I know because I was in her same shoes, about 1984, going through a very terrible time in my life, lost, and broken, crying, as I was driving. Then you came on the radio, singing "He'll do it again", and it caught my attention. The way you sing so sincerely from the heart, with a voice I could trust, I was just believing those words you were singing, and they went to my heart. Then Bishop G.E.Patterson came on after you, also with a speaking voice I could trust, so I listened to his sermon. What you two did that day was put hope back into my heart, and I went home and began praying on my knees daily, and reading my Bible, and it wasn't long before my faith began increasing. I like how she didn't shy away from saying Whitney left an "opening" for that surreptitious spirit of destruction to slip in because it's the truth. Since Whitney's death Bobby has gone out of his way to suggest Whitney introduced him to hard drugs, but I think it's clear to all and sundry that whether or not that is in fact the case, his presence in her life exacerbated her own already excessive drug use. So when Pastor Shirley says Whitney left an "opening" it is my belief that she's saying that's where Bobby gained access and effectively what was eating him, eventually ate her up until God forced "The Jaws of Death" open.

I like how she didn't shy away from saying Whitney left an "opening" for that surreptitious spirit of destruction to slip in because it's the truth. Since Whitney's death Bobby has gone out of his way to suggest Whitney introduced him to hard drugs, but I think it's clear to all and sundry that whether or not that is in fact the case, his presence in her life exacerbated her own already excessive drug use. So when Pastor Shirley says Whitney left an "opening" it is my belief that she's saying that's where Bobby gained access and effectively what was eating him, eventually ate her up until God forced "The Jaws of Death" open.
