As an avid Starset fan, I can honestly say that this is a great cover. One of the greatest things about these guys is the personal spin they put on the songs they cover, and they always nail it. It’d be interesting to see how they do FAULTLINE by Starset; it’s got a very unique beat and Dustin’s voice improved a lot from My Demons to FAULTLINE. Starlight would also be a cool one; it’s more of a rock ballad and I’d love to see how these guys cover it.

I like the rougher feel of your voices. At first I wasn't sure but the more I listened, the more I liked that coarse feel. Like the lyrics seem to have a deeper emotional to with it. Good on you two peeps~!

I think the lower and slower made it match the song and with Jonathan and Caleb's voices the original tempo just wasn't right for them. Music is about expressing yourselves in your own way. Not bad, but I wanna give an Honest Critique here: I think it would have been better if Caleb had gone a little higher on his tone. The attempt at a lower Pitch sounded off to me, for some reason. Not enough to ruin the cover, mind you, but it just didn't sound as good as I think it could have been. Combined with Jon's normal tone, The slightly higher pitch would have made a perfect Harmony (Something you guys have easily made work in past songs) that would have really made this cover shine. Still, not bad overall. Might still add this to my playlist. Just wanted to throw my thoughts out there.
John Tague I’ve heard the original so many times that it took my brain a good 15 seconds to realize there was nothing wrong and he was just singing in a different key
To each, his own, I guess. Like I said, It's not entirely bad. I got used to it after a bit, I'm just suggesting a Different way of going about it. When you started doing covers with Jonathan I always felt like you are a little bit missplaced in this dark themed and kinda aggresiv musicvideos, but now I feel like you've really grown into this! Sky Dancer There is honestly no song of Starset that I don’t like. They’re all beautiful,if you’re drawing though,I highly suggest Transmissions from start to finish. The songs go together seamlessly!
This cover is a masterpiece. The fact it's in a lower key allows for a different experience than listening to just a cover of the song. The feel of it actually feels a lot more darker, personally listening to it made me feel a sense of hopelessness that I did not actually feel in the original, which I found very cool because it actually gave me chills. Because it is in a different key, the middle has a bigger impact allowing the listener to have a glimpse of hope into the song only to be hit with the realization that no matter how much you try to help everything is bound to end in doom. Caleb and Jonathan have really shown there is different ways to interpret the song and how it makes people feel. I've been listening to them for years and the work they put into something they enjoy is something that just makes my day.
I felt their voices fit the song exceptionally well. Not the original incarnation maybe, but their voices fit the actual lyrics and their performance is excellent. Very impressive, guys.

This is insanely badass, you guys killed it! I remember hearing the original on a speedpaint when I was like, 12. Amazing how time flies, I haven't heard this song in years! I'm not someone who tends to like rock covers, (I'm more of a pop/punk/alternative person, although I do listen to a lot of musicals) but this was amazing; better than the original if I'm honest. Something about this cover seems more... raw? Like the emotion feels way more powerful in this version, not to mention you both have a lot more power/force in your voices than the original singer (no offence intended to Starset, it's just an observation). I like the idea of taking it down a step when it cones to key as well; makes it feel more original, and makes it fit y'all's voices better. I've listened to Starset for years and I just wanted to say that this version sounds great. Obviously it sounds different because the style and singers are different, but that's kind of the point is it not? I really like both renditions. Great job to both of you!

At the start I didn’t think I was gonna like it because of how much lower you guys sang it, but as the cover progressed I realized I actually like it better than the original. Great job!

Not bad, but I wanna give an Honest Critique here:
I think it would have been better if Caleb had gone a little higher on his tone. The attempt at a lower Pitch sounded off to me, for some reason. Not enough to ruin the cover, mind you, but it just didn't sound as good as I think it could have been. Combined with Jon's normal tone, The slightly higher pitch would have made a perfect Harmony (Something you guys have easily made work in past songs) that would have really made this cover shine.
Still, not bad overall. Might still add this to my playlist. Just wanted to throw my thoughts out there.
John Tague I’ve heard the original so many times that it took my brain a good 15 seconds to realize there was nothing wrong and he was just singing in a different key
To each, his own, I guess. Like I said, It's not entirely bad. I got used to it after a bit, I'm just suggesting a Different way of going about it. I'm not even comparing it to the original, since that's not the point; They're doing it their own way. It just sounded off to me, is all. Again, just my opinion.

The cover is good, but what really stands out for me is the Video. When you started doing covers with Jonathan I always felt like you are a little bit missplaced in this dark themed and kinda aggresiv musicvideos, but now I feel like you've really grown into this! And the new Haircut supports this harsh look pretty good! ;)

Sky Dancer There is honestly no song of Starset that I don’t like. They’re all beautiful,if you’re drawing though,I highly suggest Transmissions from start to finish. The songs go together seamlessly!
This cover is a masterpiece. The fact it's in a lower key allows for a different experience than listening to just a cover of the song. The feel of it actually feels a lot more darker, personally listening to it made me feel a sense of hopelessness that I did not actually feel in the original, which I found very cool because it actually gave me chills. Because it is in a different key, the middle has a bigger impact allowing the listener to have a glimpse of hope into the song only to be hit with the realization that no matter how much you try to help everything is bound to end in doom. Caleb and Jonathan have really shown there is different ways to interpret the song and how it makes people feel. I've been listening to them for years and the work they put into something they enjoy is something that just makes my day.

I remember hearing the original on a speedpaint when I was like, 12. Amazing how time flies, I haven't heard this song in years!
I'm not someone who tends to like rock covers, (I'm more of a pop/punk/alternative person, although I do listen to a lot of musicals) but this was amazing; better than the original if I'm honest. Something about this cover seems more... raw? Like the emotion feels way more powerful in this version, not to mention you both have a lot more power/force in your voices than the original singer (no offence intended to Starset, it's just an observation).
I like the idea of taking it down a step when it cones to key as well; makes it feel more original, and makes it fit y'all's voices better.
Keep up the astounding work, guys, can't wait to hear what's next!!! ^-^
