The rubber mounting pegs don't work with the Corsair 4000D (white) Airflow case. In fact, the slots on the fan mounting face are too wide for the screws. I had to use after-market fan mounting screws. It says they're 5mm x 10mm screws out of the Noctua box, which may be, but the slots are almost exactly 5mm, maybe 4.95mm wide--just too close and made for some interesting moments. So, we'll live with it and see how the fans themselves work and ignore the slight stumbling block this time around. It is after all our first PC build from scratch.
Love noctua fans. Been using the a12x25 as radiator fans and 4x a14 iPPc as case fans.

wondering if you would be able to help me.
I am wanting to power 6 industrial 3000 rpm fans from mains power, i am using them for cooling down a commercial ice cream machine during summer. Any idea how to can power them from main ? I want to firstly connect them to a controller to be able to adjust the speed, which is the easy part, however then i dont know how to run power to that controller without a PC ?
From what I can see. You didn't use the Low Noise Adapters all. But mostly went Y-cord into Extension?

You need whatever motherboard software you have. (I.e. the software from your motherboard manufacturer)

Quick question do the fans come 1 per pack?
Anyone here try out the low noise adapter? I think it's redundant since we can lower the fan rpm from our bios.
I think it just stops the top end speeds but yeah you could just limit them with controls
