Hi Terry. Thank you so much for sharing this link with our viewers and for offering such a fantastic publication for free. I will pin this post to the top of the page for the our viewers. Cheers Pascale
I want to send you guys a huge warm thank you from wintery Finland for this unique and beautiful series of videos sailing in the Kimberley & pristine NW Australia. I've never been to Australia but i have been in awe of how natural and unspoilt your beautiful country is. You guys have such a natural ability for storytelling and teaching and i have had two wonderful days traveling and learning alongside you. The abundance of fish and clear safe drinking water from streams seems like a different planet compared to the Baltic sea. I really enjoyed your sense of humour and the respect you have shown to your environment. Many of us in Europe think Australia is full of crocs, snakes and poisonous spiders etc, but you have the old knowledge how to appreciate and avoid these risks while been fascinated by them at the same time. Lastly , thank you for a vivid tours of the rock paintings and most of all for just being yourselves on camera, this is my all time favourite find on you tube. I hope you guys get the fair wind and health to keep travelling and continue as ambassadors for an amazing Australia.
Thank you Gavin, we are both moved by your kind words. It is a beautiful place and our enjoyment is doubled by sharing it. We have many miles of wilderness to cover so we hope you will continue to join us in the new year and perhaps share this channel with others that, like you, enjoy a simple natural adventure. Welcome aboard Gavin.
you 2 guys are a credit to australia with your interesting intelligent beautiful photography. and great sailing advice in this amazing part of australia thank you so much
That was fantastic with all the information provided on the wildlife species, local fauna, and history of the indigenous people, peppered with your natural charisma and mutual respect each other and the environment. Wonderful thank you. I’m now eager to watch more of your adventures.
Absolutely, you are inspiring. Free Range Sailing and Dylan Winter's Keep Turning Left are the best sailing channels on TH-cam, if for no other reason than your unadulterated presentations of your respective home countries. Love it! Here's to another year of smooth sailing!
I have been following your channel for a while. I decided to go back o the start and watch it all. WA is amazing and the Kimberley area is unreal. I think I could spend a few years exploring that area. Ao amazing and beautiful. Looking forward to the rest of the videos!!
I appreciate the opportunity to travel along with you. I'm forced to be largely idle here awaiting a cardiac procedure in a few weeks and your travel log helps to pass the time and escape. It's great to see folks like you tuned to a different life channel. Happy trails.
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would like to thank you for documenting it. Geez, it just had everything any couch sailor could want. Thank you so much and may all your travels be safe and as kind as you both are. cheers.
now on the bucket list, this series is definitely inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing guys and I look forward to getting caught up to your more recent adventures!
I realize this last post of your The Kemberley's series is two years old now. I must say I have enjoyed the series a great deal, the area is incredibly beautiful and the aboriginal rock art out of this world. Both of you provide interesting commentary and keep things rolling along nicely while I learn, thank you both. Like Troy I too am a hunter by nature, so I pick up on things like his way of moving through the bush in that measured, always alert, pace. I too feel an excitement akin to his when I watch him (and Pascale) land fish. Watching either of you climb over and among those rock formations somewhat alarms me; one does not do that so freely in parts the US due to encounters with venomous snakes. I trust both of you to be fully aware however so remind myself to not worry for you. Both of you know fully what you are about.
Love Pascale in the natural shower. What a beauty. Can't imagine how good that felt after tromping around in the heat. I'm writing this May 2 2018 and am so happy to have discovered your videos. You seem like such close friends, just adds to the wonderful peaceful feeling of the videos.
Without a doubt, the most interesting and educational channel I have watched on You Tube. And that is after how relaxing your choices of music are included into the films. Very well done to both of you.
New viewer from South Wales UK, guys. I need to be up in the morning, but I’m now on my 3rd video of yours. Superb channel. You are living your dream and you’re both delightful. You’re both so informative and knowledgeable, and Pasquale you simply don’t stop smiling😊 keep up the great work.
New subscriber here from Hawaii. Absolutely hooked on this youtube channel! The BEST outdoor program I have seen here, or anywhere, really. So much to love about this: So much native knowledge, respect for the environment and sustainable living, and most of all, so much love and respect for each other. You make literally the perfect couple. I'm also amazed at how similar the fishes are to the ones here in Hawaii. Keep up the great work.
I think it is neat that you guys get to catch and eat almost every kind of fish in the ocean- all the really good, gourmet fish, and yet you take time to catch and eat some regular inland brim when you get the chance!
Yes, I have been inspired. I've wanted to visit the rivers in remote parts of Oz for a while, but even more so now. I just need to prepare myself and my boat, I know the boat can do it, I just don't know if I have the cahones to travel that far by boat! Thanks for the very, very enjoyable videos, I look forward to your future up-loads.
Hey, you two, thank you both for allowing people to come along with you on your adventure, enjoyed all eps, and have tried the yummie food methods you have shared with us, once again thank you both for the effort of putting this together, I leave you in peace, my peace I give you, from where the red earth meets the blue sea, happy Christmas.
Well done guys, that was an amazing adventure and you captured it beautifully ,thanks so much for taking us along . Looking forward to your next trip, cheers from Jervis bay.
Another wonderful episode. Glad to see you two made it safely to Darwin. Thanks for explaining the algae, and that ancient riverbed is something I have never seen before. Looking forward to the next leg of your adventure.
Thanks RJ. The algae often gets confused for man-made pollution it's so thick sometimes. It's really alive with life at this time of year in the northern ocean.
You two are freakin' awesome! So down to earth and informative (but not boring). I watch a lot of sailing videos and I have never felt compelled to compliment a channel until finding yours. Troy, I reckon you are a legit handy fellow to have around and Pascale, you are inspiring as well .....both with great attitudes. Keep up the great videos!!
We share your sentiment. The Northern Territory crocs got even cheekier as the weather warmed up and their metabolism kicked up a gear. Keeps a person focussed...
Absolutely spectacular! Breathtaking scenery. Enchanted by the shadow of the boat on the cliff faces. I'm new to your channel and thrilled to be here. Thanks!
I LOVE everything about your video's. Informative, educational, genuine, authentic, and just the simplistic and very positive approach you both have to everything. Right down to doing your Kimberly wrap inside the boat with Pasquale's bra hanging in the background. In an age of technological driven stress its a joy to watch you both live the dream.
I'm inspired. I have bought my boat which is good start. Of course, being the other side of the world I don't have crocs to look at but there are 12m tides to play with :)
Awesome!!!! just awesome. The silhouette of your yacht and you two waving. So glad i have found your channel. subed and starting the binge now Thank you
Amazing! I'm new to the life. Well newer than new as my 34ft 40 year old catamaran is still getting rigging done and replacement of aging beam, chainplates etc. She is in Westernport now but I live in StKilda so will be sailing / motoring her around as soon as the mast goes back on. Just started at the beginning of your videos so will take me a while to catch up! Love your work!
Watched the Kimberley's again and loved it again, I usually don't watch the same thing twice, had no problem with this one, it's great every time, actually it was the 2 1/2, easy, easy now.
