Oh wow! That is a cool place. I have been through Bartow many times. The Bartow cheerleaders are known nationally. I go through there on my way to the Wauchula and Avon City areas
Amtrak sleeper rooms are my favorite for cross-country. Undisturbed view during the day and nice rocking you to sleep at night. I wish they could get their act together in terms of reliability, is all.
The 'gators in South Carolina, swampy Charleston County, Low-Country, around Navy Housing where I used to live had a low, gutteral, good vibe resonnating from them that'd terminate with what sounded like
Cool elevated boardwalk. Can't imagine all the work went into building that. I wonder if the construction workers got hazard pay? 🐊 Cool 6 track crossing. 👍🇺🇲
That six-track crossing in Auburndale, Florida looks like a wonderful place to watch trains. All the trains that you captured at this crossing and the empty phosphate train in Bowling Green, Florida were interesting to watch. You were lucky to catch the two Amtrak trains in Auburndale, Florida. Thank you for uploading this video for us to enjoy.
Sure glad to see a full length video again. You tube don't send them anymore. I only find them through my subscription. I would like your views on what is going on with all of these N.S. derailment. 3 more since East Palestine. That is a lot in a very short time.
You might know this already but until the end of the 1980's, Amtrak used to run north of the diamond towards the Wildwood Subdivision in Coleman. Today, you have two rail trails and a long abandoned right of way.
Good morning JT - This is a terrific video; I like seeing passenger train activity; hopefully it will start picking up nation wide. Thanks JT for making my day!
That first freight train had a nice rebuild in the lead position :) A nice phosphate train - it's interesting that phosphate is used in so many commercial applications. I still think you need to be careful around those gators :)
That first location was an excellent stop especially with the big Crossing as well as yard tracks and spurs. A great phosphate train with the 2 SD40S but boy do those cars get dirty. Can't help but think you misread the map maybe you thought it was Bowling Green KY not FL b Between yesterday's wallboard cars and today's Lumber cars it still shows how much rebuilding is going on after the last hurricane. You and Mrs Tooth be careful on that Narrow Gauge walkway
Lot of Amtrak down there. Wow that 3 foot bridge is super cool, good way to view wildlife at its best. But no petting the alligators 🐊 🤣 Awesome Florida video... looking forward to more !! 👍👍👍
Great good video, mr Jaw Tooth. A windy time there when you made this video, but very good weather you have sun. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands 🇾🇪🇺🇸.
Great video JT ...the boxcar @5:26 besides being a new car it is the first time I have seen a yellow box car with yellow doors ..all the ones I see have black doors like the car in front of it.Im from Australia so dont see as many as you guys in US see.
The first Amtrak train (#97) was the Silver Meteor & that was a typical length of 9 cars for that train & not too long. The Palmetto train service goes between New York City & ends in Savannah, GA. It doesn't go into FL. Train #92 is the Silver Star & goes northbound & not southbound. I've been on those trains about 25-30 roundtrips over the last 15 or so years. I liked it better when the sleepers were in front of the train because it was a smoother ride but Amtrak changed that several years ago because passengers complained about the horn during night crossings. You're probably back in Ohio but if you're still in FL, you should go down to West Palm and take the Brightline between there & Miami. Their business class is a nice service.
Brian that was an amazing video have a wonderful time down there in FLORIDA I hope u get to see alan from millenniumforce and louie from quacky louie adventures 😊
That last AmTrac was the same one you watched just before you moved. The engines had 10 and 113 on them. The must have stopped and somehow you got in front of them again
Yeah, in spite of what some people say, that's not dead track. You saw all the cars parked there. I used to live right by there that's what some people call the Auburndale sub. It has two main lines and four sidetracks. Those are maintained since they are service entrances into various business entities.
Would love to take a train trip. I would have to leave from Chicago & that's a 6 hour drive. I lived in Florida for 18 years & every winter I so wish that's where I was.😢
Great catches. You got a lot of great footage down there. That catwalk trail in the swamp was cool. Thanks for sharing!
Welcome to central Florida Polk county.your in the Heart of it. The phosphate train goes right through Bartow where I live can't miss it
Oh wow! That is a cool place. I have been through Bartow many times. The Bartow cheerleaders are known nationally. I go through there on my way to the Wauchula and Avon City areas

You gotta catch the Bright Line train. Its privately owned and goes from Miami to West Palm Beach. Very beautiful looking train to.
Runs on some of and parallel to the FEC tracks.
Soon to be running all the way to Orlando airport..
Sure glad to see a full length video again. You tube don't send them anymore. I only find them through my subscription.
I would like your views on what is going on with all of these N.S. derailment. 3 more since East Palestine. That is a lot in a very short time.
Not to mention the CSX derailment in West Virginia yesterday, train hit a rock slide the size of a bus.
I'm way behind JT I'll catch up on your videos have a nice day 😁
Enjoy all your videos hope your enjoying your time in Florida
I hope your trip to Florida is going well. Love those Amtrak trains.
Thanks for the tour through the swamp, JT, and the info about it. That has to be a fascinating hike .. I need to put that on my list. Y'all have fun.
J.T.,,,,,,,,that norfie is the cutest cat........i love that guy..........i'm glad you take such good care of him.......
You might know this already but until the end of the 1980's, Amtrak used to run north of the diamond towards the Wildwood Subdivision in Coleman. Today, you have two rail trails and a long abandoned right of way.

Great report Mr. Jaw Tooth! Glad to see trains, forest and Chessie & Norfie. 😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I have seen Amtrak 97 a few times in North Carolina.
CSX7799 looking well weathered. Gpod modelling project. Another great video. Tks.

Thanks for letting me watch trains in faraway places. San Francisco got no through traffic.
Great videos J.T. look forward to seeing them.
I liked seeing the phosphate train and Swamp walk was cool 😎, Amtrak Nathan air horns are unique!🛤🚂
2nd on that picking up nationwide on passenger service. Looks like snow next week in KY and OH.
Great Florida video thanks jaw tooth you always know where to go to find great places for trains
JT the Railfan 😉
I think the other railroads are all stepping up on track work in lite of the Ohio derailment. I don't think they'd wanna be in NS shoes.
CSX has been improving in Florida for years. This is nothing new.
@@robk1310 Well it's new to me cause I'm in the UK
Thank you for another fine video. 👍😀
That looks like a good place to catch slow moving trains! Good stuff!
Good trains. Walkway looks shaky. Norfie - the furniture destroyer! Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
Thanks for the awesome AMTRAK footage! Just a great video all around! Thanks...
That Cat Walk would be fun at night !
Got yourself a quick little horn salute from SB Amtrak. Have to admit, that was a sick sounding horn though. Keep 'em coming JT!

Three Amtrak's in one video! Is that a record 🤣? Would I do the catwalk? I'd probably think twice . . . 👍👍👍👍👍
Another excellent video JT!!!
Centerbeam x9, all empty
Love the Amtrak footage. It doesn't come through this part of my state
Another great video.
Thanks!
@@FabianDiazTrainsTrucksNCars Thanks for watching !
Our electric is provided by Big Bend power.
Been down there before at highlands Hammock, interesting place JT!
Cool place to shoot video of trains in Florida
Great video. Yikes on that walkway.

Not at all. lol

9 Amtrak cars
The best !👌
Great Catches JT!
When you went to Florida, what part of GA did you come into? If you came through Hart County GA that's where I live.
Any closer to that alligator and his name will be Jaw tooth, as you being inside him! Laughs!
Nice Video Jaw Tooth
🚂🌴🇮🇳🌹🚂
CSX 7505 locomotive looks brand new or repainted
Very cool!
The "clean" UP ox car looks like a rebuild and repainted. The UP logo is not UP standard.
👍👍👍
Great video JT. I'm new to railfanning and wondering what kind of camera equipment you use to get such clear videos with so little shake.
Had the Amtrak been to Tampa, or was that what it was doing between the two times you saw it?
Good Morning Jaw Tooth.
No graffiti on that csx grey hopper train in the beginning. Never seen that before
So you got the same Amtrak twice. Engine's 10 and 113.
Would love to take a train trip. I would have to leave from Chicago & that's a 6 hour drive. I lived in Florida for 18 years & every winter I so wish that's where I was.😢
Sounds great! I rode Amtrak from Cincinnati to Orlando. Took me two days but it was worth it
Awesome catch jaw tooth
