Such informative and demonstrated video. Thank you so much. 🙏
However it's saddening to see the infested succulents. 😢

I can so identify with your gardening problems . Living in Assam gives us a very long wet season and gardening is a constant battle against the elements . We have a large garden with a pond ( had it dug n cleared up to save on cleaning up area) . This works as a wonderful rain water harvest idea in the winter and dry weather .

Yes large gardens and rainy areas have their own problems and as rightly mentioned not all can relate with these problems. So I focussed to weeding in pots only.

Thanks a lot . Good to know that you can relate to me and yes, your own pond may have its own challenges of maintaining it. There are plus and minus points but in these days of limited spaces, some of us are blessed to have large gardens.

But I do try to maintain some semblance of a lawn …. But ofcourse it’s a losing battle !

Now many are having gardens without de-weeding as they have their own natural ecosystem apparently. In pots I guess it is a no-no.

Not weeding can become hiding places for snakes and other insects. Also breeding ground for 🦟 . I therefore limited the video to container gardening only

Now the new trend is known as Re wilding our gardens … no weeding … which is very labour intensive and not Eco sensitive .

Maybe I am an old school gardener. Weeds can look unsightly and when they grow too big it would be difficult to spot snakes and other insects

@@MyGardenMyPassion Hate weeds too . I too am Old school … just mentioned a new trend which I recently saw on TH-cam. Very new wave and Western in concept .
