in Fortnite. Thanks for your support man, appreciate it.
I was thinking to buy this (i9-4070), but dell doesnot ship internationally. So, it would be helpful if you or anyone can provide me box dimensions and overall weight of box Will really appreciate
Alienware improved their PCs maybe 1.5 percent across the board, charged you more for it, still severely undervolted all components making them 1 tier lower in performance and smiled while doing it.
@Ultraman65 better airflow and thermals but current configurations of the R16 do not have the most powerful CPUs and GPUs available. So current R15 options are faster
whoever complained about the design is annoying ash that scifi design went hard and I was waiting for spec upgrades and the community just had to ruin a perfect product yet again
Can I have one of your pcs I got nothing I’m trying to get one but everyone rejects. And it’s ok if you can’t but fr you are my favourite TH-camr so far because you add so much detail.
If you don't think you will ever desire replacing your motherboard when PC components get faster and you're not one to upgrade as you go then yes this is a great deal for the performance you get. Do you think you will just replace your entire PC after several years or just upgrade parts?

I just recently bought a pre build pc from corsair it’s a newer one but my monitor keeps turning black and my pc fans kick up to 100 the only way to stop is is by holding the power button on the pc and resetting it, it does it about 4 times a day it’s scary bc i just got it spend a lot and i don’t know what to do i emailed and left a voicemail to them and nobody’s contacted me back someone please help me out!!!!
Im so pumped for this. I got the base model for 1100 with black friday deals. I might get a bigger ssd at some point cause 1tb is a bit low for me
thanks buying this right now. Good sale for 4070 ti super for 1,699.
would this be good as a first pc? i'm not great at processing research so i think a straight answer would be better for me haha
@fran0708 Short answer yes. :) Longer answer, depends on your budget and what you plan to do with it. It's got a great price to performance ratio but if you don't need something powerful and play basic games don't waste your money getting the top spec version of this PC.
Will this pc be able to stream and game at the same time? i am a content creator
Trying to buy soon a quick response will be great!
I'm thinking of getting the 4090 version, any thoughts?
why isnt the wifi built in? my 6700xt on MW2 can get over 150FPS on max settings.
You could do your own custom build with a 4070ti for that price
@inf4moustwin15 yeah prebuilts aren't for those who know how to build their own and like to do it
I plan on buying the 4070, don't feel like spending 3k so it's nice to see it'll be worth it
should i put thermal paste or not i got the r16 i7 14 gen 4070 super
I am still using an Alienware Aurora R5 that still works so I think I will be shopping for one of these soon.
i got alienware aurora r8 still good working but i need 14th gen new year for more power gaming i will order on alienware aurora r16 price £1,500 uk
I take it no rgb lighting om the other side in the front like the left front?
I cannot explain HOW it happened, but I received this very configuration for $1503.99 in August. Did they goof? It's currently $1999 for my config.
I'm definitely enjoying it though.
Hello! I was wondering if you knew how many FPS the aurora alienware r16 Core i7 14700F GeForce RXT 3050 would reach in Fortnite. Thanks for your support man, appreciate it.
So you could upgrade the G force to that 3:39 ?
Great review
I was thinking to buy this (i9-4070), but dell doesnot ship internationally.
So, it would be helpful if you or anyone can provide me box dimensions and overall weight of box
Will really appreciate
he is very honest .great
I applaud Dell for moving the bar forward, however compared to the HP Omen's, specifically 45L I find this to be lacking on so many levels.
Hey when are you doing quest 3
Is it VR compatible?
Alienware improved their PCs maybe 1.5 percent across the board, charged you more for it, still severely undervolted all components making them 1 tier lower in performance and smiled while doing it.
Good review!
where u get that knife from
How many hd slots are there?
Just picked up one with i9-14900F,32GB,1TB,4070Ti Super for $1700
@pickledpeppers1577 Congrats!
you pulled the protective film off of it ... its lost half its value now
beautiful PC, But imo i like the aurora r15 better
Yeah some people prefer the R15 design. I just got tired of the same thing every year so it was like a breath of fresh air to see something new
hi total noob here. are display ports better than HDMI for gaming?
Personally my R13 runs great maybe I’m just lucky, but i don’t have heat issues with it
i just ordered mine it says it comes the 3rd im so exited first pc ever
@nasirebest7029 woa first ever?! Congrats! Which configuration did you get?
Is it better then the R15?
@Ultraman65 better airflow and thermals but current configurations of the R16 do not have the most powerful CPUs and GPUs available. So current R15 options are faster
@@JustinTechTips Awesome thanks I’ll just shoot for the R15
whoever complained about the design is annoying ash that scifi design went hard and I was waiting for spec upgrades and the community just had to ruin a perfect product yet again
PLEASE DO NZXT PLAYER THREE PRIME!!
Got the r16 with i7 13700f 16GB ddr5 and 4060ti
I got the 4060 myself, I like the look too
me too only paid 1100 on dell webside! It looks awsome plenty of power for my needs and same price as good low end gaming computers
Can I have one of your pcs I got nothing I’m trying to get one but everyone rejects. And it’s ok if you can’t but fr you are my favourite TH-camr so far because you add so much detail.
Am in kenya, how can I get this cpu
@deejaykenchd7481 unfortunately I don’t think they are shipping to Kenya
got it for 550usd (800 ish cad) on marketplace same specs but 4060 instead of 4070
So if im just now starting to get my first pc. Should i start with this one?
with the tempertures. How would i make it keep cool through my gaming ?
If you don't think you will ever desire replacing your motherboard when PC components get faster and you're not one to upgrade as you go then yes this is a great deal for the performance you get. Do you think you will just replace your entire PC after several years or just upgrade parts?
@@JustinTechTips well several years . Prolly replace.
Hi mate Iam using the link but its going with dollor Iam in UK can get this in UK link
Is this overkill if I just want to run Autodesk products such as AutoCad and Revit ?
Yes but it depends heavily on your project complexity. But for an average user, this is way overkill.
Both program you mentioned seems to be cpu heavy rather than gpu heavy so this specific config isn't very budget effective.
Just bought it but why does it take so long to ship (3 week)
mine said same but came in one week
most beautiful alienware pc for now. nice work dell. great video
I’m getting mines this fall
Do the quest 3
