    I need an mpc in my life that's what this channel has really taught me. I am running a td3, monologue, deepmind 12, toraiz AS1 and elektron model samples, launch control, launchpad and push. It's madness. An MPC would really be a great brain. Ableton is cool and all but my kid needs the computer for minecraft so....

      we all need an MPC in our lives I'm afraid...

      @@AnalogKitchen Aww shucks. Maybe in a few months here. I've been using Ableton for drums with a 303, toraiz, deepmind, and monolgue. I bought a Model Samples which is about to be for sale. I am 100 percent sure of all the other gear. Love it.
      Anyhow thanks for your videos again. Looking forward to more

    That mixer sounds interesting similar to what the Roland MX-1 does, its also a 'Performance Mixer' that works as a regular mixer, audio interface & includes FX such as delay, filter, scatter etc., and a one of a kind FX sequencer.

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine has different features though and I will say away from that green color 🤪

    solid tip about the shuffle and keeping it focused on just the snare or the elements that people pick up on. too much shuffle with everything working against each other ends up sounding sloppy

    What are you switching on the Octa from the MPC?
    Are you sending mute messages?

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Program CC to switch patterns. And instantaniously!

      @@AnalogKitchen in the insert event what type do you select program mix automation or track automation and is it at 1:1:0 for all inserts events?

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s restart and start stop. Commands 35 and 34. One on the 1st measure and one on the last. On a dedicated Octa track for cc’s.

      @@jamiesmith1776 have you enabled the program change receive on the Octatrack? Check out Octa manual page 95 (mk1). All the receives need to be set ON. Also set a midi channel between the devices so the Octa listens

    I was wondering.
    I see the benefits of using the Multiclock from E-Rm but have a question.
    I see that you're using the Multiclock in a dawless environment.
    Is it possible to use it with a DAW?
    I have a bunch of synths to connect and i think i can use it pretty good in my setup in combination with plug-ins and hardware.
    Maybe a dumb question but since you are using it every day you're the Multiclock expert here ;)

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it was intended to be used with ableton even. I use it as I have to straighten out some of the synths timing wise. And it sends out different things like DIN SYNC, TRIGGER and MIDI of course

    Just take a A&H Xone:464 and add the effects of a DJM-V10

    The plucks are way too high over your voice and driving me insane! I just want to know how you're routing midi using usb and 5 pin din in/outs together but I thank u
    anyways.

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Noted about the plucks! I just route the synths that have MIDI through conventional connections and the USB synths through their own ports. The MPC handles itself well!
