Howdy y’all. Hope y’all’s weekend has been great so far. Today I’m coming at y’all with the very first fixed blade knife I ever bought, the Benchmade 145SBT Nimravus Cub in 154CM. I want to say I bought this knife in 2005, and it was my EDC work knife for years.

Is this knife now discontinued ?
I’m trying to buy one but can’t find it anywhere.
Yes, it was discontinued several years ago. But, I’ve actually seen it on some retail sites. Let me look back in my history and see if I can find the sites. If I can, I’ll post them.

The current Nimravus is awesome! I have one, just haven’t done a review on it yet. It’s a full size knife, but just a little longer on blade length. If you like the cub, you’ll like the full size. I’ll post a pic of it soon for you.

Lastly, the knife would go on my body armor. Which is one reason why I considered the cub because it’s more compact and saves space.
So, I looked at my usual online sites and couldn’t find any cubs for sale anymore…disappointing! Also, my son took the full sized Nimravus, so I don’t have a pic, but the site to the exact model I have is here:

I would also suggest the Adamas if you want to stick with Benchmade, which is probably at the top of my list for production knives. Link is here:

Lastly, although I’ve never carried one, I know people who have and it works great for body armor carriers. It’s the Benchmade SOCP. Check it out here:

I’ve ordered several knives from Knives Ship Free and have had no issues. I’ve also ordered from Blade HQ and Knife Center.
