I just use the sata plug it gives and leave out the 3 pin and Im able to control the fan speed manually. Only issue is that I cant use the "No Stop" which is fine by me. Know if this may cause any issues? I haven't hit any that I see

Looks good, functions good and it is Noctua. But costs 25usd whereas the Aliexpress one for 1.25 costs functions identically for a fraction of the Noctua one. They have many products with a little premium on them which are stil worth it. But 25usd is outrageous for a fan controller.
That's fine to buy other products from other places that are identical and are cheaper. I'm not sponsored but I love noctua products. Reliability is a big thing with me. A matching theme is another thing with me or at least I try. I figured if I use the same products there would not have compatibility issues that I can't foresee for something so simple that shouldn't have any issues. But I am a simp and noctua is my waifu.
@@LordInfin8 I also very much like Noctua, when building a PC for 2.5k, spending 200 on Noctua fans is easily justified. Good looks, unmatched warranty and quality, top of the line performance. But 70usd for a Diy desk fan... I wouldnt spend that much.

Thank you! I bought this and used the extensions to connect 3 fans to one PWM connector. If I understand what you are saying- this will make the MB confused?
If it's a 4 pin 2 of the other connectors will be missing one.
The MB only needs one signal otherwise you get wrong readings
