Super interesting, I also learned that two out of three of my literal farm dogs would fail this test 😂 they free roam our property and strange dogs are generally always a threat to livestock, plus they would fail half these tasks simply due to being put on a leash. They are great goat/poultry dogs but this environment did not personally replicate a farm dogs standard life(of course safety precautions). My own dogs would be very confused as to why they were being leashed up, crated etc when generally they're to stay out of the way laying in the shade or against a building, unless working the animals.
I think the only aspect of AKC farm testing that is somewhat useful is when they walk by livestock/animals. If the dog is too interested it’s not good but at the same time I believe they should at least acknowledge them.
