Ive done this so many times, sparring was when i was noticing it the most when getting pushed back, your channel has helped me a lot through my start in boxing, thanks and keep up the content
When I moving, I'm losing its length and width, especiall my width is narrow...so shaking easily, losing center. I try to focus on leg positing rather than punching. Thank you, Master!
Those who correct instructors on a craft that they have ate, slept, and drank concern me. Even in my own strength I realize I have merely an opinion to those who have been where I aim to go. I eat what an instructor gives me, fail at it, and develop a frustration to do anything to avoid the feeling that one day they might have a thought that Ive wasted their time. Its called respect. He figures if you can nail down basics, you can learn. You have to REALLY listen to things he says at times. Hes very wise. Heres a strong punch: EVERYTHING comes from the ground up. Your balance is key because the foot pivots and transfers it. Thats why power punchers can rarely throw hard unless planted. They need their FEET under them. Strong calves and knees. He drills on rolling from the knees. Thats why. The power travels through them up to the hip. The knees are a key destination for power. The hip swings the power to the shoulder and arm, but the hip must fully extend for maximum power or you shortcut the power. The shoulder snaps the power like a rubber band- the forearm, wrist and fist are one stiff unit like a sledgehammer where the power ends up. I questioned why Duran rolled with hooks. I watched clips over and over even in slo mo...Then I saw it. You only gain a "feel" from learning the correct way, or nature, and then theres room for your personality. Thats why these are fundamentals. I still practice this orthodox and southpaw because of my PERSONALITY in switch hitting- Im orthodox by nature. Im a righty. Nature, PERSONALITY. Everyone thinks they stand correctly until you get pivoted, shifted, or angled on, lose your balance, and fall right into a knockout blow because of their PERSONALITY. Boxers wait for mistakes and become opportunists. And being too focused on a basic is never time wasted. Do it over and over until you DONT focus on it. Focus until you dont focus.
